Retreat21 is lucky to have him as we found the landscaping to be wonderful. From the patios, to the right amount of gravel on the road, to their gorgeous, landscaped pond and event center and OH! can we mention how they incorporated a 100+ old oak to serve as an altar in their woodland sanctuary. Perfection!!! There is a large guest cabin that can be rented, plus seven other ones and a handful of geodomes. Each cabin has a private hot tub and fire pit. The geodomes just have a fire pit. At the front of the property is a large barn that has been converted to a tasting room. They have several house made craft wines and ciders. You can take those out to enjoy on one of three nice sized patios... one has hanging swings! They serve charcuterie, boards, and flatbreads... I'm on the weekends. They have food trucks. They also have yoga on the weekends that you can do in their vineyard -pretty cool along with other events This is a great addition to the Columbus area and Marysville. The wine flights are served efficiently in a cute presentation, and my chicken Caesar wrap was delicious. However, the operations and service need severe improvement: Disjointed Pacing: Drinks, an appetizer charcuterie board, and entrees (including a lackluster pizza) arrived at completely random intervals with long, awkward gaps between them. Inattentiveness & Hidden Fees: Our server never went over the menu or asked for our food order--we had to flag her down repeatedly. She was unfamiliar with the beers on tap and charged $4 for a tiny sample without menu listing or prior disclosure. Unacceptable Safety & Management Response: At 9 PM on a Saturday, my husband was bitten by a dog near the outdoor fire pit. I couldn't find a manager to report it. When I alerted the host, she tried to locate one, but instead of the manager coming over, they sent a staff member, who then just sent our server back out. After waiting an extended period, we left without ever being able to speak to management. There is so much natural charm, great ambiance, and potential here. With proper staff training, better pacing, and--most importantly--responsive management on duty, this winery could easily become a standout regional destination. I truly hope leadership takes these operational fixes to heart so the venue can reach its full potential!

If you want some entertainment during your visit, they have a TV but the people watching on High St is prime time. They also have an upstairs which is perfect if you have a party.
