Very very smash and noble old fashioned
Janine H.

I found this place via Groupon and I'm so glad I did! The tour was super informative and it was really cool to see what goes into crafting alcohol. After the tour we made our way to the lounge to do a tasting, which was amazing. Then it was off to the bar for a craft cocktail. I had a smash berry and he had an old-fashioned. Top-notch for sure when you buy four bottles, you can get a barrel at a discounted price so of course I had to get a new addition to our bar area. Everyone was super nice. The environment was clean and I can't wait to go back. I'm definitely going to be a regular.

So many varieties

I came to Ohio for a best friend visit and we ended up here to celebrate 2 birthdays! What a fantastic place to have fun for an afternoon. We were the only ones there and got ALL the attention, information and excellent customer service! The samples that were shared were really tasty. There wasn't 1 of the 6 I didn't like. The variety from the coffee martini to the varied "Cello's" Lemon, grapefruit and a vanilla spice were soooo good. I really liked the idea of vodkas with individual state labels on them (great for souvenirs). This was my idea to come and kudos to me to pick such an awesome afternoon activity! Lol

Its taste like cinnamon

Ive been a fan of Noble Cut for years, yet have never been inside their tasting room or distillery. That hasn't been for a lack of trying It's just been more timing issue. They're open during the week but they close at five, which makes visiting difficult if you have a 9 to 5 job With this being Saturday, we decided to finally stop by so glad we did! We arrived right as a tour was beginning. They offered to include us, but we decided to take advantage of the empty tasting room and have our own private tasting party. The tasting room is really comfortable and decorated nicely. There's two large sofas and a coffee table and merchandise is displayed on shelves throughout the room. They have a nice sized bar where you can taste all the varieties that they make, which we certainly took advantage of! We tasted vodkas: vohio (corn) and signature (wheat). I tried a lemon cello (yum! It was so good) We then moved to its bourbon, the. Tried a few whiskeys (they make salted caramel, peach, cherry, maple) then we tried the Danhatten and lastly, were fortunate enough to get to try their new espresso martini which isnt available for sale....yet. Let me tell you... the minute that is available, it will be my go to gift for friends birthdays and at Christmas. Mmmmmmm. It was smooth. We had a lot of fun. I suggest you plan on coming on a Saturday afternoon at 12. Tour, taste and then walk next door to Heart State Brewery for lunch. They have a great Italian pizza thats only 12 bucks. Plus game room and dont forget...you can get a full Noble cut cocktail there for only 5 dollars!

Plenty of room to hang out for tastings.

Honestly never would have found Noble Cut if not for an event here! Buried off side street in an office park in Gahanna. However as soon as you go inside, you feel welcome! Fred, the master distiller was greeting everyone quickly and their were 10 or so people around the little bar and three barrel tables! All friendly and engaging. Met a great couple from Martinsburg, WV and two fellow yelpers. Was really a good vibe there. Now for the important stuff.. Tasting their amazing beverages! Tried several but favorites were Salty Caramel Whiskey, dark Cherry Whiskey and limoncello. They also had lemoncello or peach or grapefruit. The salty caramel was so good - it is dangerous. Had to get a bottle for home! They have other flavored bourbons too - stop in and talk to Fred and the team to tour the facility and taste their treats !! Didn't get to meet Tony the owner....apparently he was working out hahaha. Thanks again Fred for a fun visit and for sharing all the details. You have an amazing product and glad i grabbed two bottles while there. Cracking one tonight. Hope to be back soon.

This liquor is fabulous! Loved the different flavors of "cellos" that they had. I would love the grapefruit one in a cocktail in the summer. The salted caramel whiskey made a great "white elephant" gift for my family Christmas this year- super unique! I had a hard time finding the venue, bc it's tucked away in an industrial park but the staff was kind and knowledgeable, I felt like I was taken care of. Can't wait for them to expand their business and maybe move into a larger tasting room one day!

We did a tour and tasting on a Saturday afternoon. You get 5 tastings of a variety of spirits and flavors. Great history and honesty of Noble Cur is really humbling. It was very cool to learn all that they are doing and how they are partnering with a bunch of different local breweries and restaurants. They also have a partnership with many different bars in Nashville!! Their bar area is super nice too. We bought the Magnolia bourbon and vodka to take home. Great local distillery!!!

Soon as we arrived we were greeted by Tony. He was very friendly and welcoming. He showed us around and explained some of the products and then asked if we would like to take a tour of the back and see how the Whiskey and Vodka are being made. At first walking into the place, it seems small but you don't realize that there is a whole different world back of this place. As we walked around the facility, Tony explained and educated us on how the whiskey and vodka was being made and showed us which pipes was making what drinks. Tony was super nice through the whole time and very knowledgeable about the products. After the tour we sampled 3 different drinks. First was the wheat based vodka, which went down so smooth and then was the Whiskey, which smelled and tasted great. But my favorite was the Limoncello. I liked it so much that we ended up getting a bottle. Whether you want to buy a bottle for yourself or for a gift, definitely recommend this place.

We had a Groupon for a tour tasting here. It was very very educational. I learned a lot about bourbon , whiskey , and the production of both. The owner knows his business and also teaches a class at COSI for those wanting to really dig into whiskey production and the chemistry involved. As we went thru the tasting of the whiskey and his cello line he taught us how to smell, place it on our tongues then let it float back thru our mouths. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour ( sitting at well spaced tables in his production area) and it was fascinating how different mash bill recipes taste in the end product. My husband who is the whiskey aficionado said the whiskeys were indeed fine. Great to see a persons passion grow into a booming successful local business.

If you are ever looking for the most amazing distillery, this is the place for you!! The owner has been in the business for 37 years owning this awesome place for eight! The whole environment as soon as you walk in is so welcoming, I would totally come back here. Interesting enough, I enjoyed their vodka the most, it was so fruitful and refreshing, keep killin' the game, Tony! Your customers appreciate you! He has the best and most unique whiskey tastings you have to go try, you will not regret it! I appreciate the great experience I had here!

I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. I first found Noble Cut after a Yelp Elite event and I look for their spirits every time I am in a liquor store. I came back recently specifically for the 100 proof Limoncello, you can only buy it at their distillery. What I failed to do was check their hours beforehand, they were closed when I arrived. Around 5:45 pm I wandered into Heart State Brewing Company and when I mentioned purchasing Noble Cut to the GM, he immediately called to see if someone had just left and could come back. This meant so much to me!! Erin turned around and came back to open up the store for us. She was incredibly gracious!! She made sure we tried anything we were interested in and we didn't feel rushed at all. She made the experience so personal and even made time to get to know us. They are running a promotion currently: buy 2 bottles and get a simple syrup for free. Erin we can't thank you enough for turning around for us and being so welcoming! The Marysvillians appreciate you and Noble Cut! Be sure to check out their limited release collab (Mellon Basil Cello) with Valentina's in Bridge Park Dublin.

Often, the mighty comes in neatly wrapped, smallish packages. Noble Cut Distillery has carved out its niche in the whiskey, vodka, and limoncello group. It's a hidden gem in Gahanna just off E. Broad Street. The owners are welcoming and talented. The Noble Cut Distillery is creating delicious brands of what can only be called some of Ohio's best libations. And the news is they'll be rolling out their brand at a new location at Put-In-Bay, Cleveland. That's bound yo be a smash hit. Highly recommend a pop-in to experience the mouth-watering liquors yhey's producing at Noble Cut Distillery. Lots of variety - genuine great tastes and flavors.

This is a cool little distillery in an industrial-ish area. The interior is sort of office-like with a very small bar for tastings. Rumour has it they'll be expanding that area soon. The spirits are incredible-- the 4 flavored whiskeys are all delicious. They also have shiphouse vodka, an Ohio-specific homage to Ship House on Lake Erie, which is in a neat boat-shaped bottle. Makes a great gift. They manufacture Magnolia bourbon which is the oldest bourbon brand in Ohio, otherwise they don't make bourbon (other than their flavored whiskeys, which actually have a bourbon base). Their Cellos line is neat and inventive. I didn't try the other flavors, but the Limoncello is divine and actually a full strength infusion, not a diluted liqueur. I purchased the dark cherry whiskey, magnolia bourbon, and shiphouse vodka for gifts. The bourbon has already been gifted and opened and the recipient was very happy :) I will check back with Noble Cut for new releases that they say will come in the Spring.

This is a smaller distillery. When you walk in you will be greeted by the owner. He is also an artist/musician and his labels reflect that aspect of his personality, wonderfully creative. He uses this space for multiple things: a distillery, art studio, art gallery, and jam session room. You will see a drum set and a few guitars. Art collaborations hang on his wall- It's pretty cool. His distilled products and merchandise occupy the front corner by the entrance you will be offered samples of anything you may be interested in trying. However, it's more a grab and go type of distillery "shop". A huge plus is not only are the items delicious, the price point is quite reasonable ...yesterday we purchased a new type... a vodka he called Bloody Mary Vodka.... Made specifically to enhance bloody Mary's. Wow, is it good and only $20! The products and experience while tasting are all five star, but due to the fact there is no traditional bar to hang out at like the other distilleries on the distillery trail .... Deducted a star. I encourage you to give his shop a try... yum! .

There are a few spots in front, street parking, and a shared lot next door. Their cocktails are really unique with fun names. I started off with what they call a garbage fire / trash tiki, served in a plastic trash bin. Then there was a banana rum drink with a plastic monkey. Then there were little daiquiris (special $1 for joining mailing list). They have a small appetizer list; we had the Bear's Bagels chips and schmear. I took home a bottle of Pineapple Rum. Happy hour is 5-6 pm Weds-Friday. They have a nice little outdoor patio but we sat inside. It was quiet at 5 pm, but got busier as the night went on. They have a food truck on Friday and Saturday nights only. There are also a few bar snacks on the menu. These bartenders know their stuff. These drinks are truly craft cocktails. They were very knowledgable about the menu and making suggestions. They were all friendly, but I did feel like we had to work to get their attention when we wanted to order something. There was also some minor confusion with the bill. Overall, a fun and relaxed cocktail bar.
