One of my favorite places to get a burger, never disappointed. The chips that come with I craved while I was pregnant and would just come in for that. Yelp for the win! So many good choices we didn't know where to start so we just chanced our luck and walked in to this one (#1 recommended for me). We were seated right away (Friday night before game day - ). The service was phenomenal. She asked us if we'd ever been there and when we said no she asked if we wanted recommendations. She was so attentive and even asked us why we were in Columbus. We ordered fun cocktails and wine and couldn't decide on food so ordered all the recommendations and split everything. Food was all good but in order of best to good - 1) Lobster Mac and Cheese, 2) Market Burger, 3) Lamb Sliders (this was my favorite but I love all the things on it and many might not), 4) Amish Chicken. Only thing we wished is the Amish Chicken came with lettuce, tomato, onion - just more. The restaurant was a dark, slightly too warm, obviously "more adult" vibe. I want to start by commending the exceptional service provided by Dane. She was wonderful, and her recommendations truly enhanced my meal. Based on her suggestions, I ordered the Southern Spring Rolls and the Loaded Brussels sprouts with feta and cranberries; both were phenomenal, especially the dipping sauces she provided for the rolls. My main course, the Arch City Burger, was cooked to perfection on a nicely toasted bun, and the Caesar salad I ordered as a starter was fresh and crisp although dressing was average not my preference. To finish, both the Night Shift martini and complimentary tiramisu were delicious. While I had an overall excellent experience and plan to return soon, I did want to provide some constructive feedback regarding the beverages here. I was disappointed that bottled water was unavailable. Additionally, I found the $17+ price point for pre-batched cocktails to be quite high, as I generally prefer a freshly made drink. However, I was very pleased that Dane was able to accommodate my request for a fresh Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned instead. I stopped by Arch City Tavern and the service was great quick, attentive, and friendly, which really stood out. It was early so there weren't a lot of people inside which helped cause I was on a lunch break but nice inside and cozy. The food, however, was a bit hit or miss. I ordered the salmon sandwich and a Caesar salad. The salad was okay; they put a generous amount of dressing, which I actually liked, but the croutons were burnt, so it threw off the overall flavor. The salmon sandwich was the biggest disappointment it had barely any aioli, wasn't seasoned at all, and ended up tasting like nothing. It looked great, but the flavor just didn't match the presentation. Overall, I'd come back for the service, but I'd probably try something else on the menu next time. read more

The Burger I got was the, Fat Goat Burger. Usually I like to put some sort of condiment on my burgers but I felt like it wasn't needed with this. It's a thicker burger and I thought getting it medium was a good cook. Since I got the reuben egg roll sharable, I opted for the side salad. The side salad was an extra up charge, but I thought it was worth it. The fries are always reliable so you can't go wrong with those. This is one of my go to Burger places in Columbus. The ribeye tacos were one of three weekend specials for October 4-6, 2024. They were overflowing with red meat and bursting with flavor! I might recommend flour tortillas over corn, but that's not an option. Only one corn tortilla deteriorated and fell apart, but I managed without much mess. The avocado and lime were excellent compliments to the ribeye. Arch City Tavern has one of my favorite beers on tap - Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro! We came to Arch City after the buckeye game and have been wanting to try it forever! We started with the brat corn dogs. These were interesting. The breading was pretty greasy which at times took over and we couldn't taste the meat. We then ordered wings in the Smokey chipotle sauce. I thought they were fine, a little tiny, but the sauce was different. The burger was definitely the star of the show. Cooked perfectly medium rare and the meat tasted very quality. They are good brats, with really just a very thin batter, deep fried. Served in coarse mustard. Very good. I tried the fries- thin and crispy and a huge portion. Also some of the veggie tray: fresh and tasty. I expected the brat corndogs to be a gimmick, and the rest to be typical bar food. I was wrong. It was all quite good, and reasonably priced because of happy hour. And with great service, good music, a cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back- lots of interesting things on the menu. Did I find a new favorite burger? This was an amazing experience. I heard a lot about their fries and was craving some good fries, so my wife and I went here. She got the French onion soup with the truffle fries, and I got the Arch City burger. She loved her onion soup, and I absolutely loved the burger. Cooked perfectly to medium rare. Those fries were some of the best I ever had. The green sauce to dip it in was delicious. It felt like there was garlic in it, but ask for extra of that. It's delicious. read more
