    Kh5 Burger with Brussels sprouts
    Tristan T.

Kraft House No 5 is a cozy, easygoing neighborhood restaurant. We easily got reservations for a Friday night same-day and were seated promptly upon arrival. We came during happy hour and the deals were great, my husband was so pleased with his $6 old fashioned and my draft beer was half off! The chicken sandwich was awesome and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. My husband was incredibly impressed with the burger as well; it was perfectly cooked and the bun was so soft. He originally wanted asparagus as his side but they ran out, so he subbed Brussels sprouts and honestly they were awesome. Will definitely be back again to this spot!!

It had been a long time since I had visited this spot, and I'm glad I decided to go back! The staff was all super friendly. My girlfriends and I were catching up and they did not rush us at all. We started with the nachos which were really tasty and a little different than your normal nachos with a flavored sour cream, and we all really enjoyed them. For dinner I got the classic girl dinner or a with Caesar salad with chicken and a side of fries. The fries had a nice garlic and rosemary flavor and were perfectly crispy. The salad was good, the croutons made it great! I don't know if they make them in house, but they are light and fluffy and perfectly crunchy. This is a fun little restaurant and if you're in the Powell area I recommend checking it out!

The service was incredible... We were looking for a different place to eat so we decided to go to Powell. Kraft House 5 seemed interesting and had no wait. The decor is really cool and the environment is laid back so we felt right at home. The waitress was fantastic - we got incredible service - our brunch started out with the big pretzel and beer cheese which was really good ( it came with a steak knife - I never thought about cutting a pretzel up - what a great idea) Wifie had their KH5 hamburger which was really good she really enjoyed it with the potatoe hash as a side. I had the Benny which is their take on eggs Benedict. They use beer cheese instead of the traditional hollandaise sauce, the eggs were sunny side instead of poached, and they use ham instead of Canadain bacon but that made it unique and quite tasty. All and all we really enjoyed our brunch.

My mom and I decided to check out the Kraft House as it has been maybe 10 years since we were here. I loved the inside decor, very eclectic and I love the boat on the ceiling. Our server was very nice and friendly. My mom and I ordered a glass of wine and decided to just have appetizers for dinner. We went for the roasted cauliflower, was very bland. Next, we had the buffalo shrimp, which seemed to be just shrimp with buffalo sauce on them. Not sure what i had expected, but something better. Lastly, we had the wings. They were ok, not the best but better than everything else. The ranch sauce they served was weird, not your normal ranch sauce and they charge for it. 50 cents. All in all, was a ok experience, but with so many other great restaurants in Powell, I will skip this place.

    EPIC.

We were downtown enjoying Franklinton Fridays, and decided to stop here to grab drinks and some food and get out of the heat for a bit. We sat on the roof and had a fun view of all the action happening on the street down below. Service was chaotic, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. Forgivable seeing as it was a pretty hectic night with larger than normal crowds. The saving grace was the pretzel - this was one of the biggest soft pretzels I've ever had, and the honey mustard - if I could have ordered an entire jar to take home I would have. And I love honey mustard, I've had a lot of it, I'm picky. We did order dessert and after about 45 minutes realized it probably wasn't coming, cancelled the order and left. Things were still chaotic when we left, but I'd probably come back for that pretzel, just not on a weekend.

Met my daughter here and we just had appetizers . The menue is alittle limited. We ordered the wings , buffalo shrimp which was good and the roasted cauliflower . The cauliflower was lacking something ? Mabe needed more cheese and the wings were alittle dry. Our waitress , Liz was very nice and friendly. The place decor was nice and was busy , not very large so may want to make reservations

We will DEFINITELY be back!! Happy staff, friendly personalities, recommended amazing cocktails, and delicious food! We sat at the bar and had the best time. Danny, our bartender extraordinaire was fun and enjoyable. He walked us through some of their signature cocktails & beers. They have a great selection. They were hoppin' with business for a cool sunny Sunday. Maria (owner and manager) jumped in to help staff and the smile never left her face. They all seemed to genuinely like each other and enjoy what they do. We recommend the roast chicken with mushroom risotto - delicious. The warm pretzel with Creole mustard & cheese was delightful too. Highly recommend this establishment! You won't be disappointed.

Our drink orders were taken and questions answered. The appetizers were all so good. Bread service was warm and fresh, bruschetta was prepared well and was a good amount of food per order. The pretzel rolls were a big hit as well. Salty but still soft. While relaxing the kids got chilly and Kyle offered them blankets which was a really nice touch. Then came the meal. The kids ordered playbread pizzas (sauce was a little spicy), Mac and cheese (which was devoured), and chicken tenders (good amount for a kids meal!). Adults had the sweet potato pasta (delish! And had a little kick), salmon (which they raved about how flaky and well cooked it way), baked cod (flavorful and prepared well), fried cod (nice and flaky, great batter!), and lemon chicken (chicken was a little dry but overall delicious). The potatoes that came with many meals were crispy and soft, perfectly seasoned. This was a really good meal, and we will definitely be back when in town!

I was early enough for happy hour and had a wonderful Cucumber Gimlet. The service was excellent. I ordered the House Chopped Salad, Lake Erie Walleye, and Lemon Blueberry Panna Cotta. The panna cotta was good, mostly because of the topping. It is not something I would order again, being kind of bland, but to no fault of the kitchen. I'm not a custard-y kind of gal, but wanted to try it. I would definitely come back here for another meal.

Everyone from the hostess to our server was very friendly and nice. They have a full bar and a decent selection of beers. My wife and I decided to share their whipped ricotta appetizer and their French onion burger. The appetizer came with thinly cut crusted baguette. The ricotta cheese was mixed with some strawberry flavor. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred it to be thicker in constituency. The burger and fries came out perfectly cut into half portions for each of us, which was a really nice touch. We had asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare and I think it came out more like a medium well. The patty itself was a bit dry. This may be a one off issue and we hope to return to try some other dishes.

I stopped by here a couple nights ago with one of my coworkers while on an out-of-town work trip…read more Despite being a Monday, the place was actually pretty busy. Regardless, we were seated right away. We were given a spot at a high top inside but adjacent to the open windows for some fresh evening air and a nice cooling breeze. Unfortunately, service throughout the night was a little spotty. The first round of drinks took a while to come out, the app went missing, our server (who seemed slightly less than enthused all night) took the liberty of snagging an extra one for us, and then our entrees came out right at the same time. I started with the sunrise mojito. Being a bit of a rum snob, I am particularly picky when it comes to rum-based drinks and this one did not disappoint. Probably one of the best takes on a mojito I've had in quite a while. I eventually followed that up with the peach bourbon smash, which was also tasty but pretty heavy on the peach and less on the bourbon. To get started on food, we ordered the street corn nachos. Now, I do love street corn, but something about corn on top of nachos on paper doesn't exactly sound like my personal first choice. However, since my coworker was putting the food on his company card, he went that route. Man, what a mistake I made in my assumption. Absolutely amazing. Gooey cheese, excellent flavors, and not too much to fill you up. My coworker got the shrimp capellini, which looked excellent and he agreed it was solid. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich (a gochujang aioli? Come on). The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was indeed crispy but also quite juicy. The fries were also delicious being slightly soft, slightly crisp, and not too salty. All in all, a couple service hiccups aside, this was a really fantastic place. I definitely will be sure to make my way back here if I find myself on another work trip for sure!

I've gone during brunch for my most recent visits and can't seem to stay away from the breakfast tacos. I think what makes the tacos stand out is the fried chicken. It's deliciously crisp while still maintaining an excellent moistness. Add that with gravy on top?? 10/10! I find that two tacos is plenty especially considering the side of potatoes. Highly recommend this dish! The true star of this restaurant is the biscuits, whether it's the cheddar & scallion or the cinnabiscuits. I truly don't think I've had a better biscuit in Columbus. They're THAT good. You can't dine here without ordering one of these options. I love the environment and how friendly all my waiters have been. During each visit, a manager has come up to our table and chatted with us about our experience. Very kind people! An incredible establishment all around.
