We had an incredible night feasting on Bazemore Pizza located inside the Pointe Tavern. The dive bar setting is the perfect starting point to get drinks and relax while the pizza artists curate your meal. There were four of us so we ordered two pizzas, two orders of wings and some meatballs. The chef brought out our pizzas timely and couldn't have been a nicer dude, making sure we had everything we needed. The pizza was incredible, the wings were perfection and the meatballs were juicy (and better than any meatballs I tried on my journey through Columbus' "best meatballs" list). There were ZERO leftovers. Incredibly, afterwards we were able to move our stuffed bellies over to the basketball arcade game and end our evening with some friendly competition. There's just something symbiotic about pizza and dive bars... Serving out of The Point Tavern, Bazemore makes a name for itself with its signature 16 inch pizzas. Sometimes pizzas of this size are too floppy, but the crust was sturdy without being rigid. The Deluxe has sausage, pepperoni and banana peppers, and that's all that it needed. Well, except for a little more sauce in my opinion. The Italian sub, on the other hand came packed with ingredients. Almost too many (I'm looking at you, lettuce!) It was nice to try something other than pizza for my first time there, but any return trips will focus on the 'za for sure. read more

Total dive bar with a pretty good kitchen. Started with the fried pickle spears. They were excellent! Had the chicken cutlet sandwich, which was kinda like a chicken parm, but not really. Not enough sauce. Not enough cheese. Very good chicken and the toasted French roll was excellent. Only ate half of it. The daughter got the margarita pizza which was outstanding. Our bartender was flying solo, but knocking the service out of town. It's refreshing to see someone work their ass off while enjoying what they do and being friendly as can be. read more

Came here after seeing Dave Portnoy's pizza review and initially felt it was unfair to be rated so low due to the type of oven. However, I'd probably keep the same rating. My two biggest issues were for some reason I called as they opened on a random weekday and they told me they were sold out and extremely rude so I came back another day and it was fine. But, honestly wish I didn't even come back because my pizza tasted strongly of tomatoes and I hate tomatoes it ruined the entire pie for me. However, the rest of it was fine and could tell it would be really delicious if I liked tomatoes more. The presentation looks amazing though. read more

On our hunt for good pizza, we stopped in here. This is a full bar with great feel. It is self order at the bar and there is a patio outside. We ordered wings and pizza. The wings were nothing special but the pizza was outstanding. (The wings may have lost crispiness from the steam from container)It's not a fire oven pizza but sure has the crispiness and taste of one. So Bazemore Pizza Co. Is located inside Pointe Tavern in Upper Arlington Ohio. Italian Sub - This was thee best take on a classic sub I have ever had. I'm still trying to figure out how something so simple and yet it tastes so complex? Like the taste of Bazemore's Italian sub was absolutely F'n phenomenal! The bun had a crispy crust and the inside was warm and delight, everything inside was straight magic! The Margarita Pizza - 1st off, full disclosure I should note that I came here mainly because the place was featured on One Bite and the fact Dave Portnoy gave it an amazing review. So yeah, I had to come and it's worth the drive from Westerville to Upper Arlington. Just look at the picture! If that doesn't tell you what it tastes like, then nothing will! Ordered Bazemore pizza for a cool Friday night in! Ordering was quick and easy along with the wait of only about 15min! It was hot & ready to go when I picked up. The pizza and wings were a great bang for your buck! Pizza was a one size option and we ate about half of it for 2ppl. The was really good but giving 4 stars only because it was a little on the greasy side and once it cooled down a bit the toppings became a little stiff. My husband loved it though and is excited to go back for more! The wings were decently meaty and we got 6 of them for a 1lb which wasn't bad. Perfect to split along with the pizza!! read more

It took 3 times to try the food here - the first time I tried the freezer was broken, the second time they had run out of of food. Location is inside a bar deep into UA off a busy road, close to Hilliard. The pizzas are one size and large. Sauce on the top. Finally got to try them out! We tried almost everything. The wings, meatball sub, Italian sub, and The Za. Everything was fresh to death. Wings were crispy and sauce was on point. Well to start, I was working at UA all week last week and was so excited to try this pizza last Friday. I get off work and my boyfriend and I drove to The Pointe tavern..their kitchen is inside of there, we walked up to the door and there was a sign that they were closed until Tuesday. I was so disappointed! However..I just happened to work in UA again on Tuesday! Got there after work and sat at the bar. Kitchen didn't open til 5 so we had a beer while waiting! Ordered the custom with extra cheese, Ezzo pep and mushrooms!! This pizza was THE BOMB!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it!! The flavors exploded in your mouth! The crust, the sauce, the cheese was all excellent!! I will definitely go out of my way again for this pizza! It even heats up nicely the next day in the air fryer! Bazemore just recently opened inside The Pointe Tavern, and the food I had here was excellent! You can swing by and have a beer inside or on the patio or grab it to go like I did. They only offer one size, and it's a pretty big pizza. They use Enzo pepperoni, which is my favorite used in the area, and the crust is nice and thin, almost like a NY style. The salad uses fried up pepperonis too, and the Italian dressing is excellent. I highly recommend. Next time I'll be sure to check out the sandwiches, because those look just as delicious. I hear the wings are great too. The bar has plenty of parking, so you shouldn't have any issues there, and they're pretty quick right now if you order ahead. read more

Decided today was a pizza day. Headed down to Bazemore Pizza Co. They're located inside of the Pointe Tavern. I ordered a Ezzo's Pepperoni and Mushrooms pizza. Went down a back hallway where the kitchen is and met with the owners, Billy Bazemore and Todd Crow. Watched as they created my pizza. They only make dough for about 80 pizzas so they provide only the freshest ingredients for your pizza. They use a nice tomato sauce with SURPRISE actual tomatoes in it. So tasty. The cheese was perfectly balanced on the pizza, not just making a solid layer across it but a nice tomato cheese layering. The pepperoni and mushrooms were placed perfectly over the pie. Decided I had to have a slice before I left. OMG!!! The flavor of the ingredients were so fresh. The passion of these two guys surely shines through in their product. They also have wings that have a phenomenal taste to them, dip them in some ranch dressing and you will be amazed on how great they are. So if you want to taste the best pizza out there, come check Billy/Todd out. They're the real deal!!! read more

Why try Bazemore? The crust is delightful and truly one of a kind. Think chewy meets crunchy. If a New York-style pizza and a world-reknown Pepe's Pizza had a yummy, little hybrid pizza-baby, this is what it would taste like. The toppings are high quality. The cheese is quite good, and even better is the ricotta cheese on the meatball pizza. It's smooth, creamy like butter, and slightly sweet. Speaking of this meatball pizza, the pesto and hint of garlic are excellent complements to the meatball, cheese, ricotta, and tomatoes. Had the deluxe pizza, and while it couldn't quite hold a candle to the meatball pizza from heaven, it was solid in its own right. Tried the Buffalo wings and dry-rub wings too. Really like the fresh garlic in the Buffalo wings (wow, fresh garlic), but especially love the dry-rub wings. Put the dry-rub wings on your must-try list because they're to-die-for. read more

A very thin crust pizza, probably too thin if I'm honest. I'm typically fine with that style but the crust was so overdone it was rock hard. If you like a lot of sauce, this pizza is for you - my husband and I found it a bit too sweet and too much of it.
