Eastside has one of our favorite outdoor brewery areas in the city. Lots of trees, different types of seating and dog friendly. We tried a porter and blonde ale, both were solid. They also have a window were you can order Slab BBQ and I cannot say enough good things about them

We moved to Reynoldsburg in July and are SO stoked to have a brewery within walking distance of our house. Eastside is a well-maintained brewery with lots of seating both indoor and outdoors (seasonal). They are lucky enough to also house a BBQ business called SLAB inside. SLAB slaps okay. The rib dip? The Rib Sandwich? Worth it. Anyways... The only downside i've experienced here is the beer. They have some good stuff from time to time, but all in all not a whole lot of variety or "experimental" flavors. I would love to see them expand their selection -- that would truly seal the deal for me. The staff is always nice and attentive. Pricing is affordable. They have trivia on Wednesdays. Oh and did you read the part about the rib dip?? To the people upset about the rules regarding children, I cannot speak for your experiences, but in MY experience I have seen kids visit the brewery with their parents and run amuck -- climbing trees, screaming, jumping off picnic tables. Sure they are kids, they are going to do those things, but maybe a brewery isn't the place to go then. My understanding is that as long as kids aren't literally climbing the walls or disrupting other customers the brewery is cool with it. Again, just my experience thus far. Make the best decision for your family!

Good beer . Bad service for not a busy day. Came on a Saturday before dinner to obtain an Ale Trail stamp. Virtually ignored at the bar. Had to get up and walk three seats down to ask for another beer and once again to close out. Bartender never asked for a refill. He proceeded 'to chat with another female employee/former employee/local bartender; he only greeted patrons as they walked in. It's not hard to walk three stools down to check on other patrons. I don't like giving low reviews for local business Three stars for the beer and decent bar and outdoor space..

I am si happy to have this brewery so close to my house. The ambiance is great, good beers and the location is clean. The bartenders are friendly and kind (expect for one lady, IDK her name) but beside that is a good place to have a beer and unwind.

This is a neat place for craft beer and the Slab kitchens food... Great experience super friendly staff, cool interior, really cool outside area (wish we would have found this place during the summer). The SlB kitchen restaurant in side is awesome. We are going to go back because we really enjoyed it.

I love having little local spots like this to take friends or just relax outside on a nice day (there is plenty of seating indoors, but I usually stick to the outside picnic tables). As for beer, there's something for pretty much anyone's tastes -- wine drinkers may not be as satisfied unless they like sweet. The staff is always friendly and you don't have to wait long to get service at the bar. Parking is adequate, although you may have to park in the street if the lot is full. If you're hungry, there's a restaurant kitchen inside Eastside called Slab, and it is phenomenal. It's mainly burgers, barbecue and apps. It's a short menu, but what they do, they do well.

Empty adult playground where kids can't play apparently.

Can I leave 0 stars? Showed up with my kids on a Friday afternoon after school for happy hour. The kids had a football and a soccer ball with them. We've been here before with the balls and had no issues. Before we even ordered drinks, the owner comes up and says "This is an adult playground, not a kids playground. The balls need to go back in the car." Did I say we are the only ones here? I'd understand if the place was packed, but maybe now I understand why it's empty. And I also understand why I'm never coming back.

Visited this brewery today, it's been open for a week but I've always enjoyed the Buckeye Lake brewery and this is the sister brewery to that. They have the beer of Buckeye Lake, plus some wines from Buckeye Lake Winery, and a few others. They also have bourbon. No food on site, but they do have popcorn and food trucks Wednesday-Saturday. We grabbed food at the Tempe Taco restaurant which is nearby and ate it there. They are doing well with following Covid safety protocols with dividers at the bar and tables spread out. There is a nice patio, a big tv for watching sports, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I'll be back!

Nice time here on a Sunday.. pretty relaxing. Light rock playing in the speakers. I would have preferred a mixture as far as music. However, It's a chill environment. A food truck left as I was arriving but I believe they have food trucks here often or can bring your own food.. order a pizza & have it delivered do your thing :). I enjoyed myself. I tried an apricot cobbler beer, a strawberry wine and a sour cider of some sort which was my favorite . The location is convenient across from the reynoldsburg YMCA. There's plenty of outdoor seating and nice lighting. Wasn't very busy the day I visited but would be nice to have a waitress that comes around if it was busier. A very nice place with plenty of space to chill with a group or alone!

Horrible service. Mediocre beer. The owner is the most curmudgeonly people I've ever encountered. Easily the worst brewery in central Ohio.

You can sample / taste without charge. The beer menu is creative and sound leaving little guessing to how each of them would taste. I tried and purchased the Blood Orange Cider and it was one of the best ciders I've had. I also had a 5 oz pour of the "Inch of Dust 2024" which was by far my favorite. While 10% ABV the description was spot on and I loved it. It finished sweet so not one I would drink a lot of at one time but the 5 oz pour was perfect for me. My husband had IPA and enjoyed both of the options he had. They appear to be dog friendly based on seeing two dogs there while we were inside. There is ample parking and seating with a casual vibe. We saw another couple playing a game at the bar. The industrial look / seating can be off-putting and a bit uncomfortable for some but we really did not find it challenging. The entire place is also very clean including the bathrooms. They cycle food trucks out front and do not serve food inside. We will definitely return.

It's close to the airport so it worked for me and even better, the beers worked for me! It was pretty slow on a Saturday afternoon. The outside seating area was empty with a few people sitting at the bar inside. It was comfortable and friendly, which I was always appreciate. I trued four beers with a couple being specifically recommended by the gent working the bar. I didn't get his name but he is also one of the brewers. Crumble vanilla ale had a great vanilla aroma and flavor. Light color and light body and very good. Cosmic Fog DIPA was very tasty with a lot of hop flavor to it but not overpowering bitterness. Toasted Tones lager was pretty good. I would liken it to a light amber ale. SWPFTD would have liked this one. High Priest honey milk stout was a nice stout with the expected flavors but that little honey flavor hiding under the roastiness. I would have liked to stay longer, try more beers, and chat with the brewer longer but alas I had to fly home. Do me a favor and try the beers I didn't for me please! The focus on the beer was mostly on lagers, which I love. Only negative: the man pouring the taps there one of the nights has no clue what he was talking about. I asked him the difference between two of the bocks they had on tap (a helles bock and a maibock...debately the same style, if not very similar) and he said "how strong the Belgian yeasts are" in a very confident tone. I told him I had never heard of bocks being made with Belgian yeasts, and he said it's "a Cincinatti thing". I got a taste of the beer, and there were no phenolics (for non beer nerds: it had no Belgian flavors) so I ordered one and didn't argue.

We hit up several breweries on a recent trip to Columbus, and Hoster was my favorite beer of the trip. It was just well made, good tasting beer - nothing crazy. To top it off, there's bottomless self-serve popcorn and a vintage jukebox topped with a bowl of free quarters to play your favorite selctions from the decades. The collections of artifacts from Hoster's storied histories, make the walk to the bathroom like a visit to a mini-museum. I loved the homey decor and selection of tables, barstools, and comfy chairs. This place was somewhat family friendly, but it's not a huge space, so it's not great for tots that like to run around. I believe there might have been soooome seasonal outdoor seating, but nothing crazy. Lots of parking and easily accessible. The bartender was super welcoming, friendly, and generous! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't super busy - that was welcomed! Hoster is worth a visit if you're ever in the area. Their brews rival the big names in the area.
