Pretty cool brewery to pop into. Friendly service and live music as well. I got the golden ale and it was delicious!

I've been here a couple times and have always had a pleasant experience. It's usually pretty busy but there is outdoor seating. A few tables are standing tables. Some of the large glass panels that make up the outer wall to the breezeway open which is really nice. Variety of sandwiches but not a variety of food. Drinks are always good.

I'm really happy that West Virginia has started getting onto the craft brewery wagon, I've been waiting for them to catch up for over a decade. This is a step in the right direction. I've tasted thousands of beers and logged them on Untappd. I've never had a beer here that screamed, "wow! You must buy more and take them home!" Maybe they could partner with Greenbrier and or make their own Mothman IPA clone or something alone those lines. They are new and still learning so maybe they'll have a hit one day. FYI, I have tried everything on the menu here as well as a few limited release beers. The food here is pretty good, 4 stars I'd say. Plates and portions are a bit small. And for the fancy food I can't believe they only serve chips as a side! Ugh, the worst side you could ask for! If you can make the other food, please get some better sides than over salted well done chips, please please please. The vibe is totally awesome and make this place a great pick to hang out. Interior is beautiful. Couple bathrooms spread throughout. But a huge patio with tons of seats with the park on one side and ice cream on the other.

We were passing through Charleston on a very rainy July afternoon. I have my Catahoula with me so my choices for food are limited. This brewery welcomed my doggie inside. I got a brown ale and my daughter got a sour. Both beers were very good. There were seven of us altogether and we got various grilled cheese sandwiches, a salad and a wrap. I got the Brewtus which was recommended and it was very good. I had it on toasted sourdough bread instead of multigrain and was pleased with my choice. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to relax with some good beer. The food is very good too if you're hungry. I was hoping to take a picture of my sandwich but sorry, it was a long drive from Atlanta and I couldn't resist.

Great beer selection and friendly service. There's a good amount of TVs for your viewing pleasure and also great outdoor seating. Lastly, I loved my curry chicken salad sandwich. It was so chocked full of goodness with great flavor. Definitely stop in.

I loved that I could get a gluten free grilled cheese so I got 2! I got the prosciutto and pepper jelly which was amazing but my favorite was shockingly the BREWTUS. They were super knowledgeable and the did tell me that the chips and dip weren't gluten free!

    Delicious sandwiches.

Traveling back from Tennessee to WV we found a gold mine! I mean near the golden dome of the capital we found a fantastic place. Fife Street Brewing fit all our requirements. Good food and great beers. On top of that the service from Courtney and Jacob was friendly, kind and considerate. Courtney even laughed at my sense of humor. We had the Quartet Grilled Cheese with chips, the French Chip Soup du Jour and also the Choke and Cheese with salami and chips. The serving area and bar were clean and decorated very nice. A lot people were there and we were greeted by a couples Great Pyrenees.

I absolutely loved this place! I got the nachos and the Greek Fife Salad, and I was incredibly impressed. My mouth is watering thinking about the salad. It was very fresh, all the ingredients combined made for a very flavorful bite. The nachos were INCREDIBLE. Probably the best nachos I have ever had. I particularly enjoyed the kimchi buffalo chicken dip. That was the best part but overall, I was very impressed with everything. I was a little confused on how to order but quickly figured it out and the server was very nice and patient! I am not a drinker by any means, but the food is highly satisfactory!

What a cool spot! Downtown Charleston did not disappoint. We scored on some discounted merch and thoroughly enjoyed the beer.

It was good but overpriced for what it is. if you like alcohol this place is for you because they have a good selection but i am not 21 so i just had the food. I got the crab rangoon grilled cheese and it was alright just a lot. the staff wasn't the friendliest. i was sure how to order and they seemed irritated with me asking. the place is nice only a little trash on the floor but nothing crazy. the tables are very wobbly though.

What a great find. The beer is good but the food is absolutely great. The servers were friendly and informative about the beer. Nice place to sit indoors and out. Again the food is great.

So glad we stopped in here!! We were passing by on our visit through downtown and decided Fife was a fun place to try. The staff here are so friendly! I ordered an awesome Kettle Sour (prickly pear) that was so good. There is tons of in/outdoor seating options, low and high tops as well as tons of bar stools. This is an inclusive brewery that is PRIDEFUL ! Lots of cute merch to buy and tons of games to play, as well as tv with games on.

In charleston to visit family and friends and went to Fife Street to have beers and an app. It was such a good experience and the chips and dip tasted great! Ambiance over looks the street and pretty new developed area. Definitely recommend visiting when in the area!

Even once we were seated the server was telling us that the kitchen was a bit backed up so that is why our food was taking a little longer. Our waitress was nice and friendly. She gave us honest opinions about the items on the menu, which is always great to have. We ordered the Meggie's Bread Sticks with Cheese as our appetizer. It was delicious, especially with the added cheese. It came with some red sauce stuff to dip the bread sticks in. The pizza we got was the 14 inch Gladiator. It had 6 slices. It was good, but a bit messy (and hot when it first came out). At the end we ordered the Backyard Hay Stack (minus the nuts). That was really good as well and we devoured it. The ambience was good. It was a little loud, however it was crowded. There was a little astronaut theme going on here. I recommend coming to Backyard Pizza.

We met a former WWE wrestler who was sitting at a table, too. But back to the restaurant - the flavor is there. My one issue the bottom of the pizza dough was very flimsy on both pizzas we ordered (Kale braised and the gladiator) so the cheese and toppings slid right off when taking the first bite. Like I said the flavor is there though. Had the peddler red IPA and it was terrific. Also had a very tasty kale salad. If they get a nice soft but firm bottom to the pizza slices, this place would be a 5/5. Would we return, yes!

Along with Garlic Cheesecurds. Then as I had teased Gabby our severer I would follow coffee with donuts. I had the Donut Stout and my spouse had the Mexican Lager. So of course we had to have the Bavarian Petrels to go with it. Of course by this time the creative ideas start to flow so our next choice was a beer we shared a 1/4 of coffee stout and 3/4 of donut stout. Oh my! Good thing I am retired or this would my coffee choice each morning! We both loved the mix and then I talked to Zach about how I hoped both will be available in January when I am back in the area. He liked my input or talked like he did. I am so glad that we have a local brewery for when family come in but that we can stop by and say Hi. So when it comes to service it was excellent, thank you Gabby. When it it comes to the food it was awesome and the decor. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time. It wasn't very busy, especially for a Friday night, but service still felt like an afterthought. Our bartender/server seemed much more focused on pouring herself beers and chatting than paying attention to customers. There were two people behind the bar who were also serving tables, but most of the time it felt like they were more interested in hanging out with their regulars than checking on guests. They were out of traditional wings, which was disappointing. My husband said the boneless wings weren't very good. The homemade salsa and beer cheese were actually the highlights and were both really good. The rest of the food missed the mark. My chicken Caesar wrap came with soggy chicken and tasted like it had been drenched in Italian dressing instead of Caesar. The fries were limp and soggy. We spent what felt like forever trying to get someone's attention just to ask for ranch so we could add some flavor. The beer itself was decent, and I'd probably come back for that. But based on this visit, I wouldn't come back for the food, and I definitely wouldn't go in expecting good service.
