Oh my!!! This ice cream is incredible!! It has that old skool ice cream shop vibe inside with the small town wholesome family values. The ice cream is so delicious!! You won't be able to stop thinking about it after you eat it! And their website informs you that they will ship it to your state (because they know you'll crave it)!! I found this place while on a work trip and my husband and I visited another location while on vacation. The cherry chocolate chip was my favorite and the black raspberry chocolate chip Was his favorite. (Both are delicious). We've always had good service at all locations we've visited. Black Raspberry Chip (5/5) - would definitely get it again. 2. Cookies and Cream (5/5) very different then what I have eater before (very good). 3. Holy Guacamole! We were out looking at Christmas lights late this week and we ran into this place in Centerville, Ohio. It was late for us old people; about 9 pm on a Sunday night, but this place was lit up and fairly busy. They have got to have the BEST ice cream I have ever had! My wife had brown butter bourbon pecan, our daughter had S'mores, and I had two types of Chocolate! Outstanding! The ice cream was perfect texture, creamy yet not too frozen, or too melted. Strawberry is my favorite flavor of all time for ice cream and Graeter's Oregon Strawberry is out of this world! It is so sweet and creamy, with chunks of robust strawberries. This is a terrific ice cream parlor with a local appeal. The facility is quite nice with both indoor and outdoor seating, providing a pleasant place to enjoy one's ice cream selections. The service is friendly and rather efficient. The flavors are numerous and creative. My wife tried the Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip, which she enjoyed very much. I had the "less sugar" Mint Chocolate Chip, which I thought was excellent. The prices were reasonable as our bill was $9.12 including tax for two single scoop cups. I usually visit here for a double scoop Sundae. But the other night was getting late and I needed to get my baby back home and into bed. I needed enough ice cream to share (and I have a hard time sharing Graeter's) so I just picked up two pints. They had the same size freezer and the same choices of flavors I've seen at other locations. I picked out two pints - one Black Raspberry Chip (it's an absolute favorite for BOTH me and my husband) and one Peanut Butter Chip. The service her was friendly and efficient! I would normally only buy pints from Kroger because it'll save you money. Graeter's charges $5.29, but Kroger's frequently has theirs on sale. Just a good thing to know. Once I was home, had the boy in bed and was able to dig into a bowl of ice cream, life was good! I managed to find one chocolate chip that was almost as big as the pal of my hand I will note that the Black Raspberry has dark chocolate chips while the Peanut Butter has milk chocolate. Just something to consider if you have a preference. I definitely prefer the dark chocolate (which are also in Coconut, Black Cherry and Salted Caramel). read more

This was a tough one for me to rate. The food is always great and normally the service is also great and the atmosphere is always great so it would normally be an easy 5 star. The problem is tonight (Wednesday evening at the end of November) they had one employee working and she couldn't keep up with the demand. I hate to score a place lower because of one not great experience however I have been here before when this employee is working and she should never be alone...ever! So tonight the service was slow, very slow, one ice cream was too soft and another was too rock solid frozen. Nonetheless, go here for icee cream. You can see them salivating in line! The Graeter's employees are nice, but they too, seem a little harried. (Probably cause they're dealing with all the salivating ice-cream customers.) The aren't a TON of flavors here, but enough to make you go hmm..... what do I want? Graeter's also offers sorbets and sundaes. My brother-in-law swears by their sorbets (pronounced sore-bet by him.) You can get your ice-cream in a cone or a cup. The cone selection is almost as good as the ice-cream selection. My only beef....no cake cones!
