I never knew this brewery existed. I was at a hospital near, and looked for breweries near me. I walked into Bucks brewery and was sowarmly welcomed! The owner gave me tastes of anything I wanted to try. Every beer I tried was delicious. I've become so picky but was pleasantly surprised when they were all delicious. I will definitely add this as one of my favorite Newark, Ohio stops for good craft beer! read more

What a unique brewery! All of the beers tasted fantastic, great bartender, and you order salsa by the jar! It's smaller than you think on the inside but there is plenty of room to spread out. We got a flight with the first six beers and they were all great. The salsa by the jar was hilarious and it's really good! We got a nice big bowl of chips to settle the heat down a bit. Buck's is a Newark brewery. It looks like it's pretty new. This place seems to be in an old restaurant. It has a respectable amount of beer. They have a good variety of styles. I had the White Ale. It's $4.50 for a pint. That is much cheaper than most brewpubs charge you. It's one of the lighter beers. This is made with coriander and orange peel. It has a little spice in it. The orange garnish is good for bringing out more flavor, and good to eat after it soaks. It has a massive TV good for watching games. It still doesn't get much of a crowd. They are still new so they will after more people know about them. read more

Drove the distance from Columbus to check this place out. Neat little find in Newark. Relatively new from what i can tell. There is a parking lot out back so parking is convenient. Store front is pretty small but there are bar seats and tables. Beer is tasty! My party was pretty big so we were able to try multiple beers. Would recommend the white ale, red ale, and stout. Everyone I was with got one of those and liked it! Service was friendly and prompt!! Would return if in the area. read more

Stopped here during our Columbus ale trail. The place was quite small, with a bar and only a few tables. The bartender was friendly! I ordered a flight of beer. This gave me chance to try numerous beers. They were offering ten different beers on tap. read more

This place has a cool atmosphere. The vintage brew signs make it feel like the man cave. This location definitely has a local crowd, as we stopped in on game night. Plenty of bar seating and some bar snacks. There is also tables near the front of the establishment if you do not prefer bar seating. Service was great, very friendly bartender and plenty of brew options as they have 10 on tap. Overall a cool local hangout! read more

I've stopped in here a couple of times and so far nothing has changed. Every time I feel like I'm sitting in a strangers house while my conversations are being overheard and judged by the homeowners. Always the same bartender and lady sitting at the bar, and no one else. Place is quiet and not comfortable feeling at all. I'll try again in a few months to see if it's gotten better. read more

A solid choice and worth a bit of driving. With 8 tables and the bar, it's cozy. I like all the wood surfaces. It's clean, and the staff is really kind. I didn't need to bother opening a tab until we were done. Even better, all the beer was really good. We got the white ale and the saison. They have 8 different styles, and there's enough variety to keep it interesting. If we're up this way again, we'll be back. read more

Delicious beers! Not a flashy spot but a great place to sit with friends and drink a couple beers. Limited food available inside but there is a food truck. We enjoyed the Christmas Ale comeback for a very warm summer. read more

Absolutely terrible. Customers were rude and so were employees/owners. Very nasty towards outsiders. Don't agree to be on the Ale Trail if you don't want business. Actually don't even have a public bathroom if you're going to make a big deal about people using it. read more
