Buffalo wings. Really big. Very good.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Went here with a group of 7. Our table was almost ready when we got there. Nice. Very nice to not need to wait and wait. We appreciated that. We started out with drinks and appetizers. The mixed drinks were weak. I wouldn't order a cocktail here again. i would stick with beer. They did offer a free shot to the drinks but it should come not watery. So that was a bummer. Now the appetizers were a hit! Pepperoni chips came in a big basket. Plenty to share among 7 ppl. Had a dipping sauce that was rather good. We a reuben pizza which was excellent. For dinner most people ordered a hamburger of some type. All came out huge! Everyone seemed to love them. I ordered french fries and a Caesar salad. The salad was good but not super special however the fries.... Just so delicious. Yum We each really liked our trip in. Would return!

Great dinner once again! We started with the fried banana peppers with the ranch dip. Outstanding flavor and crunch! I had the Son of Thurmandelphia. A great cheese steak, tender beef, cheese and fresh veggies. Great sandwich, comes with kettle chips. I ordered the 9" and had to take half of it home. My wife ordered the Junior Johnny Burger and had them replace the chips with fries. She said the burger was awesome!

Italian sub profile...an inch plus of meat!

Son and I stopped on for lunch to get a quick lunch. Ordered the Italian sub and a Blazin' burger...served hot, lots of meat and very tasty! I got the 7" sub and took half of it home...reheated nicely in microwave a couple of days later. Son enjoyed the Tabasco and pepper cheese...good heat but not overwhelming...though he likes a good bit of heat. No part of that sandwich left the restaurant! Fries okay. Immediate seating (midweek; 1:30 arrival). Prompt service; drinks refilled without asking.

Finally made it to the Son of Thurman in Delaware, OH. We order the Onion Straws for an appetizer and they were absolutely Amazing. I decided to order the Thurmanator and it's was the biggest burger I've ever ordered and it tasted absolutely fantastic. The service was quick and attentive as well. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, we will definitely be back!

Their BLTs are insane. Their burgers are HUGE. Their onions straws were a big hit with our table. I was a fan that they had a full bar as I was on vacation. Their pizza is not great, do not go for that. But that was my fault ordering a pizza at a burger joint. The wait staff is friendly. The inside area is quite dark and has a very factory, unfinished feel to it. The patrons ranged from families with young kids to bikers to teens to cute elderly couples. It really is a place for everyone. The bathrooms were pretty clean. There is street parking available, you might have to drive around a few blocks to find it, Just make sure someone knows how to parallel park!

So glad they now have 1/3 lb burger option, which is plenty for me. Always cooked to order, fresh and tasty. Many burger combination to try. Onion rings and house made chips are both good. Service was good, constant refills, but waitstaff did forget to put our order of Ruben balls in, but once we figured it out, we decided we didn't need them.

If you're a local to central OH you already know, but if you aren't and you are finding this spot on Yelp understand that Son of Thurman lives up to the hype. Absolutely epic burgers, delicious French fries, and the fried pepperoni is like no other. Being a local that moved away, Son of Thurman is a must stop for us. If you are cruising through looking for an amazing burger, this is your spot.

Easy parking, nice huge establishment. Service was friendly and quick. This is typical bar food...tho was hoping for more, given the hype. They are known for their burgers and wings. We had the Mushroom, which was good. .nothing exciting, but still good. The whole winga are huge and quite tasty, perfectly fried and still juicy. The son of thurmandelphia was also a good sub, nothing spectacular, but good. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were big. For a good and quick meal, this iconic place can be a good choice.

We ordered to-go and the wait time was only about 10 minutes, which was impressive. We got smash burgers, fries, and nuggets, and all of it hit. Burgers were juicy and flavorful, fries were solid, and the nuggets were a surprise favorite. Highly recommend if you're passing through. We'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu next time!

The place is tiny, the sign is tiny, you drive a little faster, you will be like me, completely missed The parking also a little weird, I believe there 3 parking spots at the front, and 2 more parking spots on the side of the building, that's it, this is not a place you want to dine in, even tho there's couple of small tables inside, more of to go place. Now I'm not sure if they will take your order at the counter, there is a tv screen with the menu on there, and on the right hand corner there is a bar code you can scan on your phone and order it online, that's what I did I ordered the double cheese burger for $11, topping I input all on side. 6 wings for $9 and the small waffle fries for $3.75 Total came out around $24, they add another $1.25 for credit card charges, total over $25 and change Couple minutes later, the guy came out and told me there is no topping included, each topping is additional charge. I'm like wha???? So lettuces, tomatoes, onions, all additional charges on each. Now it become expensive, really expensive The burger not big But it is above average good Wing is typical like other places, nothing special Fries is good Is not like is so good when it comes to burger, this will be the first place that pop up in my head. I probably won't be back, just way over price in my opinion, and charging additional for topping is ridiculous, a good burger should be including lettuce, tomato's and onions. Reasons giving it 4 stars The burger is above average Fries is good Wings is okay Couple guys behind the counter are nice

Backstretch is super casual (given Ohio Wesleyan is nearby - its almost a college/town bar) but great to come in a sit at the bar or one of their booths. Servers are friendly, you can watch the cooks prepare your food, and they have a full bar. Note they dont have many draft beer options, but servers tried hard to get us something we liked. Food here is fresh off the grill and tastes like home cooked food - from their Reuben(which was amazing) to Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (has kick but so good) - you cant go wrong. This time we added Tots, Mac and Cheese, and the Deviled eggs (most sandwiches are served with a deviled egg - tasty). We also tried Jacobi recommendation of Hencock Tots - wing sauce - cheese and bacon. Should have just made that my meal. Amazing. They dont take reservations but unless there is an event in downtown, you can usually walk in for dinner. This was our third visit in 60 days! Ready to go back - thanks Jacobi for a fun night and see you all soon.

Great presentation but fell slightly short of more gimmick than "chef inspired." Burger just wasn't anything special for a $20 burger. Thurman across the street is probably a better choice. I had a hard time deciding what to order; the burger seemed popular, but I went with the fried chicken. Presentation was beautiful but ....For my taste, both the chicken and the pickled fries were a bit too salty, and the cocktail didn't quite hit the mark for me. I ended up taking the meal home because I really don't like wasting food--might repurpose the chicken for breakfast. Overall, I do wonder if the owners regularly taste the food themselves; it would be great if the balance of flavors was revisited. The space and service are lovely, and with a few tweaks, the food could really shine.

Our server, Tony, deserves his own fan club. He was the perfect combination of kind, attentive, and genuinely funny--the type of person who could probably convince you to order a shoe if it came with the chef's balsamic reduction. Speaking of which, I had the filet medallions with said reduction, and let me just say: if I could marry a sauce, this would be "the one." My friend ordered the scallops with risotto, and she ate every last grain of rice like she was guarding treasure. Special shoutout to Matt, the manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate my many food allergies without making me feel like "that" customer. Instead, he treated it like a fun culinary puzzle to solve. Food? Phenomenal! Service? Flawless! Atmosphere? Just the right mix of cool and comfortable. Regrets?
