That kind of attention and care is rare, especially for a food truck. Everything I've tried has been consistently delicious. If something wasn't my favorite, it was just personal preference - not quality. You can tell real effort goes into every dish. As a busy student and employee, I really appreciate how reliable it is - same great food every single time. No shortcuts, no off days. It is Texas style barbecue, which is differentiated from Kansas City, St. Louis, etc. There are many many genres to BBQ, and Texas style is entirely unique. they do a great job of capturing the BBQ flavor of Texas. The portions are substantial, and there are a wide variety of selections available. I made several meals out of the food that I purchased and took home. It carries well, and refrigerates well too. We are in the Eastmoor Area, so this was close. Stav's is a traditional dinner with some two-tops along the wall and the counter. There were two open tables, and we were seated right away. Our server was right there, asking about coffee or drinks and offering a menu. Coffee was served in a good-sized mug. I had a western omelet with hash browns, rye toast, and coffee. My wife had a mushroom omelet. Our food was out very quickly. Our meal was good but not extraordinary. If you are looking for a breakfast or lunch place on the Eastside, give these folks a try.

The patty was seasoned, the bun was warm, my toppings were fresh...a really nice lunch. The fries were on point as well. It's a double patty burger so I didn't finish it all in one sitting but it made a good late night snack as well.
