I was pleasantly surprised by the RW dinner here last night. I had been here before, for a casual bar food dinner on a cold rainy night after ZooLights. Marlena L and I both enjoyed the food and service amidst Trivia Night. When we chose this place, I had forgotten it is a casual family pizza type restaurant, and it was new to Marlena. The staff did a great job with this special menu. I had made reservations, which felt silly with the seat yourself sign, but then discovered we had a high-top indeed reserved for us. I had the Berry Burrata Salad, Tempura Cod, and Sweet Corn Muffins for my 3 courses for $35. The salad was a bit dry, so I asked for extra Raspberry Vinaigrette. Other than that, it was very good. The arugula, red onion, berries and burrata tasted so fresh. The cod, fries and apple coleslaw were really good. The cod and fries had nice seasoning. The apples in the slaw were a great addition. Really yummy. The corn muffins with honey glaze hit the spot. I nice change for a dessert. I had a Manhattan at the bar while waiting, and a glass of white wine with dinner. Went here and tried it out for the first time. Got the cheesesteak and fries, for appetizers we got the Stromboli bites as well as the loaded fries. The loaded fries were a winner, although eat them quick while they're hot because as they cool down, they lose their crispness and like ability. The Stromboli bites were small and seemed like they were a little bit well done for me, wish I would've taken a picture. My cheesesteak was recommended as one of the better things on the menu, but quite frankly it was a weird taste as well as definitely like pot roast with cheese, whiz, and cheese on it. It wasn't my favorite. I wish I would've gotten a burger. read more

I think the food is pretty good here. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with grilled chicken and I thought it was excellent. I also had the side salad as my side dish and it was very solid. My daughter had the chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potato fries and she really liked that. We will definitely eat here again (we Door Dashed it today). read more

I sat at the bar and enjoyed a pizza. It was on a Sunday afternoon. The bartender was friendly and attentive. There weren't many other patrons other than a few locals. Good for a meal and drinks. read more

First time here and found it to be very nice and friendly staff . Michael , our waiter was very friendly and out going . I had the chicken tortilla soup and it was very good. Big serving . I'm not usually a bar or tavern person but 1801 was nice . It does need a better wine list tho . read more

Staff was so sweet and our food and drinks arrived fast and full of flavor!! The food was amazing and we even got to meet the Chef Will! He was so kind and explained some of the dishes to us, what a wonderful experience he gave us. Must try if you're in the area!! read more

Really yummy food and good beers! The service was great and the bar has a good atmosphere. My kids loved their food and it was friendly to families. Would recommend the sliders! Want to go back to try the pizza next. They have a TON of tvs so can't wait to see it in action for football Saturday and Sundays. read more

Although this is a new location, this place has seasoned bartenders. The food is quite tasty. It has the soul of a food truck, and the appeal of a fine dining restraint, Joe has seemed to developed Unique flair to pizza and wings. The décor is quite sophisticated, and you can have a nice meeting with a friend hear or a great party, The décor makes you want to take pictures here! Not exactly sure how they're still in business. We've tried...like really really tried to frequent this place as it's close by. Gawd damn do they make that hard on you. If you're not a hard core regular or an employee, good luck getting served. And how does an empty restaurant not answer the phone, or have a functioning website? Food is really good. Came here on a weekend around 6pm and place was empty. Started with the whipped ricotta dip and Calabrian chili wings. As others have mentioned the dip is off/subpar at best. Too expensive and way too few bread pieces. The ricotta mix is hot and tasty looking but lacking any clear flavor. The wings had nearly zero flavor but edible. Had to ask for silverware, napkins, drinks that were forgotten, etc despite being empty restaurant. Pizza was pretty tasty though so would recommend that. We won't be coming back anytime soon given the price and atmosphere/service. Multiple tvs though so could be a place to have a drink only if no other options. Definitely not kid friendly as only 3 options for food and nothing for entertainment such as crayons, etc. read more

My husband and I were sitting at the bar of this new place, and we had... Conflicted feelings. As much as I hate to put a business this new down, I feel as if my service was being pushed to the side for the sake of others who frequented it more. i came in while waiting on some chinese food next door. brittney was bar tending. i waited 15 minutes and then i asked her if i could get a drink, she was helpful ish. i ordered a double eagle rare whiskey. the bottle cost 47.99 at the store, she gave me a bill for $38.52. i asked if that was correct and she mentioned that the owner makes the prices. well dearest owner you sir are ripping local people off. i wont be back read more

Amazing experience! 1801 just has a classier atmosphere than other places, while also maintaining a relaxed vibe. I chose to get a burger this time around and it was honestly one of the best burgers I have ever had! It was perfectly done and was a great amount of food. They also have an awesome pizza which I had last time. They offer an option to have hot honey drizzled on it, which I highly recommend. Great beer selection too read more

Looked at the menu online and it seemed like a good idea, but we were fairly disappointed with the meal. Drinks were relatively cheap, but avoided the cocktails due to them seeming way overpriced (~$15 on average). Food came out shockingly fast, but I ordered the Italian Sub and the meat itself was half warm, half fridge cold and the bun was partly burnt. Fries were good. My partner got the chicken parm sub and said it was mediocre and tough. Ambiance was ok, but loud, as we were unknowingly there on trivia night. I always hate leaving a bad review for a newer restaurant, and truly hope its a success, but I think a shrinking/consolidation of the menu could be a welcomed improvement (when we sat down we were handed 3 or 4 separate menus of varying sizes). I ordered carering for an event I was having. I only received 1/4 of my full order that I already paid for. Joe, the manager I worked with is not answering the phone, nor is 1801 tavern answering the phone. thwy handled their business very nastily, terrible customer service, and the food is subpar. I've called multiple days and at different times. Still has not lead to an answered phone call. At this point Joe is a scumbag and a liar. Do not do business with Joe the manager here, or sit and eat at this establishment as they do not handle business in a professional, manner and the inside lacks continuity. Not sure if it wants to be upscale or a sports bar. service by both supervisors is completely unsatisfactory. read more

I have never written a review before, but this experience was so bad, I feel compelled to. Came in for Restaurant Week. Sat down and it took 15 minutes just to get water. Saw the place was a little busy so put in my full meal immediately. I never received my first course, the second course came out and then never saw the waitress again. It felt as though she was completely ignoring us. After waiting an hour and a half, I flagged her down and asked to just pay for our entires since we never got the first course and had no clue how long it would take to get the dessert. Both meals for Restaurant Week were supposed to be 30 dollars a piece, we paid 20 dollars a piece for both entires. These entries were not on the main menu so there was no way to compare the original cost, but I can tell you it was not worth 20 dollars. Had originally asked to speak to a manager when we brought up not receiving our first course, they never came out. An older couple sat next to us and waited 20 minutes for water, ended up walking out! Very disappointed!! read more
