Pretty big menu of bar classics plus a lot more. Wings are up under the appetizers, and they are pretty basic: Buffalo or barbecue, baked, with blue cheese and celery. No other options. But, simple is sometimes best. They came out steaming, 10 pretty good-sized meaty wings. The sauce was heavy, but not dripping off, although you are going to need the napkins and wet naps they bring. The barbecue was tangy and sweet, but not overly so. I really enjoyed them. Could've maybe used a little more celery to give me some kind of a health balance. Service was excellent. It's a great little bar. I have been coming here for awhile. If you haven't been you should make it a point to try it out. They are open late so you can always swing by. Very chill vibes inside, I really like the different art on the walls! service was very quick and I got my burger in a surprisingly fast manner! I was in the mood for a burger and this was the closet restaurant, and I am so happy I found it! Quite the happening place! Came here the day before New Year's Eve with a good size group. We were able to get seating for most of us, although a few people had to stand. We found Olde Towne Tavern after searching for a dog friendly establishment and we love it! The staff were all very welcoming and it seemed like there were many local frequent guests. We sat outdoors with the pup and the patio set up was great! There is a big fire pit in the middle so we moved over to sit by the fire after we finished our meals. Can we first talk about the wheat bread that came on the Salmon BLT.... I don't know what it is about that bread but it was absolutely impeccable. It was toasted just right with a slight crispy yet soft texture and the taste was something I can't really put into words. I could probably eat this bread with the creamy mustard all day. They said they get the bread from a baker that delivers it to them... which I will need to ask and find out the details again. Anyways... the salmon was cooked perfectly and the cheeseburger was great as well. We also ordered the spicy chili and italian wedding soup which were both delicious. My only bland experience was the side tavern salad... we couldn't put our fingers on it but the taste was a little off. The portion size was awesome though! My friends and I came here after a comedy show. The show ended around 9:30 I would say. They had an open kitchen and bar still and there was a great vibe in the restaurant. My friend and I ordered two sandwiches and split them. I got the tavern Turkey and she ordered the Buffalo bill. We both got mac and cheese as a side and a pickle. Honestly, I have no notes. I preferred the Buffalo bill which was surprising for me since I don't tend to gravitate towards Buffalo chicken. It was very good! Normally I would not take the time & effort to do this but I want to make everyone aware that if you use a credit card and place a tip, check your bank statement. On both of my visits I ordered food outside, and was pleasantly surprised by the super reasonable prices, good happy hour, and friendly service. 6/12/2020 update: we literally got shoed away - hands in the air - go outside. Sign was on the door to wear a mask but the door was pinned open so I didn't see the sign. The host literally said: didn't you see the sign?" No, I don't have eyes in the back of head. Won't be coming back here again. Really disappointing. This was our first time here and they really know how to treat their customers! When you walk in you are Geeting by a nice dark bar with really nice hardwood. It was pretty busy and we took the last table available. We were immediately greeted by the waitress and she took our drink order. I asked her what her favorite drink was and she said she made a mean Manhattan and old fashioned. I started with the old fashioned and it was one of the best I've had. I knew the Manhattan would be good and I was right as well! Adrienne ended up getting the champagne flight and it looked pretty amazing. We added a couple of champagnes to our list that we will need to pick up. I saw their different dips available for the chips so we went with the sampler, guac, queso, and pico. I stopped here with family while on vacation from Los Angeles as we heard it was the oldest tavern in Ohio. It has been there since 1827. Loved it and the food was great! We had Chardonnay, pork belly appetizer, fish,fries,onion rings, sausage, sauer kraut, mashed potatoes, and grilled chicken sandwich. I ordered some things from here for family and forgot to snap pics, but still wanted to review. I tasted the mac and cheese dinner, cuban, a cobb salad, and the turkey sandwich. The portions were adequate and the prices were reasonable. The sandwiches were served with a side of chips and pickle spears. The mac and cheese came with bacon, jalapeños, and some other mixins' and was made with rotini. It was pretty good but not my favorite-- I think the ratio of pasta to mixed-in ingredients was a little off. It could have used more pasta. The cuban was yummy, probably my favorite thing I tried. The turkey sandwich was hefty but I felt that it needed a sauce of some sort. The salad was pretty good and fresh, but some of the toppings were in too large of pieces to eat without chopping them and I really wasn't a fan of the dressing it was served with.. it tasted like horseradish? I visited with my sister and our partners on 6/22/2023. The bartender was rude to begin with he said he would not serve us anything more although we just got there and only ordered one drink. He then proceeded to scream at us constantly to get out and pulled a bat out when we asked why he didn't want to serve us. Then he got security even though HE pulled out the bat. He then accused my sister of being "on something" who has never done any sort of drug, barely drinks, and barely even spoke to him at all. This is the kind of spot where all the locals like to stop by at least once a week. We've frequented this spot several times while living in Ohio and usually stop by every time we're back in town. The pretzels are chewy and light served with cheese dip and a mustard dip. I had the beet sliders slightly grilled with red onion and green goddess sauce. If you like beets you'll like this simple but tasty option. The nachos are good too loaded with chili- salsa- jalapeño- gooey cheese and you can add meat if you like. The staff are friendly too. They have a back patio shared by the neighboring business. The interior is dark and moody with traditional bar fare and interesting artwork. It's not huge but not small either with half table and half bar seating. Bottle n tap beers including craft beers and nice wine options. The offer a fair amount of vegetarian and vegan options. Parking can be a little tricky if you pick the busy part of the day but we usually go mid afternoon and easily find a spot. read more

For $14.50 this is what you get, with 2 tablespoons of chicken and a teaspoon of guac on the side. As my side I asked for a Caesar salad and received a pile of lettuce with horridly old carrots. The side of chips for the jalapeño grilled cheese didn't even come. The sandwich itself was merely a jalapeño between two pieces of bread. The side mac and cheese was hard and gross. We also ordered the quesadilla which was your average quesadilla. We ordered the Buffalo chicken sliders which were good. Overall, horrible experience.
