This was the second time dining at Surve. We would go more but it's always busy and they don't take reservations. I met a friend after work at 4:30 and we sat in the bar area, which has several high tops and bar seating, a nice, comfortable ambiance The service was immediate and very attentive. The server told us the chicken is local, fresh and organic. She also said all their dressings and sauces are made in-house. The beers are between $3-5 and the cocktails are $10-12, which is so reasonable for drinks. I ordered the buffalo chicken sliders which came with 1 side. It came with 3 little sandwiches and was only $12. I'm excited to try some other meals at Surve!

Arrived around 3 PM on a Saturday for a party of 2. A few other patrons in the restaurant but otherwise not very busy. We were quickly greeted and explained how the setup works. One side (near the door) you place your order at the counter, grab your food, and seat yourself. The other side has a few tables and a bar top that's tended by a waitress. We chose to sit at the bar top and again were quickly greeted by the bartender. She got us menus and took our drink orders. We both had the caesar salad and fries. The place was very clean, beautifully lit and felt good to be in. The food was delicious with even who I'm assuming was the manager checked in to ensure everything was okay. All the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Loved the vibe and flavor of everything!

I was expecting more from the reviews, the people are nice the place is beautiful but the food was not that up to par. The only thing good was the salmon but that had multiple bones in it. The brussel sprouts weren't cooked enough and not prepped, the coleslaw had so much vinegar and was so watery I could barely eat it, I put a ton of salt and pepper on it. My bfs burger he enjoyed because how much can you mess that up? And some fries. Probably won't be back but it was a good try, and the gf options are just basic food options like baked potato but not until 4, proteins and such nothing too spectacular and of course salads that you add protein to. Try if you would like but eh

Wow what a Jewel in Sunbury. We love to explore new places and happened to be in the area shopping (outlet Mall) Anyone in the area should definitely drive a couple miles down to visit this delicious place!! It's has a fresh modern Farm to table vibe. There are two sides. We tried the order/self serve section. The ladies working there were super friendly and attentive. We both got chili cheeseburgers with brussel sprouts.... Bussin!!!

We had a great experience at Surve! We're local to the area and had driven by a bunch of times - it always smelled so good when we passed by and we knew we had to give it a try. We stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. The place is bright and welcoming and our bartender was so friendly. We had the cheese curds for an appetizer. I think I could have eaten two more plates of them - they were so delicious! For our mains I had the chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the cheeseburger. We both enjoyed our meals and had a really lovely time. We look forward to visiting Surve again soon.

Quit searching... directly come to this fantastic restaurant. Its located in north portion of Sunbury's town square. Lots of free street parking. You will be welcomed by their staff and made to feel like you are a regular even if its your first time in or haven't been there for a while (like us) . There are two options for seating. One half of the restaurant has a walk up ordering counter and then you go sit. The bar side has 4 full service tables and 10 seats at their bar... (which we always choose to sit at). If you come at night and you will get an amazing bar keep named Amy- who makes a killer margarita. We started with deviled eggs. Omg. Yum. We then ordered the cajan chicken sandwich with Brussels and the hubby added broccoli to his. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and was thick and tender. They use a great bun that didnt over take the sandwich. I added avocado which was super fresh and ripe, plus they gave a generous amount to my sandwich. I was very impressed. We ended the meal with key lime pie. The pie was very good and had probably the best crust I've had since Boca Grande , FL -- where key lime pie rules.

That made me laugh. The prices on food seemed very reasonable. 24 wings for $22. $8 bucks for a burger. We ordered wings.... I wish I had ordered a burger. The wings came out wet... which I like. I like more sauce on wings. However, these seemed super duper salty - I could only eat three. I have never hated wings... I hated these. My husband... oddly, he didn't mind them. In fact, he rather liked them. So maybe it's just a personal preference type of thing. I kept trying to eat them. The first one I ate all of. Went "ooooh thats so salty". Tried a few more and each time I could eat less and less of the wing. I stopped at four as by wing three and four, they were hardly eaten. Noooooo thank you. I think the salt is in the sauce. There is no escaping it. However, I would come back... but just to drink, well maybe a burger! Its truly a great bar with good staff

The Pub on Broadway, Granville, Ohio…read more Visiting the Maple Grove cemetery for holiday reflections after a few years away, I was happy to find that a nearby Granville institution was alive and well. The Pub on Broadway has been a staple since 2005, with good reason. The bar is a work of art, with warm hardwood features and a great selection of options. The menu is diverse, including Brussels sprouts topped with hot honey ($5), a bourbon-bacon burger made with sauteed mushrooms & onions, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, house-made bourbon sauce, and provolone, $19), a Pub-made mac & cheese entrée (house-made five cheese blend sauce, cavatappi pasta, topped with shredded cheddar-jack, served with toasted focaccia bread, $17), a full pizza menu, and a kids' menu with hot dogs, grilled cheese, buttered noodles, and chicken tenders ($7-8). I was moderately hungry, so I ordered a cup of chili ($7) and a side of battered fries ($5), along with a cider and bourbon boilermaker. Service was excellent, there was no waiting for a table around noon, and both selections came out piping hot. The chili was true comfort food, and the sandwich was sized so that I could have the second half the following day. The seating is spacious, sound level permits a conversation at normal levels, and the restroom was well-maintained and clean. It's good to know that the community supports this long-time favorite.

Between pool table hogging and straight up saying we would not be given a turn even if we put quarters down, and a different regular walking up to us and telling us point blank that the owner/bartenders are racist and do not want us playing rnb or hiphop music on the touch tunes - this place was extremely uncomfortable and had bad vibes. The bartender was seemingly drunk by the end of the night and severely over worked, completely ignoring some of my friends who arrived later. Also she just let the extremely drunk regulars physically climb all over the bar, and kept giving them drinks. If you want creepy old drunk white men to comment on your overpriced darts game this is the place. The owner apparently hates POC so much they refuse to have any rnb or hiphop songs on the Touch Tunes - which I didn't know you could even do. We checked because we wanted to put on some usher but there was like no songs. No modern music either. Just some trash country songs, one in particular stood out to me as a man repeatedly sang how his girl rocks a beer gut. Yes that is a real song that played through without getting skipped. My girlfriend was told "I'm not saying you guys aren't welcome here but it's usually just us after midnight so..." referring to herself and other regulars. Again these people approached us every time. The drinks were cheap, thats all I can say good about this place. I don't drink and my friends each only had 1 drink considering you couldn't flag the bartender down, so we were definitely not drunk nor rowdy. We quite literally kept to ourselves, out of the way, and these people approached us. We were also told "people in Gahanna are just not very welcoming of others...". Excuse me? We are very familiar with the Gahanna area, some of us work/live here. Gahanna is very diverse and has some really cool and NOT racist spots. They were very clearly trying to get us to leave. We came to watch the nuggets v wolves game, and play some darts and pool, but definitely wont be back. And will warn any POC to steer clear of this bar. May as well have a sign saying "Miserable Middle Aged White People Only" on the front if you hate young POC so much.
