The pizza was Good but would not make my top five. It was nice to take the back roads from Columbus and sit down in an established pizza joint. The sitting area was full of history and pictures of the growth of Phat Daddy's. Caricatures of past and present employees give it that small town feel. It's nice that they are a bicycle friendly restaurant. We went there after an event, as it was recommended by some of the event volunteers. The outside patio seemed like a great place, but after riding over 60 miles, inside was the place for us. The only good thing about my meal, was the beverage refills. The spaghetti and meatballs were dry, the meatballs were chewy and over cooked. The cheesy garlic bread was hardly able to be called that. It has pizza of varying quality, but the locals all love it of course. They also have good subs. I had the vegetable sub and chips. It's about $7 for the sub. The vegetable sub comes with a choice of several vegetables. It also comes with cheese and mayonnaise. This can be made much healthier by getting it with pizza sauce. It was a much better vegetable sub than at previous pizza places. This has a sub bun that actually tasted like something. It was toasted until it was crispy. The vegetables tasted fresher than canned, and there was a good amount of them. If you want to order pizza in London, the best option is Phat Daddy's. It's about the only pizza that isn't a chain. Ok pizza is very subjective but in my opinion their Pizza is not good. Cardboard crust is always 'hard' lack of sauce, skimpy on seasonings, pepperoni or toppings and basically very bland. Subs could be ok but they put mayo on an Italian sub? Prior to cooking so you end up with 'milk' everywhere...just average at best flavors although they are fairly stuffed on ingredients, and yes you can special order no mayo but it's Italian for Christ sake. Great people work here but service is Very slow...1.5 hours for delivery. We try to give them benefit of doubt but it's never got any better. Pizzas are good. Must request "pie cut" if you don't want your ROUND pizza cut in squares‍. Don't get too many toppings as is will prevent the crust from cooking evenly. We also like their subs, pretty consistent! If I had to critique something, don't put cold vegetables on a hot sub, put them on the side and let the customer add them. If you have a little extra money, and you don't want bad Pizza don't go to phat Daddy's consistency of their crust was different on both pizzas, ( thick on one thin on the other) their hot wings were about an inch long and not hot at all. While their Stromboli was big it was mostly just crust hardly any feeling I'm not sure what kind of sauce they use but it taste like if you put tomato in a food processor and added water. I wasn't impressed by phat Daddy's at all. I will never go there again it was way too expensive for the quality of the food. read more

Loved this place! Stopped here halfway through our bike ride and ordered a Stromboli. It was huge, basically liked the size of a pizza then folded in half with all of the toppings in between. There was only one woman working but she was wonderful. She even filled up all of our water bottle with ice water and gave us a 10% discount for wearing helmets! They have a lot of other menu items and ice cream. We will definitely stop back here on our next ride through London! read more

We came across this when we were in the area and got hungry around dinner time and stopped in. We ordered a Greek pizza for hubby and I while the children had cheese and pepperoni. It was delicious pizza! Service was fast and friendly and the place was clean. My two youngest loved the fact that the bottom parts of the walls were chalkboards and so they drew with the provided chalk while we waited. I highly suggest just buying a 2 liter instead of individual sodas as that is the more economical way for bigger families. Also have subs, salads and ice cream. We'll definitely be back. Great thin crust pizza, plenty of sauce, cheese and your toppings of choice. The daily specials are really great deals. Fun place for kids, with the dining room walls at child level old school house chalk boards,plenty of chalk provided. The staff is friendly, and they are really really customer friendly. If your in London you will without a doubt want to stop by & eat here!! I have NEVER had one bad meal here. I moved over an hour away a couple of years ago so I don't get to enjoy it as much as I like but whenever I come to town to visit I place an order every single time. The combo salads are my absolute favorite & I'm in love with the pizza! The staff is great & very comfortable home style feeling when dining in. The prices are fantastic especially when you see the portion sizes. I will actually be in town next week & have already made plans to have my friends meet me here for dinner. It arrived cold and was tough and dry like it was left in the oven too long. I paid $11 for a medium and that's way too overpriced. I'm really bummed that I spent money on this. read more
