The place has changed inside layout somewhat since last we were there...which was a little after initial opening. We came to listen to a cover band my neighbor recommended: Fya and Sol. They were really good! I was singing to every song! The food and drinks were good also. We both had the fish sandwich with fries. Service was great. This place is a whole in the wall on top of a hill. If you drive past it you will likely miss it. The inside is very clean and lots of decor but not overpowering. The bartender Cherita was so nice with a bubbly personality. She was very helpful in deciding what to get. The food was very good as well was it 10/10 no but the burger had very good flavor and wings were big and cooked to perfection. Would come back. Also free fries Friday.... The whole experience was conceiving. for example, we were offered fresh cut fries or steak fries and when picking one or the other, we paid a difference of two dollars and not told so-had to pay for things like white toast added to our dinner then when offered a double we were charged for two drinks instead of the difference between a double versus a single for a drink. Our bill came to over $600 we question this a waitress, and some gentlemen became very slimy with us because they already receives our payment. This did not make sense at all.! Their excuse was their system cannot ring an extra shot in one drink. They had to ring two drinks and total for each drink and we got I could go on. It was a very slimy approach to our dinner and sells without being told so. Charge for every ranch instead of coleslaw, etc. the bill was ridiculous.! never will be back should've known when walking in and the landscaping was way overgrown and the paint was falling off the outside walls. When I come back here to C-Bus, I enjoy catching up with a dear friend got a quick bite. Today I was looking for "dog friendly " outdoor patio. The reviews were great saying this place is very dog friendly and that they bring the pup water in one of their doggie designated bowls. My friend and I arrived shortly after opening. My friend called to make sure that bringing Henry would be welcome there. Absolutely dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio. When the server approached our table, all she said was...What do you want to drink? Not a hello or smile. She didn't even acknowledge my pup. I had put a towel on the chair next to me for Henry to sit on. I asked her if it was ok for him to be in the chair. I told her that I could make him get down. She said No the chair is good. She brought us our Iced Tea and coffee but no water in a doggie bowl was brought for Henry. We ordered our food. My friend request salt as the food was placed on our table. She did not Our server failed to bring any refills either. We waited quite awhile after our beverages were empty. She passed by our table not checking on us. I stopped her and asked for refills. She sat the drinks down in front of us. She never did bring him water and I was informed that staff automatically brings dogs water. Thank goodness I brought his water travel cup. It was pretty warm mid to high eighties, We both ordered their BLT sandwich served with natural cut French fries. I asked for the option of the egg being added. It was sooo very delicious ! My friend really enjoyed her dinner too. Out server wasn't alert. My friend left her sweater on the back of her chair. After we went grocery shopping my friend realized her sweater was gone. We drove back. The table was cleared and cleaned and her sweater was still hanging over her chair. So when were told Absolutely dogs were welcome, it sure was not! I recently hosted a birthday party during one of their monthly car shows. The event grew to an unexpected number of people. It ended up being a large group, approx. 40 people. I had called a few times as the number started to grow and Sara always responded "Thank you for the heads up, we will get you taken care of!" The staff did an excellent job taking care of all of my guests. They were attentive, polite and courteous. Although they were extremely busy, they never showed any signs of frustration. They made it a great event and I would not hesitate to do this again next year. The food was just as good as the service, and my guests had a wide variety of different tastes/orders. I have been coming to this place for the last 4 years and I keep enjoying myself every visit. The owners are great. Al is such a great person and friendly. Making sure everything is running smoothly and everyone is enjoying their time. The bands that comes and performances are good. The food is great. If you go ask for the Ryan's wings put you in mind of a dry rub lemon pepper. The drinks are always great! If you go ask for a shot of little beer (it's not beer) it's amazing! The restaurant is always safe, staff is very friendly to ALL. Bathrooms are always clean. It feels good to go to your neighborhood bar and grill and not have to worry about all the madness. The point is a racist place for African Americans. I was there for a car show and decided to order a drink and food. I sat at the table bar, 2 waiters walked by me several times within 5 minutes and said nothing. I noticed several seats at the bar and sat in one for the next 15 minutes. 2 caucasian wemen sat at the bar and was waited on right away , 2 caucasian men walked in about 3 minutes apart and sat at the bar and waited on within 30 seconds. 2 caucasian men I knew were at the bar before I came in and witnessed everything shaking their head. Great place! The food is always outstanding. My favorites are the Flat iron steak and the Pot Roast. Always tender and cooked perfectly. There is also plenty of entertainment while there. We thought we would try this place out because we read some good reviews. When we walked in it looked wonderfully remodeled and had lots of renovations! I got excited that perhaps we finally found a new place to go. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. Horribly over cooked and very greasy. Our Bill for three basic dinners, a sm Greek salad and a soup was $72! We could've eaten at a great restaurant for that price. We all four walked out knowing we would never return. There was a total of four people (outside of our group of 4) in the restaurant the whole time we were there. We read online that Tuesday's had dollar domestic beers and 15% off for people over 50. They told us the only beer that was a dollar was natural light and they didn't have the 15% off anymore. Horribly disappointed on a whole other level. I asked if they could give me a taste of a different type of beer on tap and they rejected that request. I can't imagine they will stay in business... Apparently the mask mandates and social distancing do NOT apply to this place. Some friends and myself went there last saturday. It was one of the few places that had a band. The service was terrible..looked for a server but one never came to our table. We went to the bar to get drinks. We were going to order food but since no one would help us we decided to go someplace else to eat. People were dancing... without masks. People were walking around...without masks. Even some employees had them pulled down to their chin. Absolutely no social distancing! Seriously doubt I will ever go back there and I certainly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! read more

Basically a dive bar that looks like a nice restaurant. We went there on a Monday night for dinner, saw the seat yourself sign, and then waited for about 10 minutes and left after no body came to offer any service. I don't mind having to order at the bar, If it's clearly a bar that serves alcohol first and food second. This is a bar that caters to its regular clientele and doesn't care for newcomers. I play euchre here every Wednesday and have a ball it's a great place to unwind, have a drink and hang with friends. That being said the last three weeks they've had open mic night on Wednesday nights and the music is way too loud. The ownership doesn't seem to care when folks complain about how loud it is. I can't even hear people sitting across the table from me. Not quite sure how much longer I'll be able to continue playing cards while going deaf. I sure hope somebody comes to their senses and places a sound limit on the group. Music is very good just super loud for such a small venue. I honestly can't believe that our wishes are being ignored and I can't believe my card playing days are going to come to an end because i can't hear what's trump. I went there for dinner and ordered fish and onion rings. The fish was not cooked, it was hard no flakes, the batter was still wet. I tried two of the three and both wasn't cooked. The onion rings were warm temp, not hot and the bigger ones was not cooked all the way My friend also got cold fries and requested fresh and hot ones and waiting over 20 minutes and never got them. I gave back food and the manager came out and said the fish was cooked, I told him if they were it should flake, not be hard and tough. He asked if I wanted the onion ring dropped again, I said yes not knowing that he was going to take if off my plate put it back in their fryer and reserve, this don't sound sanitary to me, so I said no. I can't image putting food from a table back in the kitchen. Also they gave me the bill and I still had to pay for the food I didn't eat. He change the bill to half price. I paid it but I will not be returning here. I been here before and we have birthday functions and still will not happen again. Clean environment and friendly staff but the food quality doesn't stand for what they are demanding for price. I had a Greek salad that was made up of all iceberg lettuce, a few olives and bland feta - $13 and change for that (with no meat). My friend had the chicken salad - again, nothing that made it stand out from something your average joe could stay at home and make. Too bad. We live in the area and are always on the lookout for new places to make regular stops at. Maybe we'll return for a drink stop, but the food isn't worth the price. read more

This is such a wonderful surprise. I had the Haddock dinner and it was superb. So I went back and had the mushroom stuffed angus burger, and it was delicious and high quality. And I am SUPER PICKY! Terrific atmosphere, lots of tv's, and very, very nice servers and service. First time here as it just opened. Very good service. Pretty decor. I had the Phillipine Chicken. It was a lot of rice with a spicy mixture of onions, tomatoes and jalapeño pepper. Chicken seemed to be thrown in as an afterthought. It was cooked and tasteless. There wasn't nearly enough to warrant $14.50. Husband has cheeseburger which he said was very juicy. Fries were abundant but not crisp. I was put off by seeing people from the kitchen as well as servers using the restroom without removing their aprons. I always thought that was a big no no. Prices aren't cheap either. So 2nd visit was tonight . Tried Philippine chicken again. Good taste. This time. Chicken was tasty - what there was of it. I got 5 teeny weeny pieces. I'm a tiny lady and left still hungry!!! This is ridiculous! Told Melissa our server and all she did was say I'll tell him. Came with a small salad which I ordered without the cheese. Of course it came with the cheese so with my fingers I had to pick off this very fine shredded cheese! I would only give it 2 stars but since this a revisit it won't let me change. My family and I were not sure what this restaurant even was because we haven't seen advertisement for it. We just decided to check it out for ourselves. We must have picked a good night to go because there was live music and $0.50 wings and mozzarella sticks. ( we went on a Thursday) I don't know if this is a special happy hour every Thursday, but when we went it was. The place itself is a bar with a restaurant inside as well. I guess the restaurant is bigger than the bar portion. I don't know what the crowd is usually like, but when we were there it was an older crowd. My dad enjoyed the music (he's 70) which was a mix of Country, Christmas, Elvis, and some other stuff. The food was pretty good. I will probably go back because I really enjoyed the French Onion soup and Greek Salad. All the appetizers were great and my dad and husband enjoyed their food as well (so did I because I always taste everyone's food). Came for a "party" where the table was sandwiched between two doors so it was like the arctic tundra in there. Okay, it's Ohio- nbd- the service was okay- the band was okay. My mushroom Swiss burger was okay- maybe three mushrooms on it and scant on the Swiss but the meat was plentiful and charred on the outside but juicy inside. I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was very good. Nice size, plenty of bacon and it came with chips. Saturday drink special is $4 mimosas. We sat at the patio bar outside because when we walked in they didn't have anyone at the door with just a sign saying seat yourself. They had a pretty good live band playing outside. Cathy, our bartender was ok. She didn't offer water and my drink glass sat empty for quite awhile without being offered a refill. My husband had to ask her several times for drinks, and to order our food. The bar wasn't busy and there were literally 6 other people at the bar aside from my husband and I. All in all the food was good. Service leaves something to be desired. Because the food was good, we'll try again on another night to see if the service gets any better. read more

Let's start with the service, simply amazing service! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and super presentable. The appearance of the place is great, very clean and new looking, ample parking and a great looking patio. I'd prefer that they have booth seating as well as tables, but that's just a personal preference. The drinks: Great craft beer and cocktail menu, professional bartenders, prompt friendly service, no complaints here on that. The Food: Here's where it all went wrong for me. The first time we went there after opening, we started off with an assortment of wings, although they aren't on the menu proper, they are a happy hour item for .50 a piece. Perfectly cooked, crispy and meaty, sauced perfectly, they're simply delectable. Wife totally loves their chicken salad, I agree, very tasty. I ordered the "No Name Burger" as an entree my first go around, let me tell you, it was awful. It was still edible, but there was so much bland cream cheese on it that it would have been better served on a bagel. Fries were over salted, looks like they dragged them behind a boat in the Dead Sea. Tried a pumpkin pie thing for dessert, it was too rich and soupy to be enjoyed properly. So a mix of good and bad, but not enough to warrant saying I'd never be back, sometimes I make a bad menu choice, it happens right? Side note on that, the No Name burger is also part of a naming contest they're having, how about the "Bad Idea", or the "WTF"? The second time we went there, it was just after happy hour so I didn't get the wings. I instead ordered the Pot Roast, with a side of the Baked Mac N Cheese. It was a cold night, I wanted meat, cheese, and taters to warm my bones. When the food arrived, it smelled delicious, but tasted decidedly like Alpo mixed with vomit and sea salt, smashed potatoes were cold, gravy had the unmistakable acidity of coming from a can, and the meat (it was only meat, no carrots, onions, or trimmings like you'd expect in a roast) was so tough and chewy that it was the consistency of the sticks of gum that came in baseball card packets. Two bites was all I had of it before giving up on the dish. On to the mac n cheese. After one bite, my taste buds identified that jalapeno cheese in a can that Frito-Lays makes, you know, the kind that you put on stadium nachos, totally gross. I NEVER send my food back, it's been probably 15 years since I've had a meal that warranted that treatment, but that night seemed like the perfect time to do it. It's been a few days now and I still cannot get the god-awful taste of that pot roast out of my mouth, it's simply depressing how bad it was. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, they are extremely polite and accommodating, even replacing my mistake of an order with delicious wings, but I've really got to wonder if it's worth visiting again for just wings and a chicken salad sandwich. read more

The building stands alone just off the interstate and route 40. It is a sports bar. There are televisions on most of the walls tuned to different sporting events. The music was not objectionable. The patio is very large and we will try it this spring. I had their onion soup and it was good. The greek salad had too much dressing that had been on it for too long. Don't eat here!!! My boyfriend is currently sick from food poisoning from their chicken wings. Yes. We're sure it's from the wings. I got a burger and paid extra for "fresh cut fries" instead of chips. The fries were soggy, and smelled and tasted really strange. (RED flag!!! Food poisoning crossed my mind at this point- especially having been a server for 6+ years.) We always get fries at every restaurant we go to because we both LOVE fries with ranch, but neither one of us has another bite of those. The service was good, but does that really matter? Great new favorite! Nice bar inside, good restaurant areas too. But the out side bar is wonderful and is covered with tv's! We loved it. Drinks were so good and very reasonable. I loved the fries! I have been wanting to try this new restaurant out because I don't stay far from here. We were happy to be greeted by the hostess even before we got inside I think her name is Gretchen. We both had shots of crown vanilla. The shot size was great. Service was great as well. Hubby ordered the coconut shrimp. It was amazing. But...I do say but. It was $9.50 4 just 4 pieces of shrimp. They have to give customers more value than that. Add 1 more piece of shrimp and fries and then they can pull that off. My potroast and potatoes for 15 was amazing. Tender, flavorful and worth a return visit. Lastly is their daily happy hour. The only deals are you get 50 cent off drinks. Newsflash that is not happy hour. If they can fix these types of details they can make it. The place is really nice. It was almost empty when we arrived on a Sunday after 3. I asked how were they marketing, and the Waitress Tammi said word of mouth. They have to do more to get locals out here. I hope they fix it and work on marketing. I wish I could give this place 0 stars for service... I met two friends to check out the band that was playing from 4-7 one Sunday. They arrived about 15 minutes before I did and got a table. They ordered drinks from the bar and were waiting for me to arrive before placing food orders. When I got there, I chatted with them for a few minutes then went to say hello to the band. When I got back to my seat, my one friend asked what I was drinking and left to go order it. He came back sat down and we chatted for a few more minutes and were all set to order some food. At this point, it had been about thirty (30) minutes since I had arrived and forty-five (45) minutes since my friends showed up. After about ten more minutes, I finally got tired of waiting so I asked the waitress at the table next to us who would be taking care of our table. She pointed to a waitress and asked if I would like to have her come to the table and I said, "yes." She (our waitress) looked at us and then turned back to the person she was talking to at another table. About five minutes later, she came to the table, looked at one of my friends (who had never been there before) and asked, "What do you want?" We all looked at each other with confusion. She didn't say hello, she didn't introduce herself, she didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink, nor did she ask if we wanted menus. So, I spoke up and said, "Well, can we start with getting some menus?" She turned and walked away then came back with three menus and THREW them on the table. Then she had the audacity to point at us before sarcastically saying, "You're welcome" as she sauntered away. Again we all three of us looked at each other like, what the heck is wrong with her? I said, "I can't believe she just threw our menus at us." So I got up and went to her and said, "I am not sure what your problem is but I do not appreciate you throwing our menus at us." She said, "I didn't throw them, I placed them on the table." I said, "Yes, you did throw them, and that was unacceptable." A male waiter came over at this time and stood in front of me, I guess to block me from talking to her. I moved around him as she was still mumbling something. I said, "You know what, it seems like you don't want to wait on us for some reason and I'm not sure why, but if that's the case, I don't want you to wait on us." She said, "Good because I wasn't planning to." At this point, I was really outdone with her attitude. I had no clue why she was being so rude and nasty so I said, "You are totally out of line and I would like to speak with management." The male waiter pushed her into the back room and I walked back to my table and told my friends what she just said. They couldn't believe it either so they went and shared this exchange with a man named Jan who I later found out was the GM. He looked in her direction and started walking that way. As he was walking by, I grabbed his arm and asked him if I could talk to him but he kept breezing right past me and didn't allow me to say one word. My friends sat back down and within a few minutes, the waitress came back on the floor but she still did not wait on us, instead she kept walking around the table looking at me as if to say, "I told you I wasn't waiting on you." Another five minutes or so passed before the male waiter came over and asked if we were ready to order. I looked him and said, "I don't want anything, but they might." He stormed off without asking my friends if they wanted anything. I went over to the band's manager to tell him I was leaving and he asked why so I told him what happened. He was shocked as well and said he would try to take care of it. As we were talking, she approached me and started to say something but I walked away because I had no interest in hearing anything else she had to say to me. She started crying for some reason and all of the waiters walked her to the back of the room. I put my coat on then sat down to finish my drink, which I had barely touched. A few minutes later, another waitress came over and said, "I am going to have to ask you to leave!" I said, "Oh really? Well good, because I was preparing to get out of here anyway." I drank the rest of my drink then went to place the glass on the table but she snatched it before I could let it go. So three (3) waiters at this establishment were rude to me for no reason at all. In addition, not one single member of management (I heard two of the owners were there) came over to take my complaint as I requested. I have never ever been asked to leave any place of business in my almost 50 years of life and everyone who knows me knows that I am cheerful, friendly and am always in a good mood. I wanted to ask why I was being asked to leave since I had done nothing wrong, but I decided to just walk out as I was so rudely asked to do, and to never walk back in ever again. I know they will not go out of business because they lost one customer, but I will make sure to share my experience. read more
