Probably from the grease from the burger. Fries were cooked exactly how I like them. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips. Our waitress was awesome! Very attentive and super friendly. Bella that's her name. The one big down side that would keep us from going back. Would be how loud the singer was. She had a great voice, but we went with friends. Met a couple friends here for drinks (and it turned into dinner). So, for starters - a decent amount of parking. GREAT space. Outdoor, upstairs, inside? Excellent layout. Service? My buddy arrived first, and chose outside (it was a nice day, and as the night went on they turned on the fire pits). Before I even got a chance to go inside and order a beer, our server popped out. Young dude, I didn't get his name, but he was phenomenal. Always checking in us, making sure we had a drink (even water), made solid food recommendations (prime rib sandwich was solid). The beers? I'd say 7/8 were really good. And the one that I don't like? Wasn't even bad! Beautiful space and clearly a lot of thought went into the design and atmosphere visually. The beer, to their credit, was very good. Unfortunately, once you sit down, the noise level becomes hard to ignore. The lack of music or sound absorption makes it feel more like eating in a high school cafeteria than a restaurant experience. The menu is not only extremely limited, it also feels oddly put together and somewhat random. Because of that, there really aren't good options for anyone with dietary restrictions or even mild preferences. For the price point, the value just didn't feel there. He was not interested in feedback. Instead, we are faced with disappointment from another menu redo. Even Lindey's would be embarrassed to try this level of arrogance on the menu. True Specialists should know some basics especially at that now even higher price point. Give us food without all the obligatory seeds, nuts, spices and cheeses. Wings should be wings w maybe a choice of sauces, not just confit blue cheese and sesame. $11 hummus should not be served with burnt bread and pita should be available without a $4 up-charge. $12 soft pretzel? Ribs shouldn't have tajin and jerk rubs. Burgers should have cool options and maybe, dare say, just one really good patty instead of 2 4oz overcooked smashed burgers - and at $21 w bacon, give me some toppings control! A Fish Reuben - cheese on fish? There's a place for refined but the redo falls short of enticing me to order. Again, it's just a place to grab a drink en route to a different meal but with the appetizer add-on sadly declined. We went on a Saturday night around 5:30 and did get seated right away. The food and drinks were just "meh." Ordered beers, but then were told most weren't available. Ended up ordering cocktails (sazarac and "She's a rainbow") that were ok, but weak and unbalanced. I had the prime rib sandwich that was bland....i don't understand how anything supposedly with horseradish sauce could be bland, but it was. Hubby said fried chicken was good. We both had 1/2 salad as our side, but the paper on the plate (why????) became soggy with dressing and ripped when eating the salad. There was a group of guys standing at the bar in everyone's way, and close enough to our table they could have shared in our meal. An adorable new lil brewery. But holy smokes Columbus, let's chill out on the breweries, shall we?! Where is anything else at?! I will say this location is perfect for any big event or large party. It is a massive two story brewery. Perfect location. I feel like Shawnee Hills needed this. Cutest little town. Prices are average, pretty comparable to any local Columbus brewery. Sizzling hot patio, although they have large umbrellas. A mix or older, families and date nights. I went with my parents and it was an amazing night. Awesome for any occasion. I definitely want to try their food next time. Service was great, staff was kind. Inside looked extremely packed and way too crowded. Tables are WAY too close together. It was SO loud in there. This was our third visit. The first we came for drinks and an appetizer, it was great and service was great. Second we came with friends for dinner, another great experience. Last night we returned for happy hour, not as great an experience...only person working the bar and at 3pm, when they opened, the bar with about 16 seats was full all at once. So we waited. Then we Discovered they were out of two beers we wanted to try. Finally, we wanted to order some appetizers and were surprised the menu was so limited from our previous visits and prices super high! We ordered a pretzel, for $12, it was doughy and very small. We were told a new chef took over and revamped the menu to make it more upscale. It appears that was code for higher prices, smaller portions and less choices. They had a good thing going and we felt disappointed because we loved it so much previously. read more

I went here with 4 of my friends and we had a great time. The food was amazing, the server did forget about us a few times but I won't hold that against her because it was VERY busy. Loved this bright, beautiful new addition to Shawnee Hills. Our server was great and I enjoyed trying a flight. Orange+Lemongrass was my favorite. I ordered the burrata SALAD from their salad menu and added salmon. I think this really needs to be on their appetizer menu and served with some bread. The plate was $24. My wife & I joined another couple for dinner & drinks last weekend. This was my second experience at Bridge's End, sitting at the bar on my previous visit. The atmosphere was nice, although the tables are a bit close together. The person seated behind me & I bumped chairs often (not a big deal). Drinks & food were good but regrettably, the service was absolutely dismal. Our server ("MH") kept disappearing for extended periods, as we waited to order another round of drinks, and then to order our food. I finally got up to find her, chatting by the kitchen with another employee. Hopefully our experience was an anomaly, & not the norm. Fantastic service, good is limited but what we had was good. Hubby had Prime Rib sandwich and for a change he couldn't eat his whole meal. I had the children's burger which was super juicy and tasty. My only downside, if you want to call it that. The kitchen was too busy to modify my burger by adding tomato and pickles. Not a huge change request so was a little disappointed. The food was fine once we finally got it - nothing special but fine. The problem was in the service or lack thereof. He took our drink orders right away and then disappeared for 30 min. We finally had to chase him down to get them and take our dinner order. sits like he had not clue about what he was supposed to be doing. Had a similar experience the time before but discounted it as a really busy afternoon. They desperately need a restaurant manager to monitor what's going on. Otherwise I fear this place may not last once the bloom of newness has worn off. For our part, we won't be back. Twice was enough. I don't tolerate bad service and being ignored. read more

It is the early days, so I will give some grace and see if things improve. Wonderful new build with lots of interesting sitting spaces inside and out. Parking is terrible given the size of the facility. Not sure how that got past Shawnee Hills. The beer, a main selling point for a brewery, was "meh." Mostly lager, no IPAs. Much better beer at Shawnee Station, Nocterra and Ill Mannered... all 2 - 8 minutes away. Bartenders do NOT know how to fill a beer glass from a tap. We watched several glasses filled with the tap nozzle submerged into the beer in the glass. Our bartender touched the rim of each glass when showing us which beer was which on our flight boards (gross). Clearly a lot has been invested in this new establishment. Hoping they make it through the early start-up hiccups. Also, a pint will cost $10 compared to $5-$7 at the above mentioned establishments. We did not eat here for our first visit, but some prices seemed very high for this type of place ($28 charcuterie board, $16 wings, $30 salmon).
