He received seasoned fries that were very salty and 2 pieces of battered frozen fish triangles straight out of the box. No one was expected fresh catch of the day but there was no effort put into that fish. The super nice waitress realized the mistake with the fries and replaced them with regular fries. While still salty, these fries were a huge improvement over the seasoned fries. We loved our waitress but there was only one cook in the open kitchen and he was clearly overwhelmed. I believe she was helping him as best she could. Every table waited an extremely long time for food. Then our table was less than happy with 3 of the 4 meals ordered. Bottom line - get the pizza. And bring a side of patience. I like supporting small local establishments and have no regrets. I gave this review 4 stars because of the pizza alone. I believe that when the testaurant is named "pizza" get the pizza. Everywhere I have gone, the restaurant's best meal is in its name. Go to Pat's Pizza & Pub - order pizza and you'll have a good meal.
