White Ale
Steve A.

Buck's is a Newark brewery. It looks like it's pretty new. This place seems to be in an old restaurant. It has a respectable amount of beer. They have a good variety of styles. I had the White Ale. It's $4.50 for a pint. That is much cheaper than most brewpubs charge you. It's one of the lighter beers. This is made with coriander and orange peel. It has a little spice in it. The orange garnish is good for bringing out more flavor, and good to eat after it soaks. It has a massive TV good for watching games. It still doesn't get much of a crowd. They are still new so they will after more people know about them.

White ale -- comes with orange slice!

Drove the distance from Columbus to check this place out. Neat little find in Newark. Relatively new from what i can tell. There is a parking lot out back so parking is convenient. Store front is pretty small but there are bar seats and tables. Beer is tasty! My party was pretty big so we were able to try multiple beers. Would recommend the white ale, red ale, and stout. Everyone I was with got one of those and liked it! Service was friendly and prompt!! Would return if in the area.

Gave it a try, but think owner should stick to backyard brewing. Beer and location are both pretty lame.

Cozy little bar- the White Ale is tasty, similar to a Blue Moon, and my husband really enjoyed the New England IPA.

Is there a 6 star or a 7 star available? This place deserves it…read more I LOVE coming out here. I drive from Columbus about 2x a month or more depending on what they have going on and they usually do. Absolute best beer garden which makes sense they have been voted #1 by USA Today's Reader choice. I've been coming here the last couple of years - heard about it through someone I knew. They host craft markets, farmers markets, mini shows to bigger ones - North to Nashville has played here. The beers are good and the service is great. Parking is across he street in the field - they have foods trucks and constantly post on their Instagram about the food trucks. It's an old farm that has been converted into. Brewery - lots of space and tables inside. Great seating outdoors as well - bring chairs for shows bc tables may be taken. There is a trail along the backside so sometimes you'll see people riding horses. It's close to Alum Creek and is Grear for star gazing in the summer. I love coming here to get out of the city life. Sometimes I'll bring a book, grab a drink and just hang out. Really good spot. Enjoy!

Several times I have meet friends or family here and every time there has been a line to get a drink. Not to tough..... fix it.....and let your customers sit down and enjoy a beer instead of standing in line, the beers are not cheap you can afford to flex up when you get busy. Oh and don't try to make things easier on the group you are with, I was told everyone waits in-line when I tried to get a drink for someone in my group who didn't do their time. Lots of rules as mentioned in other posts...we slid two tables together so our group could sit together. (You should put s sign up about this!)Pretty quickly someone came out and separated them telling us if we do it "everyone will think they can too"! Not very customer friendly business in my opinion.
