Our experience trying to plan an event with this company has been extremely frustrating. We called multiple times and sent emails to Kendra asking for more information, but our inquiries were either ignored or brushed off over the phone. Communication is one of the most important parts of event planning, and unfortunately, we did not feel valued as potential customers. All the beers I tried were average to above average. That's called a win. I also had the shroom double burg , they cooked it well done because of the thin patties and that was perfect. I can vouch for that burger. I will get it again. The space is huge and accommodating to my small dumb children. Service at the bar is kind of odd.... This place is very big so there is a lot of seating which includes a nice outdoor seating area. Inside was clean and comfortable with an industrial vibe along with a game area. The service is a little different than a traditional restaurant as you either order online or go to the counter. The drinks are brought out by the bar staff, but the food has to be picked up at the kitchen window when you get a text. Service was minimal given this setup but the staff was friendly. The food was all really good, so it was worth picking it up ourselves. The boneless buffalo wings were nicely sauced and still crunchy. The traditional wings are not breaded which is my preference and the bourbon sauce was flavorful with a little heat. Fries and cheese curds were cooked well and very tasty. We tried the Tennypenny ale and the Sun-Kissed wheat ale and both were very good. We will definitely be back to try some of the other drafts and food choices. read more

First off as a brewery, I have no issues with outerbelt. It was the kitchen I had an issues with. After some time I went to check on our order. Our friends ordered seperate food and after realizing they thought their food was ours I politely said oh sorry. There are 2 orders. They proceeded to yell at me stating they helped our friends and I said yes I have a seperate order for that table. They seemed confused so I opted to cancel the order and just move on but then they made the food refused to refund me stating we ordered the order to go and blamed me for placing a to go order and not checking it but... surprise there I was checking in. They forgot our cheese for our pretzel as well. Do not recommend the poor service and disrespect for mediocre food. read more

This time you either ordered at the bar or used their Qsr app. Won't talk about the food since the quality varied among our 8 folks. What really got me was their high lifted tip on their check out screen which was 30%. Let me put this in perspective, we had to place our order thru their app or at the bar. Great spot. Massive space. Can't wait to check it out in the summertime. Visited Outerbelt in the winter on a slow night. I didn't order food, but they did have a solid menu of bar favorites available from their in-house kitchen. I grabbed a glass of wine and tasted one of their stouts. It was awesome to have different options, and you can see the brewing area where all the magic happens. The venue also has private event rooms, local art decorating the walls, and a hosts tons of events. On the night I visited, they were hosting an indoor disc golf tournament which happens weekly during the winter. The bar staff is super knowledgable, and I would definitely visit again. The QR code pasted to the bar directed me to the wrong menu (a totally different bar in Athens??), but otherwise it was a good warehouse brewery type of experience. read more

I wish I could do 3.5 stars cuz 3 always looks bad. It wasn't a bad experience. It just wasn't the best. We go to a lot of local breweries so we are alittle picky. My husband loves amber and dark beers. They only had one dark beer. So he was alittle disappointed with that. I'm not a beer drinker so I normally go for ciders or seltzer's. They didn't have any of those. They did have a few sours so I ordered one of those. The plum sour. It was decent. I had two. I then tried the pina colada premixed slushy. It was very light. Very airy. Literally almost like air. I would have preferred more of a blended drink but the flavor was spot on. Looks like a cool place. Big. Picnic style tables. We ordered a pretzel. It took FOREVER to come out. They don't bring food to you so you have to keep going to the back to the Kitchener check to see if it's ready. It was good once it came. There are things I like about the brewery. They have a wide selection of bruise and the space is comfortable. The suggested tips are outrageous. If you're going to have me come to the bar to get my drinks and order food then you can't suggest I tip 30%. I would suggest paying a living wage. I feel it is inappropriate to ask for donations to political causes at a business. Businesses should operate in a non political arena or risk alienating half the population. read more

bought 4 tickets to Dueling Pianos for $30 a piece w taxes...arrived at 6:50 and show started at 7:00...we had no table and barely could find an area for 2 ppl let alone 4.....There was no one scanning the tickets and the serving was just chaotic as we were standing there ordering food and drinks and food never came until we asked about it 30 minutes later and then they finally found our food. My suggestion-dont purchase tickets to shows...they are worthless....just walk in close to show time as a regular patron....find a seat and enjoy the show.....so unprofessional.. read more

In central Ohio there's another new brewery. Outerbelt Brewing is open in Carroll. This is part of the Route 33 Brew Trail. It has a nice looking bar. There's also a big patio. It hasn't been open long and there's already lots of beers. It's markedly different than many breweries that still have only a few on tap months after they opened. The beers all have names inspired by transportation. One that isn't is the Area 51. This is a lightly hoppy beer that is smooth. A lot of the beers are IPA or something like it. There's a few that aren't, so there is some variety. It is located off of Business Route 33 in Carroll. It's behind a few other buildings so you can't see it from the highway. The parking lot will often have a food truck. read more

AWESOME hang out with GREAT selection of LOCAL, CRAFT beer! PLENTY of space to spread out with loads of seating outside as well. Fast becoming our new hangout. The beers here are EXCELLENT. Highly recommend a flight for first-timers and spread the wealth across the IPAs, Lagers, Ciders, and Ales. For non-beer drinkers, HIGHLY RECOMMEND mixing their two sangrias as a palate pleaser. For some good reviews on their beer, go to UnTappd (recommend the App). I am not an IPA fan, so I stick to their Camino Amberino, Blood Orange Golf Cart, and Christmas Cookie. WARNING: If you're a Cider fan, they have a pineapple cider. This is NOT your Cider Boys Pineapple Cider! In fact, it tastes more like pineapple beer than pineapple cider (more bitter than sweet). They do have an onsite "kitchen" with a SOLID menu including tasty grub from street tacos (EXCELLENT) to flatbread pizza to sandwiches. They also have some GREAT appeteasers like a bavarian pretzel and beer cheese nachos. (Yes, they have a kids menu). The only thing missing from the menu is traditional buffalo wings... that would make me ask about rent to live there. The atmosphere is super casual, and you can actually enjoy a conversation and hear everyone at your table. They have live music at times (up front... so, if you don't want the amp next to your date, head for the back), and they have TouchTunes jukebox to select your own mix in between sets (download the App, and you never have to leave your table except for beer). This gets a MUST DO! on the Columbus brew trail. GREAT venue for large groups and meeting friends. Not sure if this is the place to watch football, though... not a lot of TVs. Oh, and one note... they don't stay open late. 10 pm on F/Sat, 8 pm on Sun, and 9 pm Tue-Thur. However, GREAT beer, GREAT atmosphere, and GOOD food. See ya there! read more

With the proliferation of microbrews in Central Ohio in the past 5-10 years, I imagine it's hard to stand out from the crowd for a new microbrew. In my opinion, Outerbelt is very similar to many of the other microbrews in town... the industrial-looking open space that this taproom occupies for example is similar to CBC's taproom near the Hilltop. However, Outerbelt Brewing does everything exceptionally well. I tried 10 different beer tasters (shared between 2 people) and every beer was amazing. I especially enjoyed their Raspberry Gravel Donuts IPA, Morning Commute coffee brown ale, and BBA Overo barrel aged porter, Their space is large, clean, and comfortable. The lady working the taps was very nice. And they even have a little corner with free games like skeeball. Carroll/Lancaster is quite a bit out of the way from where I live. And I would literally have to drive past Brew Dog on Route 33 to get here. Despite that, I will be back again for more beers here. They're that good! read more

It has a great vibe (lots of TV's, event rooms and well-appointed covered outdoor space with comfy furniture) and they host lots of events and entertainment. There are nice little touches , like electrical plugs and hooks for purses along the bar seating area. There are rotating food trucks during specific times that are posted on there web page. What a solid brewery! Amazing beers and even more amazing prices. Most beers are running between $4-6, honestly unheard of at most breweries in the area. But it's not just their beers. The food is delicious. They have a solid pretzel that's great for sharing (or one committed person) with mustard and beer cheese made from one of their beers. We also ordered a flatbread, but looked more like a small pizza. The space is gigantic, great for groups and enough games for families. When the weather is nicer, there is a comfortable outdoor space too. I wish I lived closer so I could come more often. But I'll definitely be recommending this spot to my friends living nearby. And, they sell many of their brews at specialty shops and grocery stores in Ohio. read more

Arrived just as they opened, so no crowd whatsoever. We approached the bar and was greeted by Bill. He was very knowledgeable in helping us get the right drink for our taste. I settled on a 4 drink flight. The Gas Money is a sour that kicks you in the throat on the first sip, but makes up with you by a sweet caramel finish. Tasty. Seasonal Oktoberfest was just released, so naturally I had to try that as I normally am a fan of the Oktober. The Pit stop was a nice easy sipping Pilsner with a clean finish. The surprising one for me was the Rye-din' Shotgun, it had a mild taste that finished clean. I certainly will be back, especially since plans have been set in motion to open a kitchen! The female owner was rude from the second we walked in. running a vacuum cleaner on a Friday was a lovely sound she ran it for a good 30 min. we were also scowled at for having the nerve to get up from our table go up to the bar & ask for a drink. My husband was standing at the bar 5 feet from her to place a drink order, she completely ignored him making him yell excuse me can I place an order?! she was irritated & rude the entire time. First time at Outerbelt brewery this weekend and was surprised when I pulled up to see how massive this building was. Which was great for feeling socially distant safe. The workers were super friendly, and while at first glance I didn't think there would be a lot of beers I'd like from the signage, they directed me to read the paper menus with the descriptions of beers and I realized they had more to choose from than I realized. So much that my friend and I did two flights of four. And they were so good! I particularly loved the stouts and sours, especially the Neapolitan stout! I ended up taking some home, they had a lot of canned beer available. My friend liked the IPA style sour. They have a huge patio, and there was a food truck there. Decided to drive in from Dayton and try this brewery in the Lancaster area. Was not disappointed. They had a great variety of Beers. They hit about every style. IPA, imperials, porters, ciders and even peach and red sangria. Large venue. Plenty of parking and a huge patio. They Also have pool tables, electronic darts and other games. The bar itself is very large L shaped. They do serve food but we decided to have a flight and play darts. Decor is cool and seating is comfortable including some couches. Stopped in to get a stamp for the Route 33 Brew Trail. Inside is a bit industrial like - big open space with sort of a clean and cold vibe, but I came in on a Sunday afternoon so it was nice and relaxed with just a couple of other patrons visiting as well. Attentive and friendly service from Jentzen (who is a cute young snack I could munch on by the way. Sorry, my creepy old lady just slipped out). I tried a couple samples of the goods and settled on a glass of their Kings To You ($4.50). A nice light refreshing beer perfect for a hot summer day. Bill is another bartender here and I liked that he seemed pretty passionate about beer making/his job (I think said he has been home brewing for 20 years). He even gave us all an impromptu behind the scenes tour! I really value when a business is personable and interactive - they want to educate you on their product, they want you to have a great experience. Also have to give this place points because I saw they offer a pierogi and beer pairing! I love pairings! Up in Cleveland I have done a mini donut and beer pairing, a mini pie and beer pairing, a girl scout cookie and beer pairing, a mini bundt cake and beer pairing, a cookie dough and beer pairing, and a slider and beer pairing. I would love to have a pierogi one! Pairing events allow you to get two local businesses to work together and you sample several of their goods and have a great time with friends. If you are looking for a brewery with a patio where you can feel comfortable going even with this pandemic going on, Outerbelt Brewing is your place. It has a ginormous patio where you can follow all social distancing guidelines. It was the first public establishment we went to after the State opened back up after the shut down. I was apprehensive until we pulled into the side parking lot facing the patio. It truly is enormous, just wait until you see it for yourself. We found an empty picnic table and we settled in. Outside you order from a makeshift check out counter. They serve ice cold cans. Their beers are beyond reasonably priced. My fiance was drinking $2 cans of Cloverleaf. Their quality of beer for 2 bucks is absolutely unbelievable. We can't wait to get back and enjoy another evening on their huge patio. Outerbelt is well worth the drive. read more

We stopped by here Friday about 7pm on the way home and wanted a beer and something to eat. We still had a 45 minute drive home so we were having 1 beer and an appetizer. We ordered a pretzel and after almost 30 minutes, we asked about it and had already finished our beer. At that point, we just wanted to cancel the order and pay for the beer. Instead of just voiding it, they had to check to see if it was ready and I told them regardless if it was ready, we didn't want it and were not paying for it. The manager came out with it and we told her we didn't want it. She rolled her eyes so much, you'd think she'd hurt herself. So, instead of taking it off the check, we waited for her to take it back to the kitchen to find out where she could sell it as they probably had 4 orders for it anyways. So, she walked it to another table then the girl at the register had to get her to take it off the check. She said they were busy but I said that is not my fault and a pretzel is a 10 minute app at best and not acceptable for almost 30 minute wait. There was no apology. There was no please come back. Unfortunately, the food and the service need some people with experience on how to run the front of the house and know when to press the kitchen for food and expedite when the kitchen gets backed up. Tried this brewery for the first time yesterday. Very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. They have different seating options (to match your mood or needs) and a lot of space. There are also numerous TVs, pool tables and Skee-Ball. I had the Gravel Donuts beer and it was yummy. We tried the Beer Cheese Nachos and the Mexican Pulled Pork Flatbread. The food was good and prices are very reasonable. They have a small souvenir area and items are reasonably priced. This is a hidden Gem and we will be back soon. read more

So many good things going for them: excellent location - easy access on and off 33; space, space, space - so much room to move about, you definitely will not feel cramped; plenty of seating, both inside and out; nice long L shaped bar; a great side patio that's covered (!); a couple foosball tables and giant connect-four for entertainment; clean, orderly restrooms; a high production room with plenty of room for their brewing equipment (and still room plenty of room to add more brew kettles as needed); and, based on my first conversations a few days before they opened to the public, friendly staff. While I can't comment on their beer yet, I am happy to see they've taken an abandoned warehouse, spiffed it up to make it low-key but enjoyable, and will be able to serve the masses. It's rather refreshing to see the number of breweries and restaurants opening OUTSIDE of downtown Columbus! read more

I love Outerbelt Brewing! If you are in Fairfield county, Outerbelt Brewing is an awesome go-to for some great, casual fun. Whether you are going on a date night, have family + friends in town, looking for a place to watch the game, Outerbelt is the perfect place to go. They have a very large space that is also warm and welcoming (sometimes hard to accomplish, but they do it flawlessly). They have a nice selection of table top board games, ski ball, pool table, etc. I love that they have little lounge areas all throughout that typically circle around a tv which is perfect to watch your favorite sports team on. Their beer is really good- always a great selection. They also have a small kitchen. The last time we were there we got the pretzel + loaded nachos- both were really good. Highly recommend. read more
