Dank house is a great little brewery tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Lots of great spots, good art on the wall, a nice patio out back, and a fun vibe. If you like sours, IPAs, food trucks, this is your spot!!

Our first visit to this location and we were impressed by the amount of outdoor space. We loved being able to sit outside with our dogs and enjoy the nice weather. The menu has lots of IPAs which my husband enjoyed and a couple really unique sours which I liked.

Stopped here during our Columbus Ale trail. It was during a buckeye game, and they had a big projector set up for the game which was nice! I ordered a flight of beer and was a little thrown off when they were mostly red and yellow colored. The beers were fruity and tart/sour. The pina colada beer had a weird consistency but had a good flavor. I was not particularly a fan of the beer, however it was good to try some different types here. There was a food tuck outside. We ordered queso and chips, tater tots, and a chicken quesadilla. The queso was delicious and had meat and tomatoes mixed in for more flavor. The tater tots were crispy and paired well with the queso. The quesadilla had plenty of flavorful chicken and cheese. It was paired with a salsa that was a little spicy with a smoked flavor. The outside patio had lots of seating and fires going for the cold weather.

DankHouse is one of our new favorites. I just wish it was closer to Columbus! Though they were doing deliveries out to Columbus during quarantine, not sure if they still are. I love the vibe here and they've really extended their outdoor space as well with a fire pit and lots of seating. Plenty of room to spread out and not be too close to anyone else. It's the perfect place to chill out and have a drink. Even though I'm not much of a beer person, my fiancé is and he loves their beer. They do have other options like wine and cider available if beer isn't your thing either. They often have a food truck out front (check their website for the schedule) and it looks like they are working on having a more permanent pizza type joint out back. When we were there, everyone seemed to be following COVID procedures and wearing masks. We'll be back!

Beer and an outdoor fire pit. Can get crowded.

DankHouse is so far away from me. Too far. They have tasty beers, and often a style that no one else duplicates (which I love) in both their IPAs and their sour/berliners. I have been pre covid and during covid - and thankfully it's masks on (they had a private party that was maskless in another room, and they all wore masks coming out of the room, gotta give props to them!) Huge outdoor area with two fire pits. There were propane heaters (off) but it wasn't crowded to need them. All in all, my favorite brewery in the Newark area, that always makes tasty brews.

DankHouse is a pretty neat place. The inside is full of funky artwork painted all over the walls, they always have lots of beer options, and the patio is massive. On this particular occasion, I went for a day of disc golf and flight tastings with some friends. The disc golf course behind the brewery is pretty awesome! You can even take your beer with you while you play. Since I was hanging out for awhile, I decided to do an in-depth review of the beers that I tried while I was there. I got to try so many because my friends and I all ordered differently. You can see my notes on each below: tracksuit Santa - light on pallete, drinkable, tasteful amount of spice oatmeal cream pie - sweet, rich, nutty, well-balanced dessert beer fudge round- almost tastes like chocolate-flavored candy, is not rich or full-bodied like cacao. lactosey mouthfeel- dark brown milky color and opacity nibblin in space coffee stout- vivid dark color and rich flavor, coffee afternotes without coffee bite, smokey afternotes Blackapulco Gold- ALMOST bourbon-barrel flavored with an unexpected sweet tanginess. little to no coffee flavor, heavy on alcohol but soft on the palette cactus berry - pink and milky texture, tangy and tart currant situation - like what you wish cranberry sauce st Christmas tasted like. tart, spiced, and well-balanced with a sweet twinge strawnana- tastes like a fruit roll up! very thick mouthfeel with awesome juicy punch of flavor pricky icky icky- tart and crisp with w a creamy bitterness. complex fruity bite mega mane- warm, full bodied flavor, sweet undertones with a sultry hop afternote Needless to say, we also ate tons of MNCHS Kitchen from the permanent setup they have on the patio. It was a great day!

Stopped in as this was on our ale trail. This establishment was unique as the decor was industrial, a lot of metal and LED lighting. The brews here were not for me as they all were very hoppy. the food from the establishments out back were delicious. We sampled several varieties, chips and queso, tater tots and a quesadilla. All were delicious. The salsa provided with the quesadilla was my favorite, it had a wonderful Smokey sweet flavor and paired well with the chicken. There was a very nice patio outside wit ha fire pit, and inside they had a large projector for watching the game. Overall the brew or the atmosphere was not for me, but the food was delicious.

Wow, two in a row five stars on local breweries on the ale trail!!! A ton of space to come chill and have some beers. The bartender was super helpful and I got the flight with all five of their beers. Each one was super unique but the donut was my favorite! The had a ton of local beers on tap from breweries around town. We will definitely be coming back to this place for sure!

Great space, great beers, lovely service. Loved the outdoor patio which is huge and spacious. There were soooo many beers on tap, they do flights and the staff was very helpful. There was a food truck there but I didn't try it out. They were having an outdoor concert the day that I visited, I will definitely be back. I especially loved the sensimelon sour.

First time trying this brewery and overall it was great. They have some interesting flavors of beer (we tried the banana pudding & cookies and cream) definitely not like anything I've had before. The bartenders were super friendly and service was fast getting our drinks. The food was awesome- the carinta nachos were delicious! they have picnic tables outside with 2 fire pits you can sit at while you wait for your food to be finished.

This is a neat brewery. Stopped here for the ale trail! Very chill environment. The bartenders were really cool. Prices aren't bad. ~$5 for a pint/ 12oz depending on the beer. The blond ale is good, hazy pale ale (purely recreational) was also enjoyable. Overall positive experience with their brews Their outside is what really seals the deal for me. There is a large yard area roped off with cornhole boards and chairs. In addition there are picnic tables. This is a very dog friendly bar. Lots of dogs. So many dogs.

I love this place. It feels like a family-owned brewery, it smells and looks like a small brewery, and they do a great job with what they have. I felt like I was drinking a great craft beer in someone's house with my friends. Great atmosphere, cool decor, and they even have a backyard! I'll have to make it over for Wednesday night cornhole one of these weeks.... A food truck was outside on one of the Sundays I've been there, which I appreciated for a snack (or a full meal if you're in the mood). They haven't had a lot of selection in terms of their own beers on tap, but they always have plenty of guest beers and both times, I've found something tasty of theirs to drink.

I was looking forward to trying a couple beers listed on the website, but they were not there. My BLT was delicious, but the "avocado" upcharge was really just an avocado sauce, not real avocado. Most irritating though, the waitress brought us our check while I was only halfway done with my meal - I didn't ask for it and was clearly not ready. My friend commented to her that I still was thinking of getting a boozy milkshake. She didn't get the hint that maybe we weren't ready for the check, and just asks me which one I want. I was planning that as a dessert, so I stared at my half-eaten meal and told her that I'd like to finish my meal first before thinking about that. I haven't felt so rushed in a restaurant a long time. My friend told me that he goes often and had never had that experience before, so we'll try it again - and get a real burger.

We had a group of 6 and they had no problem sitting us with no reservation on a Saturday. If I'm ever in this area, I'll be stopping by just to have another pour of that! The food was excellent. I would compare it to an upscale bar food. My wife and I got the pretzel which was very good paired with one of the lagers. They even brought out extra cheese which was very kind. The wings were excellent too. I would absolutely recommend them if you're a wing connoisseur.
