I have been to Endeavor a couple of times now because a good friend lives around the corner from it. The bartenders are SO NICE! Molly is awesome. The interior is pretty big, with lots of space and high ceilings. They have bingo nights as well as some other fun event nights throughout the week. I'm not a huge beer person these days, but I did try one of their fruity soury beers that was pretty acrid for me, but then again, not really my style to begin with. They have some fancier cocktails that I wasn't quite ready to try at any point that I've been there, but they sound great. I'll check one out next time I'm in. The company of the bartenders alone is worth the visit. I took my laptop once and worked while my friends played bingo and I still left the bar having made 3-4 new friends. Thanks Endeavor! We go here as a team following our Krav Maga training on Friday nights. They always do such a great job taking care of us. The bartenders are always nice amd attentive. They have a wonderful patio with tables to enjoy when the weather is nice. They are super dog friendly. Many Friday nights they have a food truck outside. If there was anything I'd like to see to make my experience here better it would be for them to more consistently have a food truck there on Friday nights and start serving some basic whiskey options because I'm not much of beer drinker. Ordinarily, I feel like a lot of Columbus breweries are "great local spots." They're full. They're lively. They produce anywhere from "mediocre beer" to "pretty good beer" to "they grew too fast and their beer suffered." Endeavor is in that weird spot of having changed names (Zauber to Endeavor), having a brewmaster that left and came back. And then they started making liqour?! My, this place has changed. Staff: super friendly and attentive. Willing to guide you. Beers: good selection. A little different. (You're not going to find your cheap lager, but they have good flavors that are a nice twist - lemon lavender. Solid hefe. A couple more I haven't tried because I have limits). Liquors: a range of award winning liquors. I didn't try these (see above limits) but I tried the fireside smoked old fashioned. It's a top three- but not the best in town (High Banks and Worthington Tavern own that spot for me). All in all - I'm glad I came by. It was a refreshing taste of beer, and clearly they're doing well. So I have to make a point to swing by again. read more

Altura is a solid Latin Lager that I get every time I come. The Shaka IPA is also great. I don't think i've had a bad beer here. I picked up the phone and jokingly, with bartender, said let's see how long it takes for him to notice. Drank on the patio, went to restroom and commented to bartender that he hadn't noticed yet. Returned to patio to pet doggie on patio. Made second trip to restroom and commented to bartender "still hasnt noticed". Paid tab and pointed out he hasn't noticed. Left. Got to next place and phone started buzzing. Showed my buddy his phone only to find out he has his phone. Called Endeavor and said my buddy is returning the phone. He said thank you for doing that. My buddy gets there and is accused of stealing the phone by a manager there. Twice. A person who is returning the phone is called a thief. Either the bartender is a coward and claiming he had no knowledge or the manager is projecting her indiscretion on my friend. Obviously I cannot recommend. read more

I love coming to this little brewery! The staff is always so friendly. The atmosphere is super relaxed and the patio is just amazing in the summer! Quiet with the cutest little string lights. They always try to have a good truck at dinner time which rotates. The beer list is always rolling based on the season! So you never really see the same thing! This was our first visit here and definitely not our last! The bartender was super friendly and she explained to us that normally they have a food truck present, but we should up close to closing time. We ended up getting the beer flight to try out all of their in house brews. Each was great and their Nordic was som of the best I've had! Surprise: they also distill their own gin, vodka, and bourbon. Their dry gin was super smooth and packed full of flavor. They gave some unique items in their gift shop area and one of the best looking growlers I've seen. There are a ton of items with big foot on them so that's a huge selling point. Tuesday Night Trivia For the Win (or middle of the pack, but as long as you have fun you're a winner right !? ) To be completely honest, we came for the Trivia, but stayed for a couple of beers. I discovered Endeavor while scouting the internet for places in Columbus that still have an Active Trivia Night. I called to verify it was still going on, and I was assured that it was, and expertly advised to arrive early as seats quickly fill up and the place becomes standing room only (can confirm the validity of that statement). Trivia night with Fern was a good time and Endeavor has a nice selection of house brews, I tried the following 3: * Landhaus (Hefe): 4/5 - very smooth * Shaka (IPA): 4/5 - Very Sharp/Sour Start * YNDA (English Mild Red- Nitro): 3/5, not a huge fan, went out on a limb to try something different They have a great/friendly staff, and rotating food trucks if you're in the mood for a bite to eat. This is probably my favorite brewery patio in Columbus. They're dog friendly inside and out and there's plenty of space! They don't have a huge number of drafts on tap, but they do have a variety. Food trucks are here throughout the week. Each night has a different theme - Monday is Industry Night, Tuesday is trivia, Wednesday is donation, Sunday is brewga. I definitely want come back and try brewga! They're usually pretty packed for Columbus Crew soccer games. We stopped by on a visit from Pittsburgh, celebrating my boyfriend's 30th. The staff was SO friendly: endless samples of their beer and whiskey and providing a tour of the facility. Covid does crazy things to people sometimes. It's a tough time, and you would hope in a tough time America would breed tough people. For endeavor, the opposite is the case. I've been disrespecting many, many times in my life, yet I didn't quite expect to be so disrespected here. I will, however, wholly recommend this brew establishment for those who take comfort in being treated so rudely you forget why you came there in the first place. I'll sum up our experience quickly: Asked for a drink. Didn't receive it. Asked again. Nope. Maybe we were cut off? Either way I had one drink and that was enough for them, apparently. This was my second visit to Endeavor Brewing and I appreciate it for many reasons. First, their beers are really nicely crafted. So many times, these local craft beers taste watered down and generic; I really appreciated the s'mores beer and the Icelandic brew. They also had a smoothness to them that many other crafts do not. The venue itself is warm and inviting. The bartenders are knowledgeable about each beer and make solid recommendations. We were there on a Saturday at around 8 and it was quiet, but had a steady stream of customers. The bartenders dealt with the crowds in a swift, yet caring way. I do think that the tastiest are somewhat pricy. You don't pay a flat rate for the flight, but per sample. For some of those samplings, you are paying $5-$6 for 5 ounces. read more

We received an email from 614 Columbus magazine regarding a special event for this place. You pay $12 for a flight of 4 different beer to try and also a 10oz glass of the favorite. This was our first time here so we had no expectations and just wanted to check out the place and see if the atmosphere is something we would enjoy. Parking appeared to be easy, I got lucky and found a spot right on the side of the building. It was packed but I think were spots on the other side of the building as well. We walked in and was greeted by a few lovely ladies from 614 Columbus, we received our vouchers and headed straight for their bar. First thing that caught my eyes were the DOGS! I love a place that allows pets in and outside. They also had a good selections of beer on tap as well. The flight was actually a good size! 1 Flight of Endeavor Beers: Latin Lager, New World IPA, Hefeweisen, and Mojito Lager. I really enjoyed the Latin Lager and New World IPA. That's something I can see myself getting again for my next visit with my dog. The outside patio area is spacious with plenty of seating. They also had board games that you can play with. We had a good time playing scrabble and battleship while enjoying our flights. Very relaxing and chill atmosphere outside, nothing too rowdy. I was happy to see a wide range of brews - from a wit and gose to IPAs and a barrel aged wit. Whenever I see a brewery with a Belgian triple I have to try it. In my experience, if a brewery can nail a Belgian triple, the rest of their beer has to be good. Great news - they nailed their triple! I also tried the barrel aged wit and was impressed. They took over Zauber, and the base of the old brewery is still there. They did give the place a makeover with new seating, tables, and the base on the bar. It looks nice, and it still has the soccer theme mixed with their expedition theme. The music didn't match the look. The beer, most importantly, was solid. They don't have anything experimental, barrel aged, or infused. They had all the basics, and they were all good. I got 6 $2.50 5 oz tasters. I love breweries but this is one of my favorites. This was my first experience here and it did not disappoint. I walked in and instantly smelled mint and it smelled amazing. There weren't many people here which was great and the chairs are incredibly comfortable! I had a Garten Gose which wasn't bad. And then I decided to order the drink that was making the entire place smell wonderful and it did not disappoint. The bartender/chef? made this drink. Apparently he went to a Giant Eagle and bought a bunch of fruit to make this drink. It was amazing. I was told to eat the fruit. I was expecting the fruit to be soaked with alcohol but it wasn't. It was super flavorful and just downright delicious. I also ordered the cider mulled drink and the bartender told me he could improve it and how could I not say okay?! The vibe here is wonderful, the bathrooms were clean, and the bartenders are amazing and super friendly. They actually care and come and ask what you think of your drink! I'm so impressed I think this is my new favorite place. My only complaint is the minimal parking but they can't control that so...highly recommend! read more

We love endeavor! It's a great to have in Grandview and in walking distance for neighbors! The space inside is industrial and great for a gathering or a trivia night. The tables are picnic style. There's a lot of things on the menu here that I like, depends on the season but they're friendly about sampling if you really can't decide! It didn't seem as though people were spatially aware that others needed to get around them to order so it probably wasn't a good idea to stand at the bar to watch the game and/or socialize with one of the bartenders. The Garten, described as a sour, was not sour at all and left much to be desired. It's the bar in my neighborhood, but I'll be on the hunt for an atmosphere that's more laid back. From light and crisp lagers (my favorite- the Latin Lager, although I may be a little bias *wink wink*) to some mean IPAs. The vibes are super chill and casual, and the patio is pretty cozy. I didn't get a chance try out the food truck but the couple next to us was raving about the food. Our bartender was super friendly and he really knew his beers which was great. I did notice parking is very limited and because they are on 5th there is not really any street parking. Cool little brewery! Not a huge menu to choose from, but that doesn't bother me. Great atmosphere and great tasting beer. I only had one, but everyone I was with seemed to like their beer as well. It was super easy to find a parking spot because they allow you to park in the Goodwill parking lot if theirs is full which is awesome because trying to find parking in Columbus is a pain! We didn't stay too long because we were moving around to different breweries, but I'd go back to this one.
