Sixth Sense Brewing in Jackson turned out to be exactly the kind of place I hoped to stumble into on a hot early evening, especially after spending time exploring the Jackson County Courthouse. I was thirsty, a little worn out, and definitely ready for air conditioning, so the brewery's name felt almost prophetic. As if some part of me already knew a cold beer was waiting around the corner. And then it really was. I turned the corner, saw the sign and laughed at the coincidence. Weird, eh? Inside, the welcome was immediate. A friendly hostess found me a table with a power outlet, which is always a nice victory when you're traveling and trying to stay charged up. settled in for two hours that were genuinely pleasant. Two light beers hit the spot without knocking me out of ketosis, and the grilled boneless chicken "wings" were exactly the kind of simple, satisfying plate that I wanted after a long hot day. My waitress was lovely, attentive without hovering, and the whole crowd had that upbeat, easygoing energy that makes a brewery restaurant feel like a community space rather than just a place to grab a drink. After our hike, we came here to reward ourselves for getting 4 miles in while hiking. Food was good. The service was excellent and It got packed as the afternoon wore on. Place was an old Pontiac dealership, which was cleaned up (very nicely!). I am from South Webster just a hop skip and a jump away from Jackson, but now live in grandview heights. Will DEFINITELY be back to fill the growler, which I totally forgot. read more

What an absolutely wonderful lunch spot. I'm from out of town and asked someone where to go for lunch and they recommended this place. Plenty of seating options and beer options. As for food we had the cheese curds, the chicken nuggs, and the YMCA. Hard for me to determine my favorite thing as each was 10/10. Everything was hand made, fresh, and came out pipin hot. I could see this place being super busy later on as the day progressed but I was only there for lunch. This is a great place for hanging out with friends or even a first date. Special shout out to Kyelle! Fantastic service and great recommendations all around. There's plenty of parking behind the location but also a lot of street parking as well. Been here several times Murk Juice is a very good IPA, I also like the Blood Orange Wheat. Their Classic Hamburger is an adult Big Mac,absolutely love their Brussels sprouts.It's a sports bar w/golf simulator lot's of tv's awesome vibe. Well the wife and I took a little motorcycle ride out to Jackson Oh and decided to stop at Sixth Sense Brewing and let me tell you. We wasn't disappointed! We chose a appetizer the cheesy pickles egg rolls and lord have mercy they was delicious! The cheese was melted yet the pickles still had a good firmness to them and that made them a win in my eyes! My wife had their special which was a Tuscan turkey melt She loved it. Full of flavor and the perfect size! She also had the bacon ranch potato salad. It was good but we both thought it could of had a little bit more ranch or mayo to make it a little more creamy because it seemed to be not enough to us! Still tasted delicious. I chose the bacon jam pimento cheese smash burger and it tasted amazing thr bacon jam along with the pimento cheese was a exceptional combination! The house fries were really good too! They have several beers on tap and in cans I decided to have the bourbon-oak-foresight! A dark beer but very tasty! Our server was Amber I believe and she was very knowledgeable on their beers and foods and attentive well worth the drive or time to stop in if you want to have a cold beer and good burger. It has a sports bar atmosphere which i don't mind and they seem to have plenty of seating. I also believe they have a larger room for large parties but I'm not 100% sure on that. Haven't been here in a few years but we were pleasantly surprised at how friendly everyone was. We sat at a picnic of table with our dog and had a lovely and attentive waitress check in us quite often. We had a flight of beers and both found something we really liked. The pretzel was great along with the spicy chicken and smash burger with frisco sauce. We will definitely go back even with it being an hour drive. read more

We haven't tried quite everything on the menu, but we've got to be getting close. From out of nowhere, this place has quickly become our go-to for dining close to home. A 15-20 minute drive & we're there for drinks/dinner/trivia/whatever. The service has always been above average & they make a great bloody mary. read more
