Locked exit door that they do not have a key for. Only one entrance/exit to the public.

Not handicap accessible. Asked if they could unlock the back exit door and was told "they don't have a key and it's a building owner thing." This makes it against fire code to not have 2 exits available. Food was good. Service was slow as other tables received food before us even though they were sat after us.

    Outside. Patio.

Very cool place, very cool building! We were looking for a new place to try out with some friends. This is a place that has been on our list to try so we have it a shot. The building is a super cool big old house. The stairs as you come in a really cool. There is a ton of seating. Several different spaces. They even have a great looking, big patio we will have to try when it's warmer outside. We decided to sit in the bar. They were really busy. I guess they had a private party upstairs that was way bigger than planned. Despite that, we still got gos service. She didn't forget about us. We ordered a few apps for the table to share. Both were really good. One was the fried banana peppers. Haven't seen those many places. Love those. They were really good. The other was the pork waffle fries. Wow. Great combo and delicious! My friend and I couldn't decide between the pierogies and the Ruben. So we each got one and shared. But we're really good. I would get both again. My husband and other friend both got burgers and they both really enjoyed them. We will definitely go back. They had so many things on the menu we wanted to try.

Gresso's is an old house turned (dive) bar. They have lots of TV's and sports memorabilia. The bar area boasts two projector screens on either side with TV's in the middle. If you're planning to watch a game at the bar, I'd recommend getting here early as the space is somewhat limited. However, if you have a group, there are a few rooms with larger gathering spaces to watch games, as well as an outdoor patio area when the weather is warm. They have a full menu, but we tried the fried banana peppers and mozzarella sticks. The banana peppers were pretty spicy, but it might have also just been the Gresso's sauce (think spicy ranch). The mozzarella sticks were really good -- highly recommended. After seeing the other reviews, I'll definitely be trying the pizza next time! Of note, there is small parking lot out back which can be helpful you can't find street parking.

The best service I've had in a bar possibly ever. I was going to a concert at The Big Room and wanted to grab some food beforehand, so I started walking and found Gresso's. It's definitely a bar/pub type of environment when you get inside. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, TVs for games, and the staff was so genuinely kind for my entire visit. They mentioned that they have specials throughout the week. On Mondays, they have $6.99 build your own burgers. On Wednesdays, they have $0.75c wings. Would absolutely go back for the service, the wings, and the fries.

Ok--we got their pizza delivered by a third party platform. Order was on time and the driver was very nice. The order was technically correct ... however, the food was just flat out BAD. The pizza crust/Dough was completely inedible. Super dry, overcooked and legitimately hard as rock. Idk how someone lets this leave their kitchen. We've ordered from here before and it's never been amazing, but this is another story! We want this place to be good and to be able to support local, but they're making it difficult -- make us wanna eat here!

Kind, personable, and genuinely warm exactly the kind of energy that makes a meal feel like more than just a meal. If you've seen The Menu, you know that scene where all anyone really wants is just a perfect, unpretentious burger done right. Thurman's is exactly that. The burger was everything it needed to be no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just a beautifully made sandwich that delivers on every level. The fries? Equally on point. Honestly, I have no notes. None. The beauty of a Saturday afternoon is there were sports on and TVs hanging on the walls. That made the wait easy. Boy do they know their stuff bc it was pretty much one hour to the minute when they called our name and escorted us to our table. We sat in a booth and took in on the collection of various items around the bar that have been gathered through the years and had some laughs at some of it. It was almost like a fun game of eye spy! They came to take our drink order and by the time they returned we were ready to order. We chatted for a bit and our food came out in what seemed to be a good time. I ordered the Patty Melt with onion straws. My husband got the Thurman Burger. We were surprised by its size when they came carrying it out to our table. Believe it or not he ate every single bite. Said it was delicious. Mine was equally as delicious. Maybe not quite as big but that was fine by me. I actually quite enjoyed that they served the 1000 island on the side. It made it way easier to eat. The cheese was nice and gooey. Just perfect. The onion straws were good too. I shared those with my husband. They were actually just as good on their own as they were dipped in any kind of sauce. That's big coming from me bc I love dipping! We got a box for our leftovers and headed out happy with a great first time experience here.

Over the years ordering has gone from calling and placing the order with someone from the restaurant, to just going online and doing it. It's so simple and easy! One of the things that keeps us coming back again and again is the convenience. Over a 15 year time span, I think they have messed up our order maybe 3 times. Not a bad record considering how busy they are all the time. Also, our food is always ready when we arrive. We never have to wait on it and the waitress checks the order before we leave. As for the food, it's always consistently delicious. Their wings, pizzas, subs, quesadillas, burgers, dumpster fries, all fantastic. We always have leftovers and we are never disappointed with our visit. We avoid eating inside mainly because this location, like pretty much every Rooster's location, is always packed. It's a small restaurant with limited tables, so there is usually a wait time. And the parking here is atrocious. They have a small lot for about seven cars and if you miss out on those spots, you have to drive around looking for street parking. Not ideal! As for my hubby and I, we will continue to order from them every Friday, probably until the end of time. The pros far outweigh the cons, so if you are in the mood for delicious food and a lively atmosphere, this is the place to visit!!

It was the perfect spot for a relaxed, drawn-out dinner where we could enjoy drinks, take our time, and really soak it all in. We had a reservation and were seated right away, which set the tone for the night. Everyone ordered cocktails (I've heard the espresso martini is one of their best, even though coffee isn't really my thing), and honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the drink menu. We started with the Meze, which included house-made falafel, tzatziki, hummus, sun-dried tomato couscous, assorted vegetables, and naan--everything was fresh and so flavorful. They also brought out complimentary focaccia right away, which was such a nice touch. For my main, I ordered the seasonal scallops, and I also tried the chicken thighs with fig, goat cheese, asparagus, parmigiano reggiano, and couscous--both were absolutely amazing. I'd go back in a heartbeat just to try more of the menu. We were there for about 2-3 hours, and at no point did we feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing the staff.
