I was looking for a Brewery that I hadn't been to before. Voodoo brewing was one of the only ones open for lunch and I got super excited. There are so many beers on tap and also some local beers from other breweries. I really enjoyed sitting at the bar. There were three TVs and a very friendly bartender! I will definitely return! I REALLY wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt after reading some negative reviews. But, here I am agreeing with those reviews. I sat at the bar & have to say the bartenders were great. So I have zero complaints about them. I didn't have too much interaction with then because they seemed busy fixing the orders the servers screwed up. The servers knew nothing about the beer and one was even asking which button on the soda gun was the Dr Pepper. The bartender informed him they don't have Dr Pepper. They also seemed to be out of a lot of the tap beers. They screwed up another customers order and he ended up having to get his remade. Then asked to have it to go. I ordered wings that I didn't even get to eat at the restaurant. It took over half an hour and I ended up getting them to go. They were the driest wings I have EVER eaten! No flavor and VERY overcooked. They reminded me of the last rotisserie chicken at the grocery store that's been sitting there since the afternoon. The decor and concept is cool but the kitchen needs to get it's crap in order. I wasted $16 on those wings which ended up in the trash. The beer I got, Blake's blue raspberry, was pretty good and I'd recommend it. In the end, I won't go back which is unfortunate because it has a lot of potential. read more

Lacto kooler and their fleet of IPAs were all great. The food is what sealed the deal for us. The Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious for adult and kids alike. I'm so excited to give this new spot in Columbus a stellar review. Disclaimer: I did not try the food because I had just come from a happy hour. I went to Rossi with a friend and afterwards we wanted to enjoy the sunset outside on Short North. I had been eyeing Voodoo ever since I got back into town in August. We were greeted upon arrival, ordered our drinks, and then headed out to the patio. I love this place!! I got a black berry cider and my friend got a sour ale. Went there for happy with my wife, the beer and apps were really good. I really liked the crab dip. The bar tender was super nice. Unfortunately we sat by the bar and there were an alarming amount of fruit flies all around. It appears to be a known issue as I saw at least 6 fly catcher devices behind the bar. We decided to finish our food quickly once I noticed fruit flies landing on wife's my face. I grossed my out pretty quick. I hope this (the flies)gets corrected, I would give it one more chance to see if they got rid of the pest issue. read more

Horrible experience yesterday. Went for happy hour, they didn't get us waters until we were there for 10 minutes. We ordered flights of beers immediately when we got there, that also took 15 minutes to get the beers. (They took forever to let us know several beers were out) Food was so bad, pretzel was way too greasy, cheesy bread was really bad. Jalapeño poppers were okay. And so many flies the flying around everywhere, we literally were waving our hands around the entire time. Thought we would be in and out and ended up being there for 2 hours because of servers just standing around and not checking on us. Always heard about this place and finally stopped in last weekend. We will definitely be back. The food is amazing. Crab dip, pickle pizza, truffle fries, mac n cheese, even the salad with grilled chicken. Everything we had was delicious. This is such a cool place. Their employees are top notch. So welcoming and friendly. Teven makes the best drinks!!! His espresso martini is one of the best I have had. His margaritas are amazing as well. He takes pride in making amazing drinks from scratch! Poor service. Decent beers but the cocktails are weak. They are premade and when provided with feedback that it was watery the bartender didn't offer to make it right such as making a new drink or put it a little bit more alcohol in it. read more

Do not plan on going back. Just returned from dinner and the food was marginal at best. My husband and I ordered a pizza and it appeared to be a frozen Chef Boyardee product! Soggy crust and cheese on top was not bubbly. Worst of all, two people in our party ordered the same beer and they were served their beer in two different size glasses. One person at our table asked the waitress about the disparity and she told us it was up to the bartender to decide which glass made the beer taste its best and when asked said the charge would be the same even though one glass was missing a few ounces! My experience at voodoo brewing left me utterly wordless. I would've had a better afternoon if I jumped over the patio wall and ran out in the street. We sat outside under an umbrella that covered about 25% of the table. While baking in the scorching sun, we waited about 15 minutes to get asked what we would like to drink. About another 20 minutes to actually get our drinks (which were wrong but by the time they got to our table I forgot we even ordered any!) after finally putting our food, we got informed they didn't have half the food we ordered. So we ordered again, then got told they didn't have that food again. By this time I was dripping in sweat, I was seriously eyeing the half eaten nachos on the empty table next to us and planning a hate crime on a homeless dude because I was so hungry! The rest of my groups food finally came out...kinda shit but at least they got something! My food never came out but thank god because I would rather die of starvation and dehydration then give this embarrassing establishment any of my money! Overall, next time I'm considering eating here I'm gonna give 20 bucks to a tweaker on the corner to punch me in the balls because it'll be more satisfying than eating here again! read more
