Located on the corner in the heart of Commercial Point, this looked pretty popular on a Saturday morning. Decent parking, a table or two outside, a few inside, and a steady stream of customers. Half a dozen sweet flavor kolache, plus a few savory ones, plus a few other baked goods. And coffee, and lots of it. I didn't need that, and though I wanted to try everything else I just got two kolache, a Nutella and a sweet cheese. Nutella for Kid K, of course. I ate the sweet cheese. And yes, I was comparing it to Kolache Republic. Slightly different, much bigger, and proportionally more expensive. Soft sweet dough, not quite the same as KR or my family's but close. Sweet creamy cheese filling, again slightly different but close. And I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. KR has more imaginative fillings, though they also have the standards which Joe's has. Service was great. Prices are reasonable. Was in and out quickly. I'd love to have this nearby, and am glad KR is handy enough for me. If you live on the far south side of Columbus, or down towards Circleville, this will be more convenient.

They had no cars in the drive thru and no one inside when we walked in. There was a male and female employees that we could see but Neither came to greet us or take our order. A car then pulls in the drive thru the male employee took their order and came up to get their item. Then another car comes and he takes their order. I then hear the female employee tell him to go get our order after he finishes with that car. He comes over, takes our order, we pay. He never washes his hand, no gloves at all. He takes a couple of the donuts from an open container that had been sitting on top of donut case and puts in our box as well as a couple from the case. This little town is a "wide spot in the road, and is host to several grab and go eateries. Among them is this DQ. I found it interesting that they did not offer a footlong hot dog but when I asked I was offered two standard sized hotdogs instead. My first choice before the footlong was to ask if they had barbecue beef sandwiches, as it is often a standard item on DQ menus - I didn't see it on the menu - sure enough, this sandwich was also not available. Once I worked out my selections the food I did purchase was well prepared. They appear to have a dining area inside but I used the drive-thru window. The employees were friendly and it wasn't long before I was back on the road.
