2nd Floor seating area - Spacious indoor seating area with large windows, hanging plants, and string lights, featuring wooden tables and benches, with two women seated and talking.

We were visiting family in town and they took us to Seventh Son (where they had their rehearsal dinner years prior!) - it was cool going back to the same spot, and seeing the second floor expansion. They have some fun/funky beers! I got the PURPLEHEART - Tart Dark Ale with Blueberries and MAN it was tart if that's your ~jam~! I love sours and it was a bit tart for me but very tasty. My husband got an IPA that he enjoyed. I like that they had a bunch of seltzer options too and fun merch. The second floor seating area is very fun - think fake grass, beach chairs and plants galore. Very fun spot!

Happy 11th anniversary, Seventh Son crew! We were there at year one and have celebrated so many great moments there. They have grown a lot over the last 11 years, but in all the right ways. Beers never disappoint, ambiance and crowds are always solid, and I always enjoy every visit (and as someone with social anxiety that speaks volumes.) You hire great people and make great beers. Well done and here's to many more! Also, the anniversary party was great - loved the bands and that it was a happy event with a friendly crowd. Love the new fire pits too!

Made a quick stop by last Saturday. Place has a fabulous vibe. Definitely helped that the weather was beautiful so the ambiance of the garage doors being open, the sun going down and the happy spirit of the place was very inviting. We had a couple drinks and some chips and salsa from the taco truck (yum!) My only complaint was the smell. I'm not sure what it was but it smelled like a mix between cleaning agent, bleach and vomit. We sat outside so it was not a bother but inside... They were hosting a private event so maybe it was that, maybe it was cleaning from brewing, maybe somebody did puke , who knows. It was stinky, but not enough to keep me from going back.

Was visiting my mom from LA and popped into this awesome brewery. Will def be back when I'm in town again. All the beers I tried were damn good, including the salted chocolate stout - I don't even like stout and I ordered it. Love that they had board games, lots of space, and a food truck out front. There's a downstairs and upstairs area. Awesome place.

I've been here a couple of times and have always had fun. I don't drink beer so I appreciate that there is a cocktail list. There is a small parking lot and street parking around. I love the patio space and I just found out there's an upstairs?! It's so spacious and has all of the aesthetics. Service was quick even with our huge party there for a rehearsal dinner!

Good place! Great bar area with plenty of seating at the bar or by it. Additionally, it has more room behind the bar, roof top or outside! The drinks tasted great and especially during this HOT day! One thing to note is that they don't offer food all the time, just check the site before heading-in with an empty belly.

Stopped by for drinks last night and it was our first time here. It was pretty cool - they had a food truck in their parking lot (parking is very limited but street parking is available), some seating in their first floor, but there's also more seatings upstairs in their rooftop. The bartender wasn't as friendly but he wasn't rude either. He simply asked us for our order and made it, no small talk or anything. Unfortunately, our visit was cut short. They lost power and were unsure of when it was coming back so they had to close early.

Seventh Son has a great patio. It's one of my favorite breweries to visit in the summer because of their awesome Paloma slushies. I know they have great beer also, but summer time is synonymous with frozen drinks when they're available for me! They have different food trucks depending on the day, and this is one of the more well-known food truck/brewery combo spots in the city. I have heard that they also host live events with live music from time to time, but I haven't checked one out yet. I'm looking forward to seeing what they have planned for the rest of patio season.

Finally made a stop here as a part of the Columbus Ale Trail. There are multiple levels to choose from but we stayed on the 1st floor since there was plenty of seating and a food truck. They have a rotating schedule of food trucks throughout the week. We had Elevated Wood Fire Pizza and it was excellent! We choose our own beers for our flight and we were surprised when the seltzer was our favorite. It had great flavor and it was nice and light. Also, if you pick up a passport and visit all three Seventh Son locations, you can recieve a shirt or a 6 pack for a dollar. Just another reason to visit!

Seventh Son Brewery has always been in awesome go to bar for hanging out with friends and the spacious and airy vibes in the place makes for an awesome time for drinking even before the pandemic. This place is close to home so I can walk there most days and it has parking as well. You can also park on the street for 3 hours. I love the workers here and they make banging cocktails. Social distance in place and many sanitizers to keep you good! Are you vaccinated, your in luck they have party rooms just for you! Having your own get together with your friends and family in the space is awesome! I always have a great time here and you can get beer and cocktails to go and there's the staple Dos Hermanos food truck to feed you! 5 stars!

Stopped by to check out Seventh Son as we'd heard good things about their beer. They have a spacious patio--dog friendly-- patio with a mix of picnic tables and lawn chairs. A server brought us over a water dish for the dogs as soon as we sat down. A food truck was in the lot also. They are directly across the street from the Budd Dairy Food Hall, so plenty of food options are available. Hubby had a sampler and found them all true to style and enjoyable.

It has a vibe that is conducive to conversation, and activities that are sure to keep visitors occupied and engaged. The area where it is located is reminiscent of the early days of the Short North area of Columbus before it was fully developed. I visited, for the first time with friends and was not disappointed. There are some food trucks nearby, offering a variety of items, and I would imagine most people would be able to find something that they like. There was not live entertainment present when we visited, but it appeared that The venue was laid out for such possibilities. this might be an OK place for a very casual first date depending upon the likes and personality of the person you are with. If you enjoy craft brewing, this should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Columbus. plenty of street parking is available and there are a few lots nearby. As a tip, many of the street parking areas use a system called Parkmobile, by which parking fees can be paid remotely using a smart app on a mobile phone that is so equipped.

Derive Brewing - The wings with the chili oil. Be warned that while spicy, it's not flavorful. Get a dipping sauce.

I got the Korean BBQ smash burger topped with Korean BBQ aioli, Cleveland Kraut Kimchi, gochugaru (korean chili flake) and scallion. I don't understand the smash burger craze since I like my burgers medium rare, but if I have to eat a smash burger to enjoy these toppings, I'm in! The heat, texture and combination of flavors were epic. The fries are well done too! They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and this was even after 30 minutes. Nothing fancy but done amazingly well and very quickly. My burger was out in a few minutes. I will say that the pizzas I saw coming out of the kitchen will have me coming back to try one of them. The beer was good, although I'll admit that the heat from the burger affected my pallet to truly enjoy the beers since I got a tasting flight. I was here on a Friday night between 5:45 and 7 and it was filling up until I was ready to head out. They do have happy hour on Friday from 2-5pm for $1 off pints.

I appreciate when walking into someplace I'm unfamiliar with, I am welcomed in graciiously, even though they don't know me at all. I ordered a flight of beer so I could try a few different beers. I also ordered a pint afterward of one of the IPAs I enjoyed. My server recommended some flavors to try while I was there and he was spot on. (I interacted with two different servers, one male, one female, both equally helpful and friendly). I would return, only in part for good beer, moreso it's the inviting feel I get from this place. This staff realizes that we have options around town and they made me feel like they wanted me there.

The focus on the beer was mostly on lagers, which I love. Only negative: the man pouring the taps there one of the nights has no clue what he was talking about. I asked him the difference between two of the bocks they had on tap (a helles bock and a maibock...debately the same style, if not very similar) and he said "how strong the Belgian yeasts are" in a very confident tone. I told him I had never heard of bocks being made with Belgian yeasts, and he said it's "a Cincinatti thing". I got a taste of the beer, and there were no phenolics (for non beer nerds: it had no Belgian flavors) so I ordered one and didn't argue.

We hit up several breweries on a recent trip to Columbus, and Hoster was my favorite beer of the trip. It was just well made, good tasting beer - nothing crazy. To top it off, there's bottomless self-serve popcorn and a vintage jukebox topped with a bowl of free quarters to play your favorite selctions from the decades. The collections of artifacts from Hoster's storied histories, make the walk to the bathroom like a visit to a mini-museum. I loved the homey decor and selection of tables, barstools, and comfy chairs. This place was somewhat family friendly, but it's not a huge space, so it's not great for tots that like to run around. I believe there might have been soooome seasonal outdoor seating, but nothing crazy. Lots of parking and easily accessible. The bartender was super welcoming, friendly, and generous! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't super busy - that was welcomed! Hoster is worth a visit if you're ever in the area. Their brews rival the big names in the area.
