Woody, warm, some TVs with games playing. Plenty of tables, and another room in the back so more room than you might think. Plus, it looks like you can go upstairs. I think the bartender was by himself, so I tried to make it a little easier on him. But he was doing a good job keeping up, with food and drinks. Super friendly and helpful. There's a lot of interesting stuff on the menu, but I knew I wanted pierogi, and then I saw the garlic green beans and went for them. I'm glad I did. They came out perfectly cooked, not overdone, with garlic, lemon juice, and some blue cheese dressing on the side. Very good. The pierogies were excellent. I don't think they make them here, but they fry them up well here, with onions, mushrooms, and sour cream on the side. Very, very good comfort food. All for like $12 total. I only got four pierogi, but they were big and there were plenty of green beans. Get more pierogi if you're hungry. But seriously, even with a substantial tip I was out of there for well under $20 and full. Definitely will be back.

Some times, they are there, your drinks are full, your food is fresh - and then another they take your order and they come at the end asking if you want a refill when you've been waiting 20 minutes to say the pizza is raw as fuck. Bonus: they did comp the pizza, at least. But overall, in terms of "neighborhood bars"? Chubby's leaves a LOT to be desired. Come drink out of dirty glassware (when you see bubbles along the inside of the glass - it's not clean), eat some burnt food, and question your life choices, only at Chubby's!

Am sure it has it's regulars like most small towns, disappointed we cannot add this to our list. The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the portion was huge--there were more fries than I could finish. They were so good I didn't even need ketchup. Service: I sat at the bar, and the service was excellent. The waitress was friendly, prompt, and attentive throughout my visit. At one point, while the bartender was helping other customers, she noticed I needed napkins and brought them over without me having to ask. It's little things like that that make a difference. Atmosphere: The ambiance was really nice. There were TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a great place to relax and catch a game. They also have outdoor seating available, although I chose to sit inside. The atmosphere was comfortable, welcoming, and somewhere I could easily see myself returning. The burger was cooked a little more medium than I personally prefer, but that's on me because I didn't ask for it to be cooked well done. The burger was still juicy and flavorful.
