I've been a fan of these folks for years. They made a beer years and years ago, I think it was a sour IPA... I miss that beer so much!!

Second time visiting Wolf Ridge for a team dinner. Restaurant was fairly empty for a Wednesday evening and very dim lighting. I ordered the Harvest Kale Salad, didn't taste much of the dressing on the salad, but I could definitely taste the roasted sweet potatoes. For the entree I had the KFC w/ apple jam on the side with garlic fries. The chicken and bacon were both "well done" and the apple jam did not add much flavor, should have requested the spiced aioli that comes with the Hop Salt Waffle fries instead. Asked someone for some of their waffles fries, those are definitely the way to go, very good and flavorful. Took pictures of others orders, the Fall Fruit Salad - the person added salmon to the salad and enjoyed it; the beef and lamb burger and fish & chips were also a hit. read more

My husband and I went during restaurant week in July and had a great 3 course meal! We had Xavi as our server and he was great! We both got the jerk chicken entree as there were not too many choices for the entree for restaurant week. The others were a pork dish, which we could not have and a vegetarian dish. For my app, I got the brussel sprouts and my husband got the summer salad for his. The brussel sprout dish was huge, we both shared and had plenty of leftover to have with the entree. I would get it again as they were crispy and delicious. My husband said his salad was refreshing. The jerk chicken dish was really good. The chicken was cooled very nicely and the jerk spices were not overpowering. I do have one complaint though, the dish was dry. There needed to be an element to tie it all together. The rice and tostadas were dry, so we were happy the brussel sprouts were left to add a little bit of moisture. For dessert, I got the jalapeño cheesecake which was really good. It offered the perfect kick and was a new concept to me. My husband did not like the mousse, there was an overpowering liqour taste to it. Recently Steve and I tried Wolf's Ridge Brewing again after a few years and had yet another Cream Ale from their selection of beverages. From their Clear Sky series we had the Lavender Lemon Sorbet and we liked that quite a bit. It sounds like it could be really sweet but it's more pleasantly herbal. Additional flavors is of course Lavender and Lemon but also some nice breadiness in the flavor profile also. This beer is very refreshing and more on the creative and unusual side as far as flavors goes which makes it a lot of fun to drink if you are into beers such as this. read more

After a rather excessive night, I knew the only cure for me was a coffee, a beer and a greasy hamburger. Wolf's Ridge brunch was the answer to my prayers. Service was a bit slow for a fairly empty space but when he was attentive, he was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! Burger hit the spot and saved my life. One of my favorite brewery stops in Columbus. The beer is top notch, you cannot go wrong with anything here, but the standout of me was the Kolsch, which never stands out for me. The food is pretty solid as well, especially the wings and the pizza tots. The sauces were very unique and stood out from any bar wing I have had in a long time. read more

Normally Wolf's Ridge Brewing is closed on Monday, but they do private events in a separate area. The food was delicious like BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders, Meatballs, and more during the retirement event. I enjoyed Boylan's Diet Cola in a bottle and I told a few people about Boylan's Soda comes in the fountain version like a Northstar Cafe. The staff was very nice and helpful. Excellent Restaurant Week outing here. The dining experience was perfect from beginning to end - one of the best of the year for me. The service was on point. Our server checked in on us with each course, but was not obtrusive at all. The walleye entree was beautiful in its simplicity. Well grilled fish and creamy, cheesy corn grits. The lemon cheesecake was light, fluffy and slightly tart. Don't miss out on the mozzarella balls app - they were addictive. Unsurprisingly, the drink list is beer forward. They have a short list of specialty cocktails and a nice wine list. Parking is pay only in one of the surrounding city lots. The brunch menu looks really tasty and I cannot wait to return to check it out. read more

What a great brewery! There was a great selection of beers for light to dark. Lots of happy hour specials including flight specials during the week. I came before a Blue Jackets game, and the parking price was unbelievable! Less than $7 for the whole night! This brewing is only a short walk from the stadium and other attractions. I also was impressed with how clean everything was, including the bathrooms. I'm definitely looking forward to coming and trying the food sometime! read more

Brunching here for the first time while waiting for my car oil change and tire rotation around the corner. I love trying new brunch spots so this seemed like a good spot to grab a bite. Burnt Edge Hash and a Bloody Mary were my choices from the menu. They also surprised me with a shot of the award winning beer -Day Break. I'm not a beer drinker but this was delicious. The burnt edge hash was so good. I would order it again. The atmosphere is great. I saw large families and couples dining. The staff is excellent. Super friendly and helpful. I had lots of questions since this was my first time here, and they were all so helpful and engaging. Since I was dining alone, it was nice to see they would be friendly and social. Prices seem fair in relation to the portions you get. And the flavor was bold and spicy, which I love. I lucked onto a good find today. I will most certainly be back and recommend this place to my friends. I have nothing but good to say. Hats off to the bar tender/servers who made my dining experience a positive one. read more

Solid brewery with lots of choices! Love that they also offer wine and cocktails, I think you'd be hard pressed to not be able to find a drink for everyone here. The tajin walking taco was very interesting and a perfect twist on what otherwise may have been a "normal" beer I had time to kill during a conference trip so I wandered down with my book and had a beer at the bar. Some of the rest of our group wanted a bite to eat between meetings so they joined me and we were able to put together a few tables so they could join. Service was good when it was just me, but I think they were overwhelmed once the rest of the group got there. Some of our party tried to order drinks at the bar to make it easier since there were only two servers and one was already pouring drinks, but was told that we needed to order from the table. Which resulted in a much longer wait (again two servers) and some of the group opting to not get drinks due to the timing. Food seemed good from everyone else's input! read more

Wolf's Ridge has three distinct dining experiences. In their dining room is brunch and dinner, but the taproom has a nice menu of its own. That's what we tried on a Sunday afternoon, and the crowd ranged from 6 year olds to 60 year olds. Accompanying my Build Your Own flight of beer was a large but pedestrian tasting pretzel. It's rare that I say this regarding pretzels, but the dijon mustard was better than the beer cheese, because the latter tasted more like beer than cheese. My counterpart got the Pierogis and the sampling of it that I stole was impressive. My dish was the Chorizo Mac, and the combination of the meat, mac & cheese, and pickled onions blended well... though not spectacularly. The taproom trip was about what I thought it would be. I'm curious to try the dining room for that higher end experience that many locals rave about. read more

We stopped here for dinner on a Sunday and ate in their tap room since the dining room is closed Sundays. The tap room is a large warehouse space with many wooden long tables, window bar seating and two booths. We lucked out and scored one of the comfy booths. So very comfy!!! The server we had was amazing and definitely added to the night. Just such good energy and a fun personality. He made us laugh every time he came over. Two of the items we had wanted to order they had sold out of before we had arrived. We ended up ordering: two gyros meals, one falafel sandwich and a fried chicken sandwich. We had wanted to pair the sandwiches w/salads as we had done prior visits but learned... no more salads. Boo. (There went a star). We had a friend visiting from out of town and took him here since none of us had ever been before and I'm so glad we did! We had Joel as our server and he was amazing!!! I got the WRB breakfast sandwich with fries and house made hot sauce and it was so good and huge!!! Everyone left so full and pleasantly pleased! We will definitely be coming back! Came here as a walk-in in with my girl friends Saturday night. It was my first time here and it did not disappoint! We were able to get a table as soon as we got there and our server was there within a few short minutes. We ended up getting the pretzel bites and each got the burger with fries. The Venison Dumpling Stir Fry was excellent, with very tender and flavorful thin slices of Venison, large dumplings filled with what seemed to be potato and cheese, and veggies in a tasty gravy. We recently stopped by Wolf's Ridge Taproom and had a good time. They have a few bar top seats, but the majority are large picnic tables. There is a small outdoor area in the side alley with some seating. The atmosphere is pretty sweet. Solid choice of beers, with a few rotating each month. We did not try the food, but I've heard great things, especially about the brunch. Would definitely come back to try the food. Of note, they have happy hour Tuesday through Friday from 3-6pm which includes $1 off drafts, $2 off build your own flights and $2 off pretzels & wings. read more

The restaurant appears to have three sections: one for events, another for the tap brewery, and the third for dining. We first walked into the event section and were told the restaurant was next door, but ended up in the brewery by mistake. Unfortunately, by the time we realized, the food didn't look anything like the Yelp photos. The fish was terrible, mostly breading with hardly any meat, and the only thing that had any flavor were the fries. The customer service was excellent, but the brewery side wasn't for us. read more

My son ate a ton and there was still enough for my husband and I to have a bite. My husband got the ham and cheese and garlic fries and was pleased. The beer, appetizers, atmosphere and staff were great. Each of us did a flight and started with the vegetarian schnitzel which was well seasoned and tasty. We shared a wedge salad which had in-house dressing that was delightful and had fresh dill. But the entrees cannot be overlooked. I ordered the trout with crispy skin and couscous. It was awful. I felt like I was served gruel. Perhaps I don't actually like trout, because it was tepid, bland, yet super fishy. I felt like I was licking a dead fish. The only thing going for it was the crispy skin (unseasoned?!) which was ruined by the "tableside aromatic broth" which was basically the waiter pouring hot water on the fish. The couscous was similarly bland. I took 2 bites of each and did not eat any more. Visually was also terrible, nothing fresh on the plate. My husband had chicken with beans which was similarly unseasoned. His at least looked nice, but was also bland and the beans tasted as if they came from a tin. The waitress did not appear to notice that we didn't eat our food, but it's not as if she is the blame for the menu. For not eating our entrees, an expensive night out. We won't be back for dinner, though may be open minded about brunch based on the good service, atmosphere, and beer. read more

Post Covid update. Or whatever. It's been brunches, dinners, happy hours, night caps. Caveat emptor: I am in the "Wolf Pack" (the brewery fan club). They have been killing it front and back of the house. I won't lie - the food CAN be too eclectic for some palates. You don't send your friend who loves Texas Roadhouse to a place like this for steak. You have to know what you're walking in to. It's beer. Yeah, they made a lager and pilsner, maybe it'll sate the Budweiser drinker. They have a burger. They have truffle fries. It's anything BUT basic. If you like good food, and good beer - it's an awesome place. But it's not going to cater to everyone, and that's a level set some people need. Personally? Some of my favorite beer in town, and taproom/front of house, some great service and some of the best (seasonal) food I have come across. read more

I called them at 9:20 asking if they had a gluten free bun option for my girlfriend and told them I was placing a To Go order online. They state they accept orders until 9:40. I put my order in and went you hit pay at 9:27 only to find they turned off their terminal to avoid taking another order after I called them and explicitly told them I was ordering something to pick up. Mind you they don't even close until 10pm. As a member of the service industry, this is the rudest thing I have ever experienced in my life. I personally would have told my kitchen to expect one my order. They have no idea why we needed to go food and why this was one of the only options for us based on my gfs dietary restrictions. On top of all that, she is battling cancer and you guys put the cherry on top of a bad day, oh wait nvm you shit on top of it. Unfortunate. We came from Lewis Center for a first time dinning experience, 11/5. Paid $5 to park. We were a bit early for our reservation and when entered the fairly busy, loud dining room, there was no one at the host podium, not a good look. Even worse, a nearby server couldn't be bothered to say hi and someone will be right with you. After a couple of minutes, a gentleman sat us at a table, and there we sat -for 10 minutes (I timed it) and no one even acknowledged us! There were a couple of servers tending the tables on either side of us and carried on as if we weren't there. Unbelievable. No manager presence and a care less service staff, DISGRACEFUL. We left with no intention of ever returning. Waste of our time and money. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I stopped by here for a couple of drinks which were great and something that really stood out was the interior design of the place. It was gorgeous. The bartender was very attentive and made sure that we had what we needed. I definitely want to stop by again and try out their food, because seeing the food being run out was incredibly tempting. This is a cute spot with a good vibe. They were accommodating to my celiac and helped me navigate the menu with gluten free variations.

I wasn't expecting this to be as wonderful an experience as it was! The beer I tried (Daydream) was flavorful and delicious, and even though I'm no expert, it was superior to many I've tried. Since I'm out of town, I decided not to go "safe" with items I've had previously and so I tried the Pork Cheeks served over polenta. The tenderness and flavor was unmatched. It left me wondering if I'd ever had good pork before (I have!). The chocolate creme brûlée was a bit safer of a choice and did not disappoint. The location and ambiance was (as I've come to expect from breweries) interesting and while not fancy exactly, the dining room had a polish that made dining there an experience. Tap room was comfortable and seemed like a nice place to hang with friends. Service was excellent. Thanks, Drew for keeping up with us and being helpful and informative about food choices. If I came to Columbus again, I'd have to make a repeat visit. read more

When I first came here, I was really impressed by the menu and the food. Since then, I've visited two more times and was very disappointed. The food is VERY overpriced for the quality. On my most recent visit, I went to dinner with three other people and none of us were impressed by our entrees - flavorless or odd textures. One dish came with a broth that was lukewarm. It would be fine if it was half the cost, but it just isn't worth the price. Also, a few items (like the bread and butter and the olive oil cake) included beer in it. When I asked if there was any alcohol content, the server initially said that the alcohol was cooked off (pretty unbelievable for a beer-flavored butter), but then said that there was alcohol but not enough to feel any effects. This information needs to be MUCH clearer for people who have health-related reasons to avoid any alcohol consumption. Ideally, include the information on the menu, but if not, then the servers need to be consistently trained to deliver a clear, accurate answer. read more

Had dinner here with a couple work colleagues. Great service and delicious food--we all liked our meals and the fish they served was sustainable. Menu noted vegan and GF options which was appreciated. One colleague enjoyed his sampling of beers and my other colleague and I enjoyed one of their house cocktails, neroli, which was delicious. Easily one of my new favorite places in the city. The fall menu is thoughtful, unique yet familiar, delicious and comforting. Loved the popcorn on the butternut soup. The dining room has a warm, cozy vibe that is intimate and communal at the same time. Service is outstanding. Joel was welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. Spacious interior, interesting and very good food, and of course great beer. What's not to like? If you're vegan, go for the Japanese vegetable curry (recommended if you're not vegan, too).
