Peach tea moonshine slush!!! So good!!

MOONSHINE SLUSHES!!!!! We stopped on Labor Day in the late afternoon, we got a short tour and explanation of the moonshine making process. We then had a flight of the diffrent moonshines and the bourbon. We also got some samples of the flavored syrups to mix with some of the flavors. It was very nice. We enjoyed it a lot, then we moved over to the bar and had samples of the moonshine slushes. We had Rasberry and peach tea. We ended up getting a full size peach tea slush, we enjoyed it very much. We also had a bourbon root beer float. It was good as well. I encourage everyone to stop in and give it a try!!

This was an awesome find on our drive home. I have gone to many distilleries but this was my first time being to an old school moonshine setup. Watching the process was super cool and I would suggest anyone to go and visit. The moonshine was good but idk if I would go back for drinks. Overall, I definitely recommend!

Tried 4 of the moonshines. The flavored ones are a bit sweet for me, but I really liked the bourbon! The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Nice open space with some historical memorabilia. Also, gave the kids lollipops which was a nice surprise!

After two wineries, my girls trip gal pals were ready for something not wine and this was perfect! We did the tour because none of us knew anything about moonshine and then we dove right into the tasting. I was wary because I'm a lightweight with hard liquor but they know exactly how to make the tasting delicious, with additions like French vanilla, caramel, lemon, etc. Among our group we probably tried most combinations and almost of us walked away with a bottle or two. I highly recommend the granny apple moonshine with the caramel apple mixer. And if you go, ask if they can make you a Resting Pitch Face. Awesome place, staff and tasting.

Covid protocols in place. We had a very nice tour. The guide is a 4th generation moonshiner and included interesting historical and family information. She was great We sampled all 8 varieties. I liked.the raspberry and peach tea flavored moonshine nthe best. If you can't make it to Logan, many of the state liquor stores in Ohio sell their product.

My partner and I stopped in here because we saw an article on the place in a Hocking Hills magazine. This place is a GEM! It's all run by a family: a brother and sister and their cousin and that's the kind of business this is. One or more of those three people greet you inside and give you a short history lesson about moonshine and the artifacts around the front room. Then you'll be able to take a tour in the back where they make all their moonshine. The facility is super clean and they're growing so they're not a lot of room for all the barrels. I won't ruin all the surprises but just say the process it a lot of fun. You can also purchase 1/4oz samples of their moonshine in Buckeye Lightning 120 proof, regular, or ant one of their flavors. They were all so good and smooth. The sensation was a smooth warm one. Truly a great product. It was hard to choose which one we wanted to take home with us! We decided on the Granny Apple Moonshine. They make all their moonshine in this location and get all their ingredients as local as possible. Even their water is from a local farm and they're working on recycling the mash back to those farms to be even more sustainable and local. While they have limited products, they are quality products. They focus in on making the best moonshine they can and are looking to expand in the future. If you're in the area, take a trip to this little gem, meet the people, and enjoy a sample or two....or four of the good stuff and I guarantee you won't leave without a whole bottle.

We ordered two drinks, a Moscow mule and N/A beer; the cashew queso, the deconstructed chicken cordon bleu, and the brisket mac and cheese. Drinks were great. The queso was super thick and more like a black bean dip, so that didn't hit right. Dinner arrived and looked great, but the chicken was bland and really just felt like a chunk of meat to get through. The mac and cheese was OK, but be aware it is covered in a sweet BBQ sauce and is more of a braised brisket than smoked BBQ. Our server was great, and the atmosphere was great. But all of that above decent at best food came to a total of around $100 (just about $30 per entree) for a party of two. My wife and I go about once a year for a meal that expensive and it is not for the quality of food we spent at 58 West. I'd say 58W needs to either lower their prices or the consumer needs to lower their expectations and head somewhere else.

In the small unassuming town of Logan, OH, sits this lovely restaurant that is winery, brewery AND distillery! There was something for everyone. It helps that it was a gorgeous day, so we got to enjoy their giant outdoor space. We were seated so quickly, and their cauliflower crust flatbread was excellent. You will have to try to sweet potato fries with the delicious cream cheese dip. Pairs well with the maple beer.

We arrived and the woman asked if we were part of the tour. She said there is room. But then said it's with an existing group of 12 people. I said oh nah we aren't interested. Thought it was randoms etc; We sampled 6 different whiskeys. Up to 6 if you can't obtain all. I had all that was almost available. The bourbon, Rye and Lime cello was my favorites. The owner does a good job and explained how they started and what they were using and were going to use. Asked if he sold his barrels after use. He said no because he will use at the cidery and vice versa. He was very nice and looked a lot like Kurt Surter, the creator of Sons of Anarchy. The bourbon is $75 a bottle. Think it's because it's 6 years old. I was in hope they had the 6 year old apple brandy but they didn't. Wanted to try it out. This place is very eas to miss. Remember there is a large parking lot next door that helps.

This is a smaller distillery. When you walk in you will be greeted by the owner. He is also an artist/musician and his labels reflect that aspect of his personality, wonderfully creative. He uses this space for multiple things: a distillery, art studio, art gallery, and jam session room. You will see a drum set and a few guitars. Art collaborations hang on his wall- It's pretty cool. His distilled products and merchandise occupy the front corner by the entrance you will be offered samples of anything you may be interested in trying. However, it's more a grab and go type of distillery "shop". A huge plus is not only are the items delicious, the price point is quite reasonable ...yesterday we purchased a new type... a vodka he called Bloody Mary Vodka.... Made specifically to enhance bloody Mary's. Wow, is it good and only $20! The products and experience while tasting are all five star, but due to the fact there is no traditional bar to hang out at like the other distilleries on the distillery trail .... Deducted a star.
