Very disappointed! Used to come all the time because the ice cream was amazing and the service just as good. Last time we came it was very apparent the recipes have been changed dramatically for the Brownie and Birthday Cake flavors. Both flavors have been family favorites for years and we noticed immediately. Brownie was so bad my kids threw it out. Not only the flavor but texture and Cake Batter tasted almost sugar free or something. Very bland flavor sooooo upsetting. It use to be the best. Don't know why they would have changed it!! The other thing that upset me was the service that night. The older gentleman working seemed overwhelmed and almost like we were a bother to him. Very unfriendly. Made my daughter and I feel like we should hurry up and leave. I've never had that kind of treatment before there and was shocked. I love this ice cream place! I like that you pay per scoop and you can get a free cup or pay a buck or two extra for cone/bowl that you want. They have different ones to choose from! I love the options and variety! Tons of ice cream flavors! My favorite is cotton candy and cheesecake! I love that you get unlimited toppings at no extra charge! They have many to choose from and all conveniently on a large easy to view menu. Also, I didn't find out till my second visit that they have a reward program to earn points towards future purchases! Amazing!!!! I stopped by Super Scoops yesterday. The staff is incredible!!! As soonest I walked in I felt so very welcomed. The lady behind the counter asked me right away if I would like to sample different flavors and told me that the ice cream is made in-house. Super impressive! I opted for coffee and coconut. Yum! This place in Cross Pointe offers some enjoyable ice cream treats. The location on the end of the plaza made it easy to find. The facility is simple with three or four tables. The service was friendly and polite when we visited. We shared a two-scoop dish with cinnamon and dark chocolate. The ice cream had a great taste and texture. They are a bit expensive but it was worth it. We'll look forward to our next chance to visit. read more

Super Scoops is a very cute and classic ice cream parlor in Centerville. They were quick when we ordered our ice cream and had a variety of flavors to choose from, including your basic vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate, as well as more unique flavors like red velvet cake and tangerine sorbet. I think all of the ice cream was gluten free(make sure to ask if you need it) and they have a few dairy free flavors as well. Similarly to Cold Stone, they will mix in a variety of toppings on a cold surface. Something I liked was that the toppings were free to add since the ice cream itself was pricey at $6.25 a scoop. I got a single scoop of raspberry sorbet with no mix ins. As far as sorbets go, it was probably a little over average flavor wise. It was pretty seedy, which I personally like, but if you don't like seeds, I would stay away from this flavor. We will probably be back again this fall to try more flavors. We saw this was opened as we drove by and, as we were all feeling a little stir crazy, stopped in for ice cream. This place is SO clean!! All the ice cream is made at the shop. Mix-ins are unlimited and FREE!! The dark chocolate ice cream combined with nuts & peanut butter was amazing. Coffee was hot & delicious. Shaved ice fresh made. Waffle cones made fresh on house, too! I'm from out of town and wanted to order a special cake for a family member today. I was baffled and thrilled by the friendliness of the staff and the fact that they went the extra mile (literally) to make this happen without advanced notice. While I'm not in the area to "taste" the goods, I highly recommend this family-run ice cream shop just for the service alone! Great ice cream, but they can't keep track of their hours. They change them randomly. The store hours and what are on their website do not match. Frustrating when you've got three kids in the car. UPDATE: Owner emailed me the next day to let me know that they would update their website, and they would make it up to us on the next visit. Nice response from a local business. read more

This place is so amazing! The ice cream is so delicious. We usually go to an overrated place in downtown Centerville and we will definitely be coming here instead. The ice cream is reasonably priced and the quality is good. Sorry didn't take any pictures. I left my phone in the car and I couldn't get any pictures. Will come back. Super Scoops is now independently, locally owned, and operated by three brothers: Brian, Kyle, and Scott. Our goal is to spend a little time with our customers and offer them the opportunity to have delicious handmade ice cream, savory foods, and unique beverages to satisfy any palate!

Meet the Business Owner: Scott B.

After Scott served 22 years in the US Army, Kyle worked over 35 years in the commercial refrigeration industry, and Brian worked over 37 years as an electrical tradesman, they all decided to combine their efforts into a fabulous little ice cream store so they purchased Super Scoops! They really enjoy interacting with the community and serving fresh, homemade ice cream every day.

The pictures tell the story. My burger was very greasy as well. I worked at McDonalds in high school and college. I would be ashamed to work at this place. One more thing, I tried to order on the Freddy's app, and when I tried to place my order, the app informed me that this location is not taking ASAP orders, and I could only place the order for 4:00pm or later. This was at 2:00pm. They were not busy at all, so I suspect the staff set this up so they wouldn't have many customers. I would, however, recommend the Freddy's down the road in Beavercreek. I've always had good experiences there.
