They also have a table of games at the front that you can play. My food was so good except my buffalo wings tasted like they could've been bbq. I got a hint of sweet, I'm not sure if it was the Buffalo sauce they use or they wound up giving me the wrong sauce. The waiters and servers were all very friendly. I came again another twice more for to-go salads and they made sure to put my protein in a separate container to not wilt my lettuce. Cool spot for burgers and beers before a hockey game. Lots of sandwich and pub grub selection, really enjoyed the beers too.

This was close to the convention center and it wasn't super crowded so it seemed like a good place to grab lunch. And it did not disappoint at all. Service was great with plenty of drink refills for a thirsty bunch. Food wise... the deep fried pierogis were soooooo good. They asked if we wanted a seasoning and tried the cajun dry rub and wow, that went so good with these things. I also ordered the cajun chicken pasta which was also excellent. It came with garlic bread (one of the main reasons I ordered it) and that was delicious too. With great food and great service, I'd go back for sure. Stopped in here for a quick drink when I was in town for a conference. Space is very welcoming and the staff were attentive and quick, especially with it being busy with the conference in town. This is a great family friendly restaurant to go to if you have an event happening at the convention center. Close distance to many of the hotels in the area. Service was fantastic. I got the Garlic parmesan dry rub wings, the skin was deliciously tasty, crispy but melts in your mouth, the meat inside tender. they make their own Ranch and it is SO good! So so good! The food is so good with our favorites being the Brussel sprouts and Reuben egg rolls. It is not as loud as you expect a sports bar to be and the booths are high enough to give your group the feeling of being alone enough at a busy restaurant but able to have conversations at a reasonable level of voice. Two friends and I visited Barley's Brewing Company for beer and dinner after work. My biggest complaint is regarding parking. There are limited street parking spaces in that area and the nearest garage was $25 for "event" parking. I ended up parking several blocks away at a different garage. Parking issues aside, the rest of the visit went well. Barley's has a restaurant on the ground floor and a barcade on the second floor. For this visit we sat in the restaurant. Our server was friendly and provided swift service with our orders. I started with a beer flight to try some of their beers. Barley's is well known for its beers. The beers I tried were great. I went with the Turkey and Bacon Sandwich with Sweet Potato French Fries. The sandwich was delicious. I also enjoyed the fries, though the portion was small on that item. He reported that if we got there at 4 we should be good and miss the rush before the 7 hockey game. Once there we were seated immediately. I ordered a sampler, it took a little for us to get our drinks but it was pretty busy. As an app we got their Bavarian pretzels. These were pretty good. As my main I got the buffalo chicken wrap. It was good. Although they did mix up our fries (not the end of the world) we just picked off of each other's plate. There sweet potato fries were the best I have had in a long time, wish they gave more. As we were sitting there it began to get more packed with hockey fans. My fiance and I came here to grab a quick bite before a concert at the nearby nationwide arena. It was very very busy when we got there so we put our name down. They actually quoted us 50 minutes but ended up being closer to 15, so that's was good. Once we were seated our server came by quickly and got us started with drinks. They highly recommended the wings with house made sauce and the perogies. We couldn't resist so we had to try the wings. For my entree I got the crispy chicken sandwich with perogies on the side. While my fiance got the traditional burger and fries The wings were a solid 10/10. They were extremely juice and full of flavor. I loved that they were grilled and the house made sauce was heavenly. The chicken sandwich was meh. For as much as it cost I don't feel like you get that big of a burger. They also use a bun that reminds me of school lunch. It wasn't really that crispy and I've had way better else where. My fiance felt the same way, though I did think his burger was better than mine. The perogies were okay too. I enjoyed my time a Barley's. I got there at 5:30pm on a Friday prior to a Blue Jackets game, and there were others who had that same idea given the convenient walk to Nationwide Arena. Would definitely not get again. To conclude we decided on a lava cake for desert (not pictured). The actual cake was doughy, no real molten center. It was topped off with a little bit of whipped cream and a cherry for $14. Would 1000% not get this again. Overall very disappointed and I wouldn't come back. Service was good. The waiter was on it. For some reason this place never resonates with me as a brewery. I read it more so as a bar & restaurant that happens to serve craft beer. We came in most recently as a stop for dinner prior to a show at Kemba Live. The place was packed but they were able to find us a spot quite quickly. Service was FAST and the hostess and our waiter were both very kind and attentive. My problem with Barley's lies with the food and beverage. The peer cut the mustard for me. This could just be a me problem, my husband liked his. What we DID both agree on was that the food prices were outrageous. We decided to split the chicken tender entree along with a side of sauerkraut balls. Both arrived promptly and piping hot. The issue we had was with an entree of chicken tenders and fries costing $16, when the "tenders" were actually just 8 chicken nuggets placed around the rim of the plate with a pile of fries in the middle. I am NOT here to not chicken nuggets -- we are on team chicken nuggets. What I can't get on board with is charging people $16 for what we got. The fries were good and flavorful. The sauerkraut balls lacked flavor in my opinion -- as if they rinsed off all the brine and then just fried the sad flavorless cabbage. I'm polish so when you tell me there is sauerkraut, i want to taste sauerkraut. All in all not a place i'd likely eat again, but worth stopping by to grab a beer! read more

Food was delicious!! Waitress could have cared less about us or our table.. We had 6 people so she knew she was going to get 20% gratuity. Which was surprising cause usually it's for a table of 8. I also got sweet potato fries which were very good too. They had specials that went along with the Arnold classic, which was this weekend and it provided great options such as big portions of grilled chicken and a double burger (which was huge and delicious according to my son). Barley's Brewing Co is conveniently across the street from the convention center so was the perfect spot for lunch. I enjoyed looking at the vintage interior and the wood bar with mirrors is absolutely gorgeous! The sauerkraut balls with yummy sauce were a great starter. My husband's Brew Burger with sweet potato fries was delicious and cooked perfectly. I had a bowl of the soup of the day, which was chicken corn chowder which was thick, warm and tasty. There is a good selection of beer on tap and my husband enjoyed the Scottish ale. Our server Hannah gave us great service and her fun, friendly personality just shines through!
