A diamond in the rough in Downtown Lancaster. I'm not sure why I have t been here before now. It is one of the stops along the Columbus Ale trail, and a fine stop indeed. It's a cozy joint, seems to have regulars that hang around most times. They have a very good selection of brews and some a unique tastes. The bartender was very helpful in guiding us to the brew that suited my tastes. The Lemon Ginger Zinger was my favorite, it had a great bite of ginger at the beginning, finishing smooth with the sweetness of the lemon. This place is a must try!

A great little brewery with a spacious outdoor patio and open air bar. Wood Fired food truck made some great nachos for us to enjoy while drinking the Malicious Compliance IPA!!

Stopped in during our Columbus Ale trail. The bartender was helpful and knowledgeable about the beer and helped me choose things based on my liking. There was no food, but was told they have food trucks! Will definitely be back. The peach cider was my favorite, just enough peach with a crisp cider taste.

The location is nice, but pretty small. We swung by on a Friday evening and there was only one table left. My hubs and I enjoyed a couple craft beers and ciders while watching a sport game on the television above us. I'd say that it's a nice place to have a couple drinks with a spouse or friends.

I found this place while looking at the list of bars within the Columbus ale trail. Normally I wouldn't have drove me this far for a brewery ~40 minutes from Columbus, but I was able to make a stop by this place in addition to some others in the area. This place had a really good selection of IPAs and sours, along with a good ambiance both indoors and outdoors. There's usually a food truck next to the building so you're able to bring food here. It's alleyway seating was really cozy and perfect on a good weather day. Would come back!

Double Edge is a new brewery in Lancaster. It definitely needed a brewpub. There was nothing but a few trashy bars and chain restaurants. It doesn't have a large draft list but they are still working on it. They add some more now and then. I had the Golden Ale. It's about $6 for a pint. This is a lager style. It's a pretty easy beer to drink. They have a few other beers that are much more hoppy. It can get pretty busy when there's a game. There was the NFL on and it was pretty hard to get a seat. It's a sign this place is getting popular, so that's a good thing to see, especially for a business around here. This place surely gets crazy when Ohio State plays. It's modern looking even though it looks like an old building. It has some tables if you can't get a seat at the bar. The other cool thing is they make dog treats from the leftover hops so take a bag home for your best friend.

On the Columbus Ale Trail and Route 33 Brew Trail. Nice variety of beer selections. Beer flights and different size pours are available. The Taproom has seating to accommodate a variety of size groups. There is a beer for your taste.

Small. Bustling yet intimate. Great Beer. Double Edge was the first brewery to popup in Lancaster. (Besides Rockmill if you consider that Lancaster). Nonetheless, there is a reason they are doing so well. Unlike many craft breweries, Double Edge isn't going to try to wow you with an elaborately modern interior, sleek designs, or flashy extras. They are about brewing quality craft beer and it shows. Don't get me wrong, the interior is nice. The wooden accents mirror that of many craft breweries. The space is clean and fresh. However, it isn't too flashy. They do what they do well. My kind of place. When you walk in, you will be greeted with loud conversations coming from groups of smiling people sitting around tables. The staff is extremely friendly and happy to help you taste/find a beer that suits your palate. Double Edge has played a huge part in the restoration of downtown Lancaster. And, for that, I am grateful!

We stopped by after we finished our brewery tour. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. Took great care of us. Beer was good as well. We got a flight to try some of the beer selections. We enjoyed all of them. Definitely recommend them!!

Great little brewery in Lancaster! The staff are so friendly and the beer is tasty. Fully vaccinated guests may be mask less. I appreciate this since I have been fully vaccinated since mid January and working on the front line. I enjoyed the double IPA. Great spot to socialize!

My bestie and I are marking spots off on the Ale Trail and last weekend we stopped in Double Edge in Lancaster. One of the best beers we had all weekend....Sugar Cookie with a sugared rim! We tried it in our flight and then had to get a pint of it! Great brewery, enough space to hold a party and have people watching tv at the bar also, parking lot next too it also! Dog friendly and great merch....we picked up some awesome pint koozies!

Stopped in as part of the Route 33 Brew Trail. Double Edge is where they give you your brew trail glass once you've collected all of your stamps so it's best to end the trail here. I sat at the bar and enjoyed their golden ale infused with jalapeno, cilantro, and lime (taster $2). You're not gonna burn your mouth with this one, but it still does have a little heat flavor from the jalapeno. Would definitely order it again. I was told by others to try the into orbit and rustic sunrise beers but they weren't really my jam. No issues with service. Like that they offer wifi. Friendly fellow bar patrons.

We don't have a lot of experience with dining in Logan, and 58 West seemed to have a great menu and…read morewas well rated for our one dinner while stopping in town. We ordered two drinks, a Moscow mule and N/A beer; the cashew queso, the deconstructed chicken cordon bleu, and the brisket mac and cheese. Drinks were great. The queso was super thick and more like a black bean dip, so that didn't hit right. Dinner arrived and looked great, but the chicken was bland and really just felt like a chunk of meat to get through. The mac and cheese was OK, but be aware it is covered in a sweet BBQ sauce and is more of a braised brisket than smoked BBQ. Our server was great, and the atmosphere was great. But all of that above decent at best food came to a total of around $100 (just about $30 per entree) for a party of two. My wife and I go about once a year for a meal that expensive and it is not for the quality of food we spent at 58 West. I'd say 58W needs to either lower their prices or the consumer needs to lower their expectations and head somewhere else.

Our crew of 9 spent the weekend at Hocking Hills and we were hoping to hit up a local brewery. We…read morelucked out with 58 West! In the small unassuming town of Logan, OH, sits this lovely restaurant that is winery, brewery AND distillery! There was something for everyone. It helps that it was a gorgeous day, so we got to enjoy their giant outdoor space. We were seated so quickly, and their cauliflower crust flatbread was excellent. You will have to try to sweet potato fries with the delicious cream cheese dip. Pairs well with the maple beer.
