My deconstructed sandwich.

I've been visiting Coaches for decades. I was disappointed for the first time tonight. The half Dominic's sub was severely lacking. Barely any meat. No cheese. Limp lettuce. A beautiful slice of tomato.

Garlic wing, fries and a tasty beverage.

Ten garlic wings, order of fries and a tasty beverage. Very friendly staff, good food, and quick service what more can you ask for? Nice atmosphere, music playing in the background, but not too loud that you can't have a conversation they also have a Nice patio.

This is one of my friends' favorite stops for trivia on Wednesday nights and we've been coming for about four years. It's your standard divey sports bar, but I've always found it clean and the service attentive. There are booths, tables, a large bar in the center, and a pool table. They have TV screens for spirts viewing everywhere you look - large ones around the bar and some outer walls, and individual ones at each booth. They have sound for whatever major game is playing. There's a good sports vibe with caricatures of famous coaches on the walls. It's enough memorabilia without being overkill or dusty. The food is standard bar food. A lot of stuff is deep fried, but it's hand-breaded, and the portion sizes are very large. It's not gourmet, but it's great food for watching sports which is its intent. It's also very reasonably priced and considerably cheaper than Buffalo Wild Wings which is in the same complex. I always get the fried green beans, my friends love the fish and chips (including my British friend), and we tend to get whatever daily dessert they are serving. We just found out they have entree lunch cards, so get that if you plan on coming more frequently!

We come to this place all the time over the years I have to say that this places service is going down that tube. Table was not clean and when to have the table cleaner the waitress that obviously did not want to be here cleans only half of the table. We ordered two bud lights and decided not to eat here anymore. This same waitress has the worst personal skills and is rude. Definitely should not be in customer service. Maybe it is this specific server but with many other choices, definitely do not need to be where we are not appreciated. When we decided to leave and go somewhere else, the waitress came over and apologized for her behavior. We ended up staying and she was a completely new person - friendly and attentive. I totally appreciated her coming to that table and offering apology. It takes a good person to do this - thank you. BTW, the food is good as usual. Will come back.

Reuben Roll at Coach's.

Moved here in January 2022. Coach's is near my home. Reliably good food and fair pricing. More than fair, really. This is today's special: Reuben Roll. Egg roll case with diced corned beef and Swiss cheese. Side of thousand island dressing or sub some hot sauce for a spicy treat. $6 or one, $10 for two. Very filling and not greasy at all.

They close whenever they decide there aren't enough people. Can't be relied on to keep stated hours.

Food was good but service was terrible. Waiter watched more football that he served. 20 minutes to get a drink, too long.

WORST experience I've ever had from a server. Anna was rude, forgot to put my order in, and barely apologized. I'll NEVER be back.

Seating was…read moredifficult to find, but eventually my wife and I were able to find two bar seats where we could see first hand what an efficient front-of-the-house operation they have. The bar tenders, bar runners and wait staff were moving 80 miles per hour to serve their customers. Unfortunately, the back-of-the-house kitchen struggled to meet the demands of the public's apparently ravenous appetites. Our chicken nachos order took over an hour to arrive. (For what's it's worth, they tasted good when we eventually got them, but we starving to the point that we considered nearby White Castle and Taco Bell as appealing alternatives, so our judgement in that state was perhaps compromised.) The saving grace in that scenario was our bartender Leah who was doing the MOST (in a good way) on an injured knee. She communicated well with us and comped some of our items due to the excessive wait - a most appreciated gesture. On less crowded/themed evenings, there's an abundance of TVs and food/drink specials for your sports viewing pleasure.

It does get busy on weekend late afternoon & nights, but I have rarely found seating to be an issue even at those times. Great variety of well prepared food, well stocked bar with some good premium selections available. This is not just any sports bar, they do kick it up a notch. The food is prepared quickly even when the place is busy and is well presented at the table. Staff are attentive and my experience has been that they regularly check back to "see how you're doing." There is a private room available for reservation, which does come with some minimum requirements - check those out online or with staff on site.

It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall/dive bar, which honestly, is my favorite. I'm much more of a laid back person than the high-end bars downtown or the Short North. They have karaoke on Thursday's and it gets pretty busy! The vibe was awesome, people cheering for others even if they weren't American Idol-level. A close friend of mine MC's for it and uses a website that has almost 40k songs and you can reserve your spot and choose your song from it. It's pretty awesome not to lug those huge song books around. Our bartender Ashley was so sweet and attentive, sang some songs (she has a great voice) and worked really hard to keep everyone happy. Please know, there is no kitchen. However, they ordered pizza for everyone. Go up and grab a drink from Ashley! You can tell she enjoys her job!

The doors were open (nice day) but it was still dark and smelled like smoke. There's darts and pool. There may have been food options but I didn't stay long enough to try them.
