a row of glasses of cid

I love cider, so a cider bar is right up my alley! My friends and I got flights of cider so that we'd be able to try several. The employee did a great job of explaining the different ciders they had on draft. The PB+J cider was the most interesting, it had kind of a salty flavor to it. Other than that, they had a wide range from sweet to dry! It was a little tricky to find -- it's in kind of group of storage buildings, some with offices in them, etc. They did have (at least) one sign that we noticed on a fence pointing us in the right direction, which was helpful! But just know that you're probably in the right spot, even if it doesn't seem right at all!

I absolutely love these ciders (you can find one in lots of businesses around columbus on tap) so OF COURSE I had to visit their tap room. Admittedly so I was nervous to come out this way, as its not in an amazing area, however, with where the tap room is actually located it feels okay. The actual location was a little hard to find as the road isn't labeled. You should turn on the access road right past Huy(?) road and right before the international market. We were greeted and served by one of the owners. She was so friendly and talkative. I loved getting to learn more about the cider I love so much. The company has been bottling for about 4 years but just recently opened their taproom a year ago. I got a flight (4 ciders for $10) but you can also get a glass for $6. I tried : tangerine dream - AMAZING unglued caramel apple - kind of just an apple cider to me Maui Wowie - very ginger and pineapple-y, loved it Eat a Peach - my favorite, literally bought a six pack All of them were so good, even others that I've tried elsewhere. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Love this spot! I've had Mad Moon quite a few times locally, but had not realized that they had a tap room until more recently. The location of the tap room seems a little odd as you're driving back into a storage area, but I've seen that a few times before with breweries. They do have some signs to help point you in the right direction as well. Also, this spot is a little off the path from other breweries in the area, in a more up and coming location, but the inside is well decorated and cool. I loved the bright colors inside the taproom, and they offered single drinks or flights. There were quite a few options to choose from and the bartender was great with helping us choose our flight. It was great to see another locally made product doing well, and I will definitely be back to try out some more ciders!

If you have not been here, you need to get here. It's my favorite brewery. I can't have gluten so I love cider, but even my brother, who used to be skeptical of my love of ciders has declared that one of this all-time favorite beers is here (okay, it's not beer, it's cider, but it's alcoholic and delicious). They have lots of amazing flavors (usually at least 8 to choose from, and you can do flights), my favorites are the swell cold, a coffee cider (sounds crazy but it works) and tangerine dream. Plus the staff is sooooo kind and friendly. I've brought lots of people here and they have loved it. It's kinda a crazy location, and it's small, but I think it adds to the charm. If you enjoy doing the cbus ale trail you need to check this out, it's not in the book, but you won't be disappointed.

We had a lot of fun here. It's definitely off the beaten path. The biggest downside was just the difficulty in finding it. definitely go on Google maps and look at the street view in order to get here. They had seven ciders on tap, and they said that they get new ones almost every week. they have everything from really fruity to semi-dry. Two of the seven we really enjoyed and got a pack to go. You can try a flight of four for $10 or just get one large for $6. it's a good selection, a nice staff, and good ciders with a decent variety. We will be back.

This was my first brewery visit and I am impressed. I came during the OSU VS PENN state game (OSU took that win home) and was welcomed like a long time friend. Like I came in sat down and the convos started flowing. This is what social drinking is all about. Actually talking to people and relaxing. The cider is incomparable. I was taken by the peach cider. The dam thing tasted like peaches haha. Not just the taste either the smell as well. The brewers are doing the right thing here. The location is tucked away off Cleveland ave and you don't realize its there but now that I've found it thus could be a monthly stop in. I love the fact that its local too. And they have a sampler of the ciders. Which let me say is a steal. I love the size if this place. Its like you come in stay for a a little while then move on to the next destination but meet different groups of people.

Went here for a donut and cider pairing and it was amazing! I've never had too many ciders before this and was a little hesitant at first. Mad Moon has definitely changed my perception of ciders, i am absolutely in love with them now! Their location is a little confusing to find but they have signs directing towards it once you turn off the main road. It's a small location but very homey. The staff is extremely friendly and I even got to meet the owners and talk to them a little bit about their cider. Their is true passion going into the product that they put out!

A little hard to find but worth the effort. I tried the Blood Orange cider at another brewery and knew I had to find the source to try more.

This is a honey meadery that's family owned. They have plenty of varieties and the owner is usually there to talk to you about the process and how all of the meads he makes came to be. The pricing is fair based on what I've seen other places and can get pricey if you're buying a large bottle. You can choose to buy a bottle, a glass , or a flight of different ones to choose from. The menu is also very easy to understand. I'm not sure if this place is still opened because google indicates it's permanently shut down, but the FB page says it's still open. You may want to call before visiting.

Turns out, it not only happened, but it's a really great family-run business as well. The menu is fairly large, but any of the staff can speak to which one you'll like best. Some is REALLY sweet, some a little tart, and some tastes like fruit juice - but watch those, because they're all in double-digits with the alcohol by volume! We tried several, but my favorite was the Almond Joy. They took Chocolate and coconut and it really tastes just like an Almond Joy. My wife liked the Cranberry and the raspberry varieties. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the Strawberry rhubarb, but maybe next time! If you've got someone in your party who would just as soon stick to beer, it's okay to byob - same with sandwiches or shareables. They're only open on the weekends, but it's a really neat idea, and I strongly recommend you try it.
