A large brewery in Westerville with a huge patio and indoor space as well. The bartender was helpful in assisting me choose my flight, everything was fine, just nothing that particularly stood out. Lots of kids running around, even on a Monday, but they seem to have a lot of events and things going on. Good for them!

Campfire is a chill brewery spot in Westerville. It's back off the beaten path, like old nano breweries used to always be, but still polished and setup for a crowd. Weekend - we arrived a little after 6, hoping that we'd catch the tail-end of "kid-friendly" (since our kid opted to stay home) - it seems a little loose, but hopefully those parents cleaned up some, because there were some messes under those tables. The beer: four test batches. All ranging from decent to really good. Nothing to blow your socks off, but this brewery clearly has the basics down (the stout was a LITTLE thin, but goes great with a s'more!) The outside: looked like astroturf courts, fire pits, and lots of string lights. I dig it. Making best use of their space and giving a lot of parking. The inside: picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and bar seating. We lucked and landed at the bar, and there you witness all the s'mores options! Basically- this would be a great group spot to come visit and hang out. At the bar, we ordered a s'mores kit, and they brought over our own solo stove to roast them on! They were cooled - so it alters the graham cracker a little, but it's enough marshmallows and chocolate for a nice, melty s'more! I dig. It's close enough that I'll be back, and if it's in your driving range I'd suggest checking it out!

Visited Campfire Brewing for the first time. Arrived when it first opened and was one of the first customers. The bar filled up fast as most tables and bar stools were full by the time I left. My friends and I sat at the bar and we were greeted by the bartender. I ordered a flight of 4 beers. The brewery recently opened and they were out of 3 beers. They had a few additional guest beers, but I went with their 4 available house brews. The flight pours were large. All of the beers were good but not great. My favorite was their Chocolate Stout. While I didn't love any of their beers, I want to visit again when they have more options. I am also interested in trying some of their Smores offerings. They also have an outdoor space which will be nice when the weather improves.

Checking off another brewery from the ale trail passport.

My wife and I went to Campfire on a very warm day, so we were unable to enjoy making smores. However, the beer selection is top-notch. Very impressive for such a small brewery. The flight pours were generous as well. The staff were very friendly and very responsive. It is off the beaten path. A very open space inside and out. I will definitely be visiting again.

This brand new brewery is about to become your new favorite! Fantastic beer, cocktails, and s'more's treats! I love the background story of how the owners got this place started. I'd highly recommend the Winter Warmer beer it's delicious! If you prefer a cocktail, try the campfire old fashioned or Meg's dream! This is a great place to bring friends or the family! Once it warms up it looks like they have an amazing area for adults and kids alike! Family friendly till 7pm then it's 21 and over!

They are located a little off the beaten path but well worth the stop. I had the Hop Monster and it was delicious. Outside seating area and rotating food trucks.

I love State Street because of the vibe and options for drinks and food. This is located at the beginning (or end) of State Street depending on which way you come in. Located behind Co Hatch, there's plenty of parking. Walking in, the place reminds me of The GOAT locations, but just a wee bit more chill. The menu is definitely more expansive. We sat at the bar and at there were TVs around bar but not too loud. Just a comfortable place to spend a Sunday. Connor was helping us and I appreciate that he took our order without writing it down. AND it came out right! The couple next to us ordered the Cheese Curds as an appetizer and the portions are very generous. They looked amazing and we'll have to try them next time. We ordered the Blistered Brussels with Parmesan. Impressive. Not greasy. Crispy with a pop of flavor but not overpowering like some places. I'd say #3 of all the places we've tried. 12 Wings with Hot Honey and Honey Wheat bbq. Love the sauces on the wings equally. Just hit my flavor buds. Nice size wings. I would order them extra crispy next time is my only change. Really good blue cheese!! Sweet potato fries were flat crinkle cut and seasoned well. Peppery like I like. Side of BBQ for dipping. Oh yeah, true fat kid move. Honey Wheat Beer to wash out all down. Their own brew. Sarah had the Orchard Salad with Salmon and she loved it. All in all, at the same time said " We'll definitely be back!" There are so many items I want to try next time. With wine and beer, our total was $108 plus tip. More than fair for the amount and quality of food. We'll be back!!!

I wanted to try several beers but was initially hesitant due to the price of their individual 5oz pours. The flight discounted those amounts. For the three beers that I landed on, they were all good. It's hard to choose a favorite, but the cinnamon-tinged Emotional Knapsack barely gets the nod over the Nuts for You and Heavy Hearted Amber. They seem to have a long-term partnership with Comida El Catrín food truck in the evenings, and that's a great decision because they're great in every way.

We headed inside and grabbed a couple beers while we waited. I went with the Sharkbite Shandy--an American blonde ale mixed with lemonade and grenadine--and also tried the Super Lucy. Both were super refreshing, packed with flavor, and easy to drink. The Sharkbite especially had that perfect balance of sweet and citrusy without being overpowering. One thing I really appreciated--they offer free samples. That's always a great touch, especially if you're trying to decide or just want to explore something new without committing right away. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the kind of place you can hang out for a while without feeling rushed. Whether you're there for a quick drink or settling in for the evening, it hits that sweet spot. Overall, great beer, chill vibe, and solid service. Definitely a spot I'd come back to--and next time, I might stay a little longer.

The food is good, but stupid expensive. $25 cauliflower wings, check. Beer is good, as expected. $7 most pours, lower abv $6-$7. Service is often understaffed or just not interested in providing great service. Honestly kinda surprised they are still open, maybe due to lack of many options in the area. Less expensive food, a happy hour or great service or upper level staff to encourage great service could change this. I've not been there past 8pm, maybe it gets better later? I don't know.
