What a great place for Greek in Delaware... We were looking for some place different to eat and found OPA grill. The place has a nice vibe and friendly atmosphere. The service was great. I had the traditional gyro and fries which was very good. Wifie had their salad which she loved. I would recommend them as as a place for lunch or dinner in Delaware.

Their new location is fantastic and has a huge upstairs bar area. Best bourbon selection I have seen outside of Kentucky and the Mediterranean based food is pretty good as well! A must stop if you are in the area!!

Stopped to see the "large bourbon collection" that people talked about!! We were blown away by the number of bourbons they had and the knowledge of our bartender, Brandi. I can't imagine anyone coming here and not being able to find something they like. We also got to speak with the owner. Very nice guy There are MANY bottles made just for this establishment by MANY high end distributors! Give it a try!! The ambiance is nice, it's a small place, but they are moving to a new place soon and it will be larger We had the avocado hummus and it was really good. If you are a bourbon lover, or newly trying bourbon - GO!!! They will help you if you are new

I have drove by this place a million times and finally stopped in. The ladies that took care of us were very nice, professional and quickly took care of us. It's one of the coolest little taverns I've been in, they have more bourbon and other liquors than your average small place. The food was outstanding, we started with the calamari platter. It was lightly breaded and came with a nice flavorful horseradishy dip. I had the traditional gyro which was very flavorful and packed with veggies and my wife had the falafel plate.

The best bourbon selection I've ever seen outside of Kentucky.... And the food is very good too!

Great Gyro and Greek salad. Excellent friendly accommodating welcoming staff. The longest bar that I have seen in Ohio. Good selection of beer and spirits.

My friend in Delaware recommend this place for both the Greek food, and the bourbon selection. Boyf and I went on a Sat. night, but early enough we got 2 of the remaining bar seats. The staff was great, especially the bartender, who was just the right level of snarky. I had the Perfect Manhattan (actually two). Boyf sampled bourbons he had never had before. We started with the Avocado Hummus plate. Loved. I ordered the Chicken Gyro Platter, which was as perfect as the manhattans. Chicken with rice, salad, and hand-cut fries, along with the delicious white sauce. Boyf ordered the mussels and really enjoyed them. We will definitely come back. We had a nice time.

This peanut butter espresso martini is absolutely incredible!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, but the drink was simply phenomenal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service, good food, and delicious drinks.

We went on Wednesday nite for a late dinner. We aren't too familiar with Delaware's parking options and had a hard time, but we found a spot. This is a nice hip, relaxing place with outdoor seating. We sat inside and amazed at all the bourbon selection! The waiter was very engaging and discussed some. We got an appetizer and it was huge. There were three of us and it would have been enough for four. The drinks were good, and we had two rounds. The food was amazing, great gyros and Fresh cut fries!!We will go back and hope to sit outside next time. Very nice atmosphere, very friendly approachable server.

After browsing some shops and the farmer market, we stopped by Opa Grill & Tavern for lunch. Even though I do not drink, I need to mention their impressive display of whiskey and bourbon from an enormous selection. They have a mix of Greek and American menu items. I got myself a Seafood Pasta with Tomato Basil sauce. I do like the seasoning and a mix of variety of seafood being incorporate into the pasta. Also, love the saucy pasta dish and great to dip in the pita bread come along side.

Today was my first time eating here even after living in Delaware for awhile. My only regret about it is that I had not gone sooner. The gyro was amazing And so were the fries. I cannot wait to go back! Service and food were both great. As a bonus they have daily specials!

And the building and restaurant has a cool history as being one of the oldest in the state. My server Ian was cool as was the rest of the staff I encounter. It s nice to see younger people with goals who take pride in where they work. He recommended the grilled sirloin which was good: A simple nice grilled steak with great char marks and seasoning. The potato was okay, and I couldn't tell if it was from a box or they peeled them, but they were tasty and a nice large portion. It just needed butter which they brought me. The Caesar salad was very good, and I am picky about both salads and dressings... I could have even eaten more of that! I am glad they are preserving it and its legacy. I am also glad they are open on Monday when many of their competitors in Delaware are NOT! When I first thought of Bunns, I thought of old people, and this clearly contemporary with an updated menu! They even have Jell-O! I wiIll definitely return and recommend it to anyone who asks me for a good place to eat... Much appreciated.

Our server, Tony, deserves his own fan club. He was the perfect combination of kind, attentive, and genuinely funny--the type of person who could probably convince you to order a shoe if it came with the chef's balsamic reduction. Speaking of which, I had the filet medallions with said reduction, and let me just say: if I could marry a sauce, this would be "the one." My friend ordered the scallops with risotto, and she ate every last grain of rice like she was guarding treasure. Special shoutout to Matt, the manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate my many food allergies without making me feel like "that" customer. Instead, he treated it like a fun culinary puzzle to solve. Food? Phenomenal! Service? Flawless! Atmosphere? Just the right mix of cool and comfortable. Regrets? I enjoyed the French omelette and the dressing on the side salad was probably my favorite part! My mom loved the smash burger and the waffle fries were amazing and crunchy. My dad enjoyed the country fried steak with egg and also liked the fries. My brother ordered the best out of all of us! The shakshouka was to die for! Definitely give that a try if you have a chance. Servers are friendly, you can watch the cooks prepare your food, and they have a full bar. Note they dont have many draft beer options, but servers tried hard to get us something we liked. Food here is fresh off the grill and tastes like home cooked food - from their Reuben(which was amazing) to Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (has kick but so good) - you cant go wrong. We also tried Jacobi recommendation of Hencock Tots - wing sauce - cheese and bacon. Should have just made that my meal. Amazing. It's piled high with shredded brisket and rib meat, all mixed in their BBQ sauce, then topped with housemade pickles and crispy onion straws on a soft bun. It's messy in the best possible way. Smoky, saucy, savory -- every bite delivered. I made it a combo and added fresh-cut French fries and an Arnold Palmer (half lemonade, half iced tea). The fries came out piping hot and clearly fresh from the fryer -- crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Exactly what you want. The Arnold Palmer was refreshing and balanced, not overly sweet, which paired perfectly with all that BBQ goodness. One thing I really appreciate here is the sauce bar. There's a variety of BBQ sauces available so you can customize every bite to your liking -- sweet, smoky, spicy, tangy -- whatever mood you're in. And bonus: the housemade pickles are free for the asking. If you're a pickle fan like me, that's a win. Overall, tasty sandwich, hot fresh fries, solid drink, and plenty of sauce options to make it your own.
