Very good food, particularly burgers and shrimp po boy. Like the balsamic greens option for side. Great draft list.

Press on 5th has been our go to for GNO for many years now. The food always hits and the vibes are right. We love that the patio stays open into the colder months, and the inside is a more casual bar style but not loud or obnoxious. The service is always good and the food comes out fast. The wings are some of my favorite in the city and reheat better than most I have found!

Quaint dive bar vibes in the heart of grandview. The spot is casual and accessible with a parking lot out front. Noise level was decent and it wasn't packed. The menu was your basic pub food but had a wide range of offerings. Wings were good and the Buffalo sauce was solid - nothing to write home about though. I really liked the fries - they look so simple but they were perfectly crispy and soft on the inside 10/10 texture. They had an expansive beer menu with combination of tap and bottles as well as non alcoholic too. Service was very slow as it was just the bartender taking our order and checking us out. I think overall it was a good casual place to hang out with your friends and drink but for the price and quality, it was lackluster.

Pros: Great location off 5th near the CVS Easy parking Large outdoor seating space Katlin was an excellent server and she checked on us frequently Food and drinks came out quickly Loved the blue cheese dressing on my wedge salad Cons: Our pizzas were super dry - were overdone and was like eating cardboard (it tasted pretty good otherwise!) Pro tip and additional note: The restaurant didn't need to do this, but they comped our pizzas which I thought was very generous. My tip is to go earlier in the evening, have some drinks outside and stay for meal. No downtown parking stress!

This is my official love letter to Press Pub on 5th! I have been here countless times over the past two years. The friendly service, constant playing of sporting events, and Tobasco mayo sauce keep me coming back. As a former long-time vegetarian, Press Pub's cheeseburger brought me to the dark side (as shown in picture). Add a side of onion rings to that cheeseburger and you have yourself a balanced meal. Although I do not have a photo, I would highly recommend finishing off your meal with their cheesecake.

I loved the pizza here. I came just to try it and was not disappointed. Original Pizza: (Dover-New Phila style) Nick's red sauce + Ohio-made Holmes county colby + extra pepperoni. I'm from Dover so there was no way I was going to miss this. There were SO MANY pepperonis on this pizza and I loved every second of it. I added onions. I almost ate the entire pizza myself! 100% recommend. I sat at the bar and the bartender was pretty busy, so she didn't check up on me. I flagged her down for a side of ranch (not good & charged extra for it) and then to get my bill. She was very nice though.

Dope was ok for pub food... Ambiance is a typical pub feel. It's was empty when I went and I can see why... The service lacks luster from Management to servers. I had Jennifer. I'd take your money elsewhere.

Came here for the first time with friends and was served immediately. Our waitress was very nice and they had a nice selection of pub favorites. I ordered calamari as an appetizer which was delicious and had the salmon sandwich. Very tasty and filling!

Pesto Chicken Sandwich with hand cut cottage fries
    Marissa C.

We did an online order ahead of time, and the food was ready quite promptly - we got a text notification on the way over that it was ready. The hand cut cottage fries were a fun option and hot and crispy. The Pesto Chicken Sandwich was large and filling, featuring bacon, fontina cheese, portobello mushrooms, pesto and mayo with lettuce, tomato, and onion. It was much enjoyed. There is parking available, and the exterior of the restaurant is very eye-catching. It looks like they have a nice patio space for warmer weather too.

I can't prove this, but I believe they have the largest whisky selection in the city. Hey make a mean fish and chips, and there is even a day of the week you can get it for half-off (shhh). It can get crazy busy, so be prepared for that. We come back way too often!

McClellan's Pub delivered a plate of Fish & Chips so good I briefly considered applying for dual citizenship with Ireland and Great Britain just to honor both sides of the dish. Perfectly crispy, piping hot, and seasoned like the chef whispered sweet nothings to the fryer. The whiskey selection? Huge. Titanic. Practically its own ZIP code. But not a drop of Powers. , A tragedy Shakespeare himself would've rewritten entire scenes for. So, like any self-respecting Irish-at-heart patron, I defaulted to good old Jameson--reliable, comforting, and always there for you, like that one friend who helps you move because they "actually like lifting things." I also grabbed to-go orders for the home tribe: bourbon meatballs, prime rib sliders, and meatloaf. The feedback? Universal acclaim. They devoured everything like I'd brought them a peace offering after years of conflict. If McClellan's ever launches a catering service, entire families could be reunited. The place was packed through Happy Hour and well beyond--apparently, half of Columbus had the same idea. If popularity is a metric of quality, this pub is basically Beyoncé. Temperature-wise? A bit chilly. Could've been the weather... could've been the pub... could've been the frigid realization that they were this close to having my favorite whiskey. Hard to say. Bring a jacket just in case. All in all, McClellan's is a rock-solid choice for hearty pub eats, stellar vibes, and enough whiskey to make you forget they didn't have the one you wanted.

Great for finding some food before attending a show at one of the nearby theaters. The menu is what I would best describe as comfort, food. Arrived approximately 3:30pm - restaurant basically empty (maybe 5 tables total occupied). Went to check in for 2 and the host said he had reservations at 5. Huh? So I asked do you mean you can't seat us until 5? And he said no, that we need to leave by then because other people are coming. I thought that was very weird and unprofessional. I've never had an experience like that before. It's a basic sit down place, why would you think we'd linger for more than an hour and a half? Whatever, weird feeling, but we were seated. Seated in the walkway. Not like in a path but literally blocking the walkway where you step down. Why do I say this? Because people walking by kept banging into me. Not their fault. Why is there a table there? And why were we seated there when at least 80% of the restaurant was empty???? Ok whatever. Ordered food including their signature made in-house tots. Waitress comes back and says they were slammed in the morning and they're out of tots. (Man I feel bad for the people coming at 5. LOL) whatever except the people at the next table appeared to be served tots. Food was tasteless. The Mac and cheese had a weird texture like the roux wasn't cooked properly. My patty melt was mostly bread as the patty was too small for the bread. My husband had the signature chimi burger and it completely lacked any chimichurri flavor. Like at all. We were out by 4ish (plenty of time for them to prepare for their expected onslaught) and needless to say I've unbookmarked this place from my yelp. Maybe we'll try the Mexican place across the street next time. ‍
