Reuben pizza
Montana L.

Nice winery out in the country! The scenery was beautiful. Nice outdoor seating as well as indoor. Started with the blue cheese kettle chips. They were delicious. Nice combo of flavors. Ordered the Reuben pizza. It lacked a lot of meat and the crust was really thin. It wasn't my favorite, but could have maybe been better with more meat. The wine slushy was sweet and tasty!

Nice little winery out in the country. Beautiful outdoor seating areas with a large pavilion for large gatherings. Indoors there is a nice bar area and plenty of seating. Service took a minute, but was good. Food was standard. The blue cheese chips were good, nice and crisp with a good bite. The pizza was not my favorite. We opted for the Reuben pizza, about 3 pieces of meat were atop. Very thin crust. Avoid the pizza as it brought the experience down. Stick with the apps and you should be good!

Apparently I only took pictures of our wine but the food and vibe here were excellent. As a note, the entrance is in the back of the building and they have plenty of parking. When we arrived they didn't have a spot immediately available so grab a glass of wine and waited outside. We grabbed a seat at the bar shortly after and enjoyed the live music. We started with the sourdough bread board and blue cheese kettle chips which were excellent! We also split a pizza which they make in their pizza oven and had a great flavor and crispness. Loved our time here!

It was a bit scary traveling to this AMAZING Winery at dusk. Be prepared for dark winding roads through the hills. However when you get the clearing of this magical winery you won't regret it. I would recommend visiting earlier in the day. We tried most of the wine and enjoyed everything. We took home quite a few few bottles. I definitely suggest getting the charcuterie board to help cleanse your palette between samples. I ended with a very tasty frozen wine and would have love to try their food but we had just been to dinner before our visit. Our server/batender was Luke. He was fantastic and really took pride in what we assumed was his family business. He definitely had great recommendations based on our likes and made a effort to get to know us a bit which is totally rare these days. A very classy establishment that we can't wait to go back with friend and family.

Great service, beautiful location and delicious food & wine. Gorgeous outdoor seating. We will be back!

Charcuterie Board

An incredible hidden gem (likely only because they haven't been open that long)! Valley View did everything right from start to finish. It's clear they take pride in their grounds and want hidden everyone to feel welcome. Each staff member we interacted with was polite, kind, and attentive; clearly working as a team. They have a large assortment of drinks, something for everyone instead of just a basic winery. I particularly enjoyed the watermelon/peach wine slushy. The menu has all the staples you would expect, easily enough for a nice dinner or we made a meal of apps and a charcuterie board. Topped it off with a lovely Pizookie dessert. Can't wait to go back on a Saturday when they have live music!

Great winery with excellent service! This was our first visit. We really enjoyed the live music and the lovely wine. The restaurant was adorable and outdoor space looks cozy.

We don't have a lot of experience with dining in Logan, and 58 West seemed to have a great menu and…read morewas well rated for our one dinner while stopping in town. We ordered two drinks, a Moscow mule and N/A beer; the cashew queso, the deconstructed chicken cordon bleu, and the brisket mac and cheese. Drinks were great. The queso was super thick and more like a black bean dip, so that didn't hit right. Dinner arrived and looked great, but the chicken was bland and really just felt like a chunk of meat to get through. The mac and cheese was OK, but be aware it is covered in a sweet BBQ sauce and is more of a braised brisket than smoked BBQ. Our server was great, and the atmosphere was great. But all of that above decent at best food came to a total of around $100 (just about $30 per entree) for a party of two. My wife and I go about once a year for a meal that expensive and it is not for the quality of food we spent at 58 West. I'd say 58W needs to either lower their prices or the consumer needs to lower their expectations and head somewhere else.

Our crew of 9 spent the weekend at Hocking Hills and we were hoping to hit up a local brewery. We…read morelucked out with 58 West! In the small unassuming town of Logan, OH, sits this lovely restaurant that is winery, brewery AND distillery! There was something for everyone. It helps that it was a gorgeous day, so we got to enjoy their giant outdoor space. We were seated so quickly, and their cauliflower crust flatbread was excellent. You will have to try to sweet potato fries with the delicious cream cheese dip. Pairs well with the maple beer.

My Mr and I was looking for a vineyard near our cabin and stumbled on this place via Yelp. The…read morereviews were so good that we had to check them out. We got there a little after 1:00 pm and they were super busy. The inside was small but there were plenty of seating outside. We didn't mind going out there despite the 30 degree weather. The view of the farm and vineyard was gorgeous to look at even with the snow. Before we went in, we greeted the sheep's in the front entrance. You can't miss the small barn. We stood in line and while we were waiting, we filled out the sheets and picked our 4 tastings. They range from dry, semi sweet and sweet. They also serve slushies and mulled wine. We ordered: Flight of 4 $10.00: -Dry Red- 2022 Free Run Norton -Dry Red- 2023 Marquette -2 Dry White-2023 Seyval Blanc -Dry Red-2022 Norton -Dry Red-Oaked Norton -Dry Red-2023 Alexander -Semi Dry Rose- 2023 Grower's Blush Appetizer: -Classic Charcuterie for two For food, they do have paninis and charcuterie trays. If you order, they give you a buzzer. When it goes off, you pick up your meal outside/food truck. Our favorites were the Alexander red and Seyval Blanc. So good that were purchased bottles to take home and had two glasses of Alexander after we finished our flight. I talked to the owners and they are very friendly and take pride in their wines & their farm. I highly recommend you pay them a visit. We had such a great experience and will definitely come back when in the hocking hills area. Make sure to check their hours because they are only open certain times and days of the week.

It looked very scenic and laid back too so we had to check it out. Glad we did because we really enjoyed it. Excellent wine, very relaxed atmosphere, and tremendous service. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon after some hiking. We just wanted a couple wine flights and maybe a charcuterie board since we saw they offer those. It was pretty busy already and we got there right after they opened for the day. Still, it wasn't super cold out, and we found comfortable seating on a porch outside. We started with two flights and a classic charcuterie board. Here are the wines we tried: -Dry Red- 2022 Free Run Norton -Dry Red- 2023 Marquette -Dry White-2023 Seyval Blanc -Dry Red-2022 Norton -Dry Red-Oaked Norton -Dry Red-2023 Alexander -Semi Dry Rose- 2023 Grower's Blush We enjoyed pretty much all the wines, especially the Alexander and the Seyval Blanc. Note that when ordering food, you order at the bar, then they hand you a pager, and you get your food at a food truck nearby when your pager goes off. Our charcuterie board was done pretty quickly and everything was tasty. So much so that we took our time to savor it along with a couple more glasses of wine. They do offer s nice range of wines too, from dry to sweet to all points in between. They also do seasonal wines like mulled wines in winter and wine slushies. Like a certain wine? You can buy a bottle and they offer 10% off if you buy six or more bottles. This is a great little winery and lots to offer. I can tell they're a big hit with locals and travelers alike with how busy they got quickly after opening up. Say hi to the sheep when you get there too!
