New to Westerville as of January of 2025 -- LARGE space (both indoor and out) with plenty of parking. All the staff were nice. The beer was fine, I got the Mexican lager and thought it was easy drinking, although as someone who does not love hops there wasn't a TON on the menu beer wise for me to explore. It looks like they have a whole list of cocktails that sounded good. Inside there were picnic tables for seats that were very on theme. They also had mini fire pits at each table that you could use to make s'mores (they sell little kits). Definitely a kid-friendly brewery. Bathroom was clean and they supplied fem products so kudos to them.

A large brewery in Westerville with a huge patio and indoor space as well. The bartender was helpful in assisting me choose my flight, everything was fine, just nothing that particularly stood out. Lots of kids running around, even on a Monday, but they seem to have a lot of events and things going on. Good for them!

Campfire is a chill brewery spot in Westerville. It's back off the beaten path, like old nano breweries used to always be, but still polished and setup for a crowd. Weekend - we arrived a little after 6, hoping that we'd catch the tail-end of "kid-friendly" (since our kid opted to stay home) - it seems a little loose, but hopefully those parents cleaned up some, because there were some messes under those tables. The beer: four test batches. All ranging from decent to really good. Nothing to blow your socks off, but this brewery clearly has the basics down (the stout was a LITTLE thin, but goes great with a s'more!) The outside: looked like astroturf courts, fire pits, and lots of string lights. I dig it. Making best use of their space and giving a lot of parking. The inside: picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and bar seating. We lucked and landed at the bar, and there you witness all the s'mores options! Basically- this would be a great group spot to come visit and hang out. At the bar, we ordered a s'mores kit, and they brought over our own solo stove to roast them on! They were cooled - so it alters the graham cracker a little, but it's enough marshmallows and chocolate for a nice, melty s'more! I dig. It's close enough that I'll be back, and if it's in your driving range I'd suggest checking it out!

My wife and I went to Campfire on a very warm day, so we were unable to enjoy making smores. However, the beer selection is top-notch. Very impressive for such a small brewery. The flight pours were generous as well. The staff were very friendly and very responsive. It is off the beaten path. A very open space inside and out. I will definitely be visiting again.

Visited Campfire Brewing for the first time. Arrived when it first opened and was one of the first customers. The bar filled up fast as most tables and bar stools were full by the time I left. My friends and I sat at the bar and we were greeted by the bartender. I ordered a flight of 4 beers. The brewery recently opened and they were out of 3 beers. They had a few additional guest beers, but I went with their 4 available house brews. The flight pours were large. All of the beers were good but not great. My favorite was their Chocolate Stout. While I didn't love any of their beers, I want to visit again when they have more options. I am also interested in trying some of their Smores offerings. They also have an outdoor space which will be nice when the weather improves.

This brand new brewery is about to become your new favorite! Fantastic beer, cocktails, and s'more's treats! I love the background story of how the owners got this place started. I'd highly recommend the Winter Warmer beer it's delicious! If you prefer a cocktail, try the campfire old fashioned or Meg's dream! This is a great place to bring friends or the family! Once it warms up it looks like they have an amazing area for adults and kids alike! Family friendly till 7pm then it's 21 and over!

They are located a little off the beaten path but well worth the stop. I had the Hop Monster and it was delicious. Outside seating area and rotating food trucks.

Service is usually pretty good, especially during busy times when it's well-staffed. The atmosphere is great- it's upbeat and fun but it's not too loud. A handful of other people followed behind me. I informed the host I would like a table for 2 on the outside patio and we had a small dog with us. They asked if it was a service dog, which it was not. Host said they had to check. Upon their return I was informed we could not be served as only service dogs were allowed on the patio. I was a little puzzled by this as I have brought my dog to other establishments in Ohio with outdoor patios with no issue having a dog. After driving 9 hours, all my son and I wanted was a tasty meal which this restaurant looks to have. We ended up across the street at Liberty Tavern's patio with no issue having our pup with us. Per research I found: Outdoor Only: By Ohio health laws, pets are restricted to outdoor patio zones and are not permitted inside dining rooms or indoor bar areas (except certified service animals).

My usual order is the Reuben on rye with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and Russian dressing. It's always my go-to and never disappoints. I also recently tried the State & Main on rye with corned beef, pastrami, and coleslaw, which was another solid choice. I've heard great things about the Paesano on an Italian sub bun with ham, hot capicola, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, and Italian dressing (can be served hot or cold). A friend's favorite is the Figaboudit on grilled ciabatta with prosciutto, fig jam, goat cheese, and arugula. If you go, don't skip the homemade chips with the house-made sour cream and onion dip--it's easily my favorite thing on the menu and worth ordering as a side or appetizer.

The brewery has a large parking lot, which made it easy to stop in and relax after traveling. We ordered food from the El Catrin food truck parked outside, and it was absolutely amazing--we'll definitely be writing a separate review for them! The bartender was friendly and welcoming, and even gave us a booklet for the local ale trail, which was a nice touch. We tried a flight of five beers and sampled a few others as well. There was a good variety to choose from, and everything we tried was enjoyable. One of our favorite things was that the brewery is dog-friendly. They also have outdoor seating, which made for a great atmosphere to enjoy the beer and the nice weather. We'd definitely stop back the next time we're in the area.

I wanted to try several beers but was initially hesitant due to the price of their individual 5oz pours. The flight discounted those amounts. For the three beers that I landed on, they were all good. It's hard to choose a favorite, but the cinnamon-tinged Emotional Knapsack barely gets the nod over the Nuts for You and Heavy Hearted Amber. They seem to have a long-term partnership with Comida El Catrín food truck in the evenings, and that's a great decision because they're great in every way.

"No Soliciting " is a bar we found online - but didn't realize is a private club for members only. We tried The Pearl next door. They were closing in minutes. So we found that North High was the next closest place that closed at 10:00pm. We were also desperate for a restroom. We walked in - the place was devoid of customers - and the bar tender was NOT happy to see us. She had a very long day - and was yearning to "Just. Go. Home." We've all been there. She agreed to let us have one drink in plastic cups - completely understandable. But she messed up by letting us stay - completely underestimating the level of style & charm (not to mention handsomeness) my colleague and I possess *wink* . "One drink" turned into a handful. A good time was had by all. We hated that we had an early morning the next day - and had to return to our hotel well before we would have liked. I will make North High a "mandatory stop" on future visits (alongside my other "mandatory stop" - The Rusty Bucket for their buffalo chicken sandwich - with an extra side of buffalo). Side note - she gave me a taste of their Bloody Mary mix. *VERY* good. I used some of my dashing character and disarming baby blues to swindle them out of a bottle for only $15. It was worth $50. But this was a one-off deal. Don't walk in there expecting the same courtesy - unless you too possess unmatched panache & flair *finger guns*.
