The bread itself also had an alcohol taste to it- maybe it's the batch as the last time I had it I couldn't taste it but this time I may not pass a breathilizer from it alone I had the RBW Burger and the aioli was tasty. The pickles were unlike any I've had before- like the thing between a pickle and a cucumber. The wait staff were nice! The volume was pretty standard for a bar. Absolutely love this place! Great food, clean, great employees! We started with their sweet potato fries, they were hot and crunchy, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and drizzled with caramel. We walked into Restoration in the midst of a fun filled trivia night. Found a table in the back. We were waited on by Beth, a lovely server. I was craving brewery food and was in the area so I decided to try this place. The inside was clean and looked like the typical sports bar/brewery atmosphere. We were seated immediately and the servers were very nice. They use QR code menus, and have four of them for food and drinks, which was very frustrating. Their own brewed drinks were very good. We ordered the smash burger and chicken BLT, and the time it took to make them felt like forever. And this was with only two other tables being served. My smash burger wasn't terrible but wasn't great either. The patty was on the dry side and so were the fries, but the flavor wasn't bad. My party enjoyed the chicken sandwich. I've eaten at Restoration many times. The food is great, service is good, and it's got a good selection of their craft beer. But, unfortunately, tonight the experience was a bust. I had a friend in from out of town and after my telling him about Restoration over the past few weeks, he was up for a nice dinner and a few beers. Going to make this one quick. Nice "old" style decor mixed with some more modern style. Service was fine and attentive. We were in and out in between baseball games, so didn't have much time to be there. Both of us got their saucy nugs. A medium order was plenty for each of us. Went in on a Saturday night this weekend and was surprised and pleased that they had a live stand-up comedy show going on. Being that we're not into Buckeye football, us non-fans need fun places to hang too during the game! Not to say this place isn't buckeye-friendly, but it was cool to find something else going on. I had a flight of 3 IPAs and a sour, I liked them all. They had wine for my wife, which is very helpful! We tried the nachos and "wings" because it is just so DAMN cool that we can order vegetarian crumbles on the nachos and get scratch-made veggie wings, which gives us plenty of options as vegetarians and unique flavors I wouldn't have expected in a brewery. Came here today for lunch with my mom for Mother's Day. We were the only ones in there for about 45 minutes then they started to get busy for a lunch crowd. The service was great we sat at the bar. We ordered the pretzel bread for an appetizer and then I ordered the chicken BLT and mom ordered the turkey wrap. We both got chips as our side. Everything was delicious!! When I first arrived at Restoration Brew Works, I thought it was going to be hard to find a parking spot as North Sandusky Street was packed. Good news... they have a large parking lot behind the building that has plenty of spaces. The restaurant / brewery has a cool look to it. The brick walls and artwork throughout the building add to the cool vibe. I had the Pretzel Bread for an appetizer. This dish has a nice sized piece of house-made pretzel bread, lightly salted, served with RBW ale cheese & house honey mustard. The house honey mustard was soooo good. For my main dish, I had the Tripel Judgement Burger made to order with Lindy beer-breaded deep-fried mac-n- cheese, pepper-jack, candied bacon, onion straws, house- made Carolina slaw & Carolina sauce. The burger was absolutely delicious. The bacon was off the charts good. I loved the food, the service and decor at this really cool place. This was a weird experience... Wifie and I were looking to try a new place for dinner in Delaware so we figured we would try Restoration Brew Worx. We eat out a lot but this was a really experience for us. I got to start out with the good points of our visit. The interior of the restaurant is really cool. The pretzel bread is awesome. The hamburger was good. Wifie had the Italian Grinder with the chips which she liked the chips better than the sandwich. What made the experience weird was the fact that everytime someone opened the door the whole front of the restaurant dropped 30 degrees so you need to were your coat. The first table that We got sat down at was further inside the resturant but a waitress rudely made us move closer to the door - apparently the local high school girls basketball team was coming in to sit there. The service was good until the basketball team arrived and if you were not part of that group you got ignored. Really, not impressed with the experience or the food. read more

We beat the rush. Beer - the beer was good. We were non-denominational in our styles. All the beers were pretty good. Food - all in my party enjoyed their food. I had the special (money dogs). We keep coming back to this place, it's that good! Once we found out that the band Aeir was going to be playing there on Friday night we knew we had to get there early. This place has great food and beer. I ended up getting the pork sliders with some chips and the new beer that the band debuted called Aeir. I've had the burgers there before and they are delicious! Huge, but very good! By the time the band started to play, this place was packed! Keep in mind that Restoration does not have a lot of room to begin with, but they made it work, both the band and the staff. Stopped in for lunch today but what brought us in was a burger we saw on yelp. The triple judgement burger..a burger that was topped with Mac and cheese, bacon and slaw. But, we were told it was no longer on the menu.After looking at reviews they were posts from months ago. So we started with the pretzel bread appetizer.. Wow!! The bread tasted nothing like a pretzel but so tasty, comes out nice and warm with a beer cheese to die for and a honey mustard as well.. What an awesome little brewery in Delaware! We were going around town getting stamps for our Ale Trail book and this was our first stop. We were excited to find a seat since it looked pretty packed on the outside and there was a large group of people waiting to get in. We were immediately seated at the bar and were greeted by our bar keep. I ordered a local brew and saw chorizo tots on the menu. If you know me by now, if there is any menu item with the word "Chorizo" on it, i'm going to get it. The beer was super smooth, it was a dunkel and I ended up getting the $75 brewworks growler on my way out! The tots were super crispy and there was a ton of chorizo, cheese, and other toppings on them. Pretty good food. I wasn't crazy for the beer, but i did enjoy their golden ale. We ordered the hammy sammy, tri-tip, and grilled cheese cheeseburger. Restoration is a good brewery. It's in an old building in downtown Delaware. The beer list has a few made by them. It's a small brewery. They don't have the means to expand into a large place. I had the Peach Cobbler. It's one of their newer beers, and it was pretty good. This is about $5 for a pint. It doesn't have the long list of drafts. The dining room had a few tables. It seemed like there was no room. They have open seating at the bar so there's no wait. Come hungry. It has food on the menu. There's also Mohio Pizza right there. read more

I got a flight of four beers for $7 (which is great), but didn't love the second one and absolutely hated the last two. I told my server I didn't like the two and was bummed out, he laughed, took the paddle, and left. He also disappeared for quite some time and I had to chase him down to give him my credit card. I can't believe this was my first time at Restoration Brew Worx! A restaurant I normally walk by and never think to pick, until...one day I saw some of the food that patrons were enjoying on the patio. It looked amazing and I had to try it for myself. It was amazing! I got the Brewmaster's Tri Tip sandwich. From the first bite to the end, it was full of flavor, juicy, and tender. It has green chili's in it to add a bit of tang with the horseradish aioli kick. The grilled cheese looked good as well, and will be one I try next time. The restaurant is beautiful inside. I love the wood decor and high ceilings. They sell wood signs from local artists. It is fun to sit and read all the signs why you are waiting on your food. They also have some outdoor seating to watch goings on in downtown Delaware. I am glad I found this gem, and can't wait to go back! read more

I met up with a friend at the Delaware Car Show today, and the girls picked Restoration Brew Worx for lunch based on their current Yelp rating of 4 stars. I am happy to report that they earned all 4 of them, and more. Every restaurant in Delaware was packed all afternoon because of the show, so this was definitely a stress test. The first place we tried failed before we even got a table, but the Brew Worx folks got us seated and served in a friendly and efficient way. We skipped the beer this time because we were driving our classics around hundreds of other expensive cars while pedestrians clogged the street, but the beer menu looks great. I'll definitely go back for a draft sometime. The girls and I all had burgers, and we appreciated that they came in 6, 12, and 18 oz. sizes to suit your appetite. The girls got basic 6 oz. cheeseburgers, and I went with a Black & Blue Smash Burger. We all liked what we ordered - pretty good little burgers, and nice fresh cut fries. My buddy wasn't too hungry, so he just ordered a medium order of their "Saucy Nugs". These are white meat chicken pieces that are lightly dusted and fried, then tossed in your choice of sauce. He went with honey siracha, and he raved about them. I can definitely see myself heading back for some in their "hot+" sauce with a side of tots. I also saw some pretty awesome looking wings pass by! Anyway, the service under fire was great, the food was great, and the place was clean. A solid 5! read more
