They have enlarged and added some stuff. Expect lines and to wait but its a yellowsprings tradition. They sell simple food and ice cream. The milkshake was yummmmy. The bull shake was think and had scoop of ice-cream yummmmn. While hubby was in line ordering i went to barn to check out the animals.

This was my first time back to Young's Dairy in quite some time, probably since the pandemic. It was great to be back and see how much has changed. It was a bit chilly for our visit but we rode the carousel and had some ice cream. The service was fast and friendly. You order at the register and receive a buzzer to wait for your food. Can't wait for our next visit!

Young Jersey Dairy is a mini amusement park with their main restaurant thay includes burgers, home made ice cream, shakes and cheeses's. Perfect for date night! They also have hay rides, pumpkin patch, and a corn maze! A small barn that lets you feed goats, cows and a single fat pig (no it was really big). A carousel and driving range that we didn't get a chance to explore but will next time!

This is such a nice experience to see how grand this family has expanded their business! A visit can definitely be for the family to enjoy pumpkins, a corn maze, a carousel and more. I enjoyed their ice cream. It was very busy, so the line was long to order, but it moved relatively fast. Honestly, if you're in the area, it's a must see. Definitely loud and busy, but a good stop for the family.

Young's Jersey Dairy is a good place to spend an afternoon whether with your significant other or family. The main building is a restaurant, ice cream shop, souvenir store, and knickknack shop combined. The restaurant has a pretty simple menu with cheeseburgers, toasted cheese sandwiches, French fries and a few other things. The ice creamy part of the store has a large variety of ice creams that you can sample. The store has souvenirs but also food items such as maple syrup, pepper jelly, cheese curds, fudge, and a lot more. At the restaurant I had the double cheeseburger, with fries and a medium drink. My girlfriend had the toasted cheese sandwich with cheddar cheese and a small drink. The double cheeseburger was really good and filling. No pickles but I liked it just the same. The French fries were nice and crispy. My girlfriend's toasted cheese sandwich was in longer sized bread and she really liked it. We also had two scoops of ice cream. My girlfriend had the strawberry ice cream and I had the cotton candy ice cream. My girlfriend's strawberry ice cream was pretty good but I didn't think the cotton candy ice cream I got tasted like cotton candy. It was a bright blue color, with a lot of sprinkles mixed in, but flavor wise I would pass getting again. It's just plain tasting to me, although sweet. I think kids would like it due to the vibrant color but it's not really an adult ice cream. I would give this establishment four stars overall! Not for the food but for the variety of things to do and food items available. There's a merry go round, batting cages, miniature golf course and I believe a corn maze this time of year. The store has a lot of unique food items such as cheese curds, maple syrup, souvenir T-shirts and much more. It's a fun place to spend an afternoon with ample parking and a variety of thins to do! Must see if you've never been here!

    Turkey BLT and ice cream!

Every time I visit Ohio, I think of Young's Jersey Dairy. Today I had a double dip of caramel toffee and cookie dough. Delightful! I also ordered a Turkey BLT on sourdough and shared potato wedges with my husband. So good! Until next time!

This place was an EXPERIENCE!! I stopped in to check it out and was enticed by the pimento and bacon grilled cheese and sweet chili cheese curds. Both were delicious! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, too! I got a few ice cream samples while I waited for my food, then ending up buying 2 scoops of their nondairy flavors biscoff and peppermint hot cocoa. OMG YUM. The gift shop carried fun items. There are restrooms inside, as well as more in a separate labeled outside building. The dining area was very large, lots of tables!

Long line on a Saturday, and hard to find parking but wonderful icecream! I got the dairy free pumpkin and tasted like real pumpkin, not too fragrant. Ate outside to get more space but there is inside seating as well.

In the area...always the right time for ice cream! Wife and I split a double Buckeye sundae and it did not fail! Rich ice cream and plenty of toppings candy and whipped cream! Good sized line for mid-day Friday...harvest season...but line moved quickly! Plenty of seating and clean dining space. And lots of stuff to look at/purchase while moving through the line. Another nice visit! (They have added batting cages recently...maybe next visit)

Their staff were very friendly. Without you asking, they'd ask you if you'd like to try any their flavors. The place was so cute. Very themed. We purchased the wrist band with three tags to get 3 tubs of half gallon ice cream for around $7 off.

Everything is amazing, food, employees and being able to pet baby cows made my day. The entire facility is beyond amazing.

Wow this place is massive! I've driven by several times but have never stopped. It had so much more than I even expected. They were giving out samples of cheese when we were there, which I appreciated, and the displays of baked goods and dairy products looked great. We even bought some buckeyes to take home. Though it was so busy it was very efficient and the lines moved fast. I was a little unclear of how to get samples, but I stepped out of line so I could try some. The blueberry cheesecake flavor was excellent. We also got sandwiches which were pretty good, and cheese curds which were excellent. Would want to come back and explore more sometime, but we enjoyed feeding the goats after and playing on the little jungle gym equipment after. Definitely will stop by again.

My first time here and it's Feb 1st. Walking in there are cases of their selection of cheese. Along with a cheese sampler container if you want to try that. They have a sorted bread selection. Sweet potato bread, pistachio bread which we bought. We also purchased jersey pepper Jack, yellow cheddar, and red barn cheddar. If you're here you t try their ice cream. We had the peanut butter cup and hot cocoa peppermint. Delicious! Since we were here we decided to have lunch. We ordered the cheese burger, and cheese curds with a large soda. That came to around $15. The staff was extremely helpful and we were told of you come in Thursdays, you buy an item at regular price and you get the second item for $3

While they don't have an indoor restroom, I was grateful to find they had a very clean port-a-potty. Because that was the very first thing my toddler asked to do! This place is adorable! Their little house where you get your basket and then pay is so sweet!! There are chairs out front by beautiful flowers (talk about perfect for a picture). They provide small wooden baskets that hold two empty cardboard pints. The nice boy at the counter explained what was growing where and we were on our way! We came at a time where blackberries and raspberries were available. I have to say that things were pretty picked over on this particular day - while the bushes were decently loaded with berries, most of them were green. While I enjoyed the hunt this provided, my toddler eventually lost interest. Go figure. We ended up with one pint of blackberries. We visited the raspberry bushes, but there were literally only a handful left. They'd run out over the weekend, so that why we visited on a Wednesday. So make sure you check their facebook page or call ahead in case they close early.

Fresh, Local, Organic, Unique, AWESOME!…read more Yellow Springs Farmers market is the best in the area!! They are open every Saturday morning May to November from 7 am to noon, But don't arrive at noon or you will be disappointed. As their website says, with over 20 different vendors, they have fresh and organic fruits and vegetables from many different local farms. They also have organic meat, cheeses, and eggs. There are fresh baked goods and even a few great gluten free vendors!! They have local honey, local maple syrup, and even a place for fresh cut flowers. My personal favorites are the organic and local veggies, local honey, Flying Mouse local maple syrup, and the organic bacon. Once, I got some organic ham too and it was amazing!!! For people with food allergies - Lots of gluten free products. You will be amazed! Plus some free samples. You'd never know they were gluten free. I wish I could remember the name of the vendor, but one of my favorites has a completely gluten free kitchen because she has Celiac disease, so no cross contamination issues!!! For people with pet allergies, be careful. There are almost always people who bring their dogs. Also don't miss Yellow Springs Winter Farmers market - not as many vendors or variety but still worth the trip! Tips: Go early!!! You won't get the bacon or the pick of the produce if you go late. Park behind Tom's Market. Easy parking. Bring your own reusable bags. It is Yellow Springs after all. LOL. Bring plenty of cash in lower bills if possible. Ask questions. No one here minds talking about their products! Bring a gluten free friend along. They will thank you!

Sound good? There's more. George's Village Greenery, a nursery that used to sell exotic plants downtown, consolidated with YSB. So, you can now buy their exotic and tropical plants alongside perennials, local trees, bushes, ferns, carnivorous, cacti and succulents, local pottery, organic herb and veggie plants and more! Since the site is still being remodeled it's a little rough-not as polished as most nurseries, but it's getting there. They just built the "New Garden Market" which includes really nice indoor plants and local decor. I purchased a Silver Table fern for only $5-something I've never seen before. While walking through the greenhouses I experienced a lot more new things, like a pineapple plant that had a little pineapple on top of it and several plants I've never seen also in bloom, including cacti. I saw a healthy amaryllis and it's not even November! Sorry, I'm nerding out. You'll also experience Muscovy ducks from South America walking around helping to keep the bugs at bay. They also apparently ate all the kio in the fish pond, so their presence is, or was, bittersweet. A small grey cat also greeted us and said farewell-the apparent mascot. I forget his name. Osiris, maybe? Probably so since he looked a little rough.... The owners know they can't compete with all the chains that sell annuals at discounted prices. I don't think they even want to, to be honest. They're trying to rebuild the past but make it bigger and better, adding new experiences and education to the community. Both of which I definitely left with.

Recently renovated, it is a delight to the eye, with its antique and vintage furniture, perfectly chosen colors, and tasteful ornamentation. The common area downstairs, where a healthy and fresh continental breakfast is available every morning, is both lovely (I particularly loved the rocker) and comfortable. Our upstairs bedroom had not only vintage furnishings, but also welcome modern elements, such as the king-sized bed and wide-screen television - and there was plenty of drawer and hanging space. Every detail evidenced the care and taste of our host, Jim, from the lovely bed linens and ample towels, to the selection of personal toiletries in the elegant (and spotless) marble bathroom. Who expects a glorious white orchid on the vanity? And on the subject of the host, Jim is all we could have wished for. In addition to his attentive hospitality, as a long-time resident of Yellow Springs, he knows its history, its people, and its stories; and he is generous in sharing information about places to eat, shop, see art, and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area. We learned quickly that pretty much everyone in town knows and loves Jim and is eager to welcome his guests. Three Ten is a not-to-be-missed lodging experience. in a delightful town.
