It's been a few years since my last visit. Joined new friends here for Tenzi and a board game. I ordered the Sunset Spritz (Strawberry Aperitif, Lemon Juice, Pineapple Juice, Soda Water) mocktail which was refreshing for a humid day. They had Mexpress food truck which had some great looking tostadas. Inside the door near the stairwell for the Sun Room are glasses and a self serve water dispenser. Nothing is better on a perfect summer evening than Seventh Son's patio. Solid beer selection, but my heart is with their frozen blended Paloma ($11 at time of writing). After visiting Antiques on High, the bartender there recommended that we check out the original Seventh Son Brewing location, so we decided to stop by--and we're glad we did. The brewery has a very cool atmosphere. You can definitely see the connection to Antiques on High, but it has its own unique vibe and personality. It felt welcoming and relaxed, making it an easy place to spend some time. We tried a few beers, and they were all excellent. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and helped make the experience even better. As a bonus, we even met some fellow Steelers fans while we were there, which made the visit even more memorable! Great beer, great people, and a great atmosphere. We'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're exploring the Columbus brewery scene. read more

Great Brewery! I was there for a fund raiser, there is a lot of room for gatherings. Plenty of seating downstairs, upstairs and outdoors. They have a small parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking. I tried four different beers. The Assistant manager Golden Ale, both the NA version and alcohol version. I liked the alcohol version, nice and smooth with great taste. I can't put my finger on it, but didn't enjoy the NA version. I had the Oubliette Imperial Stout, outstanding across the board, great flavor and boozy as an imperial should be. This is a beer that I would order every visit when I go back. Last I had the Rime Winter Lager, great taste and light. They had a Street Thyme Food truck that I ordered vegan taco's from, they were so full of flavor. Two of my friends ordered burgers that they both liked. The staff was helpful and personable. read more

There are multiple areas to hang here! Outside is always great and they have food trucks usually. The first floor has a warm, cozy vibe but the 2nd floor has a sunroom vibe that felt open. Bars were open on both floors and they had different beers which is a nice touch. read more

Seventh Son has always been one of my all time favorite breweries. The staff is really chill and the beer selection is excellent. Also, the taps are always changing which is a reason to always come back. The local beer passport that they have with AoH and Getaway is also a great way to buy a very cheap 6-pack. The atmosphere is very relaxed and it varies. You can either sit outside, inside, or upstairs which has plenty of natural light and air-flow. read more

This brewery is the bomb. I love that there's so many spaces to hang out (inside, on the patio, or on the giant sunroom second floor). This place has grown so much since it opened. It started with the downstairs space and events. I came here a lot and was a regular. They have a great outdoor space as alwats with a food truck. Then they added the side patio AND THEN the entire garden upstairs. The space upstairs is used for all kinds of events and yoga. Alwats good service - they move quick. If you don't like the food truck, Budd dairy is across the street with plenty of options. Parking here is tricky as on-street is the only available. Budd dairy has a small lot - but it's mostly parking permit on the side streets. They also host vintage markets in the summer on Sundays. I have found parking across the street. We were visiting family in town and they took us to Seventh Son (where they had their rehearsal dinner years prior!) - it was cool going back to the same spot, and seeing the second floor expansion. They have some fun/funky beers! I got the PURPLEHEART - Tart Dark Ale with Blueberries and MAN it was tart if that's your ~jam~! I love sours and it was a bit tart for me but very tasty. My husband got an IPA that he enjoyed. I like that they had a bunch of seltzer options too and fun merch. The second floor seating area is very fun - think fake grass, beach chairs and plants galore. Plenty of people were grabbing burgers from the Street Thyme food truck and I'm glad I gave them a try. Made a quick stop by last Saturday. Place has a fabulous vibe. Definitely helped that the weather was beautiful so the ambiance of the garage doors being open, the sun going down and the happy spirit of the place was very inviting. We had a couple drinks and some chips and salsa from the taco truck (yum!) My only complaint was the smell. I'm not sure what it was but it smelled like a mix between cleaning agent, bleach and vomit. We sat outside so it was not a bother but inside... They were hosting a private event so maybe it was that, maybe it was cleaning from brewing, maybe somebody did puke , who knows. It was stinky, but not enough to keep me from going back. read more

I've been here a couple of times and have always had fun. I don't drink beer so I appreciate that there is a cocktail list. There is a small parking lot and street parking around. Good place! Great bar area with plenty of seating at the bar or by it. Additionally, it has more room behind the bar, roof top or outside! The drinks tasted great and especially during this HOT day! One thing to note is that they don't offer food all the time, just check the site before heading-in with an empty belly. read more

Was visiting my mom from LA and popped into this awesome brewery. Will def be back when I'm in town again. All the beers I tried were damn good, including the salted chocolate stout - I don't even like stout and I ordered it. Love that they had board games, lots of space, and a food truck out front. Stopped by for drinks last night and it was our first time here. It was pretty cool - they had a food truck in their parking lot (parking is very limited but street parking is available), some seating in their first floor, but there's also more seatings upstairs in their rooftop. The bartender wasn't as friendly but he wasn't rude either. He simply asked us for our order and made it, no small talk or anything. Unfortunately, our visit was cut short. They lost power and were unsure of when it was coming back so they had to close early. read more

Seventh Son has a great patio. It's one of my favorite breweries to visit in the summer because of their awesome Paloma slushies. I know they have great beer also, but summer time is synonymous with frozen drinks when they're available for me! They have different food trucks depending on the day, and this is one of the more well-known food truck/brewery combo spots in the city. I have heard that they also host live events with live music from time to time, but I haven't checked one out yet. I'm looking forward to seeing what they have planned for the rest of patio season. read more

Seventh Son Brewery has always been in awesome go to bar for hanging out with friends and the spacious and airy vibes in the place makes for an awesome time for drinking even before the pandemic. This place is close to home so I can walk there most days and it has parking as well. You can also park on the street for 3 hours. I love the workers here and they make banging cocktails. Social distance in place and many sanitizers to keep you good! Are you vaccinated, your in luck they have party rooms just for you! Having your own get together with your friends and family in the space is awesome! I always have a great time here and you can get beer and cocktails to go and there's the staple Dos Hermanos food truck to feed you! 5 stars! read more

Stopped by to check out Seventh Son as we'd heard good things about their beer. They have a spacious patio--dog friendly-- patio with a mix of picnic tables and lawn chairs. A server brought us over a water dish for the dogs as soon as we sat down. A food truck was in the lot also. They are directly across the street from the Budd Dairy Food Hall, so plenty of food options are available. Hubby had a sampler and found them all true to style and enjoyable. read more

We made plans to check out Budd Dairy Food Hall across the street but we were quoted a 1-1.5 hour wait time on a Saturday night for a party of 6 plus a pup so we swung by Seventh Son Brewing to kill some time -- there was a short 15-20 minute wait but the time passed by relatively quick. The outdoor table we were seated at had sanitizer spray and a QR code to access their menu. To order your drinks, you go inside and order right at the bar. To grab a bite, they had the Dos Hermanos Taco Truck (I believe the food trucks that show up rotate but don't quote me on it). The night turned out to be pretty nippy and they didn't have any heat lamps so dress accordingly on colder nights. Definitely coming back to check out their rooftop! read more

I'm going to kick off this review by telling you that I don't drink beer, but I LOVE coming to Seventh Son. I visit every now and then with friends and the atmosphere is truly something special. Whether you're trapped inside on a cold dreary day, or enjoying their beautiful porch when the sun is shining bright, they have a way of making you feel right at home. I obviously always get a cocktail when I come. Of course, they are known for their beer, but they do have a few other options... And while they don't have a kitchen, they do have a strong lineup of food trucks that park out front, so you can soak up the booze with some tasty eats. I'm really in love with their newer rooftop space. It's beautiful and spacious. They've even been offering a pop up 'Work from Home" experience during the day. While put on by another business, I love the collaboration, which Seventh Son does extremely well. read more

The beer is fine. The party room upstairs is glaringly LOUD. It's the concrete floor. The room needs sound dampening panels. I was there yesterday for the Sip-n-Stitch event. a bit of history for this location if i may! i had a 1955 ford thunderbird and and i wanted to keep it original! this location was a tire company called the a w johnson tires-i found my wide white wall tires here! mr johnson wore a fedora hat shirt and tie and sports coat- a classy looking guy! he would personally get the tires from his storehouse and bring them out to the installer who then replace your old tires with his new ones! great tire at a great price ! so that's my bit of history for this location- pleas share this if you will as others might gat a kick out of this facilities history!! regards mike leyshon read more

Laid back brewery with multiple seating areas. The frozen Paloma was delicious and they let us try a few of the beers, varied selection. The staff were kind, very chill new age hipster feel. I used to think Seventh Son was just ok. My friends seemed to love it but when I'd go there I didn't find anything remarkable about it. Well that has changed now with the addition of the rooftop patio. It's a really cool space that has a retractable roof so it can be used in all types of weather. There is also a second full bar upstairs on the patio which is very nice to have. I noticed they also have an elevator to the rooftop patio which is good for people who can't take the flight of stairs. I'd say my only compliant is I went there to watch an OSU game and they only had a few TVs that were small and very high up. I think they should get a few more TVs and maybe one very large one that is more eye level. However, they did offer free nachos during the game so that was very appreciated. Update: today I took the tour which was well worth the 12 dollars I paid for it! Billy was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I had a great time learning about Seventh Son! My complaint about most brewery tours is you don't get to try any of the beers while on the tour. That is not the case at Seventh Son! I believe he let us try 4 of the beers and they were very good sized pours! Also we got to meet the assistant manager and he was very friendly and cute (it's a cat lol.) If you ever want to take a brewery tour I'd recommend this one. read more

Came around 3:30 for a little afternoon happy hour with my husband and baby. Initially we went upstairs, but it turned out that area was like a work from home space? So it was really quiet and almost awkward up there. Not to mention uncomfortably hot (even in December). Kind of odd but we just went downstairs and ended up having a great time otherwise. Proliferous and scientist are two of my favorite beers by them. Great friendly and fast service even while busy. A lot of windows letting in natural light and a dog friendly patio outside with fire pits. They usually have a food truck which is nice, but we didn't eat this time. read more

It was nice to have space for our group to chat and enjoy the evening sunshine! I tried the lemon kitty paw they had on tap, and it was pretty good, but not my favorite of the kitty paw seltzers. It wasn't as tart/lemony as I was expecting since many others, like lime guava, have such an intense and great flavor. We did enjoy dinner from the food truck on site, Zaki Grill, which was fantastic as well! I am very excited for warm weather to return to Seventh Sons and enjoy a frozen Paloma!! read more

I've seen this brewery on my way home from work during the summer. It always seemed like a fun spot. Always a ton of people, a food truck, outside spaces. It seems small from the outside, but they've got a huge room upstairs with a ton of tables, another bar, and some bar stools by the windows. They also have bathrooms upstairs too. You can take the stairs or an elevator to go up. It was pretty busy on a Saturday evening, but the bartenders did a great job spotting people ready to order. I got a flight: The Vision, Carpenter, Humulus, and Hadron's. I disliked all of them except The Vision. It's mixed with coffee and had the best flavors. Not sure why I was unimpressed with the rest. My friends love this place, so I'm sure there are other good drinks. They were all under 6% so maybe the higher percentage drinks are better? Wouldn't know. I love how they always have a food truck here. Saturday evenings, they have Dos Hermanos, which tastes pretty good. We sat in the upstairs room and had no trouble finding a table. It seemed to get busy and then the crowd got a bit lighter. It's a great place to hang out. There's so much space! It's definitely a selling point. Parking wasn't hard to find. We had parked a few blocks down but I'm sure you can find parallel parking easily if you come before peak time. Their parking lot is small and I don't usually see spots, but I'm sure a weekday would be a nice time to come as well. read more
