First time dining here. I was in the mood for something different. I've driven by here a couple of times and was curious about it. I went with the Mac Daddy chicken sandwich combo. Although I chose to take mine today, the dining room was small but nice. What stood out to me was the lady working the counter. She was so friendly, welcoming and nice. She made me feel right at home. The fries were incredible! Best I've had in a long time. I was disappointed in the chicken sandwich. It was drowning in thousand island. In fact, all I could taste was the thousand island dressing. I would recommend they put it on the side and let the customer decide how much. It kind of ruined it for me. They were really pushing their breakfast items, so I got the impression that may be more their forte. If I came back, that what I'd be willing to try. Stopped by on a Saturday early evening with 2 others. It was empty at the time we arrived but people slowly trickled in as it got closer to dinner time. The service was great - the server/cashier was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Philly Steak and a Red Bull Slushie. The sandwich was solid. I especially loved each of the toppings (mushroom, onions, peppers). It wasn't the best Philly I've had but tasted pretty good. The drink was alright. I needed an energy kick and wanted to try it. Can't expect much. Half a can of Original Red Bull mixed with shaved ice. They gave me the other half of the Red Bull which was appreciated. I suggest they offer more flavors and sugar free options of Red Bull as my friend wanted to try it too, but she only drinks sugar-free. Overall, we had a good experience. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was good. I would recommend trying the Philly Steak. In the future, I'd love to try more menu items when I'm back in town. Prices are reasonable! The recommendations for top sellers were #1 Chicken sandwich combo & #10 Gyro combo. The chicken was good size, breaded & fried with cheese sauce. I added pickle & lettuce with tater tots. After driving to Circleville in hopes of finding some gem or a local restaurant and finding nothing that interested us, we returned to Columbus, starving and this was the first place we saw that we hadnt been to.... The staff has the energy that makes you feel they really care about the place, food and their service. It is clean: dining room, kitchen, bathroom. Staff was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. You order from an overhead menu at the counter (much like a McDonalds) but after you order they bring it out to you. We ordered a Marion Village and a Chicken Little w/fries. Omg. The fries are the star of the show. Yum. You want fries that have a little bit of crisp to them, but aren't over cooked or burnt.... Go here! They even have a drive thru. If you like salt you need to ask for it. They come without and honestly don't need it. That good!!!! The Marion Village is essentially their take on a gyro. It had grilled peppers/onions which trad gyros dont have. Lots of feta. The meat was generous, tender, not dry at all. The tomatoes were fresh. It had a sauce but it was not Taziki, not sure what it was but it was okay. Like I said, its their take on a gyro. I got the Chicken Little... solely because it was grilled chicken. That is a regular sized wrap with chicken, iceburg lettuce, cheese and dressing. The cheese was a liquid whiz type of cheese. I did not enjoy that element. I found the chicken not to be seasoned. For me the sandwich flavor didn't work. However every element was fresh it was merely personal preference that I didn't like the menu item. I saved half of it and when I get home will put franks wing sauce on it and I bet I love it. I should of ordered the Marion Village with chicken vs gyro meat. We came by for breakfast/ lunch before our drive back to Chicago as we read such great reviews all weekend and folks were recommending the restaurant to us. The restaurant has plenty of parking, and even has a drive through for quick service if you needed to get your meal to go. We decided to dine on the patio as we had our pup with us. We went inside and ordered and our food was brought out to us shortly after. I got the avocado toast and my husband got the biscuits and gravy. To my surprise, my avocado toast was more like a blt sandwich than a true avocado toast. It still tasted great but just wasn't really what I had expected. My husband got the biscuits and gravy it came with hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon and an English muffin cut in half for the biscuits and gravy. In both meals the ingredients were super fresh, and the bacon was really crispy. But the biscuits and gravy felt like it was missing something or that there was tooo much gravy for the smaller biscuits. All in all we had a great time, and I would love to come back and try other menu items when we're back in town. read more

When walking in, you are immediately greeted by smiling staff who are ready to serve you at the register. The cafe offers an extensive menu. My husband ordered the Breakfast Burger and Fries, our daughter ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, and I ordered the Breakfast Gyro Wrap. My husband and I both really enjoyed our meals! Our daughter's biscuits were tough and tough again when remade so she just tried to enjoy her meal the best that she could. At least she had fries - these were crispy and fresh. My husband had the special of the day which was a roast beef sandwich. I had a bite of it and it had an amazing flavor and the bun had a delightful crunch. His meal was probably the better choice. Relatively short menu, but very concise. And, let's face it, folks, so many places over too many items at meh flavor, instead of focusing on a smaller menu and nailing it to perfection. And it's always nice to promote local as opposed to chain/fast-casual restaurants. Their breakfast menu is served all day, so I tried their Breakfast Wrap. Delish! No, nothing showy, just simple tasty BEC. Oh, and the gal manning front of house - was making good use of her time to straighten, stock, and clean up - kudos to her! Cute outdoor patio on the side. There's a drive-thru here and plenty of parking in their lot and street. Not too crowded on a Sunday evening, but that's understandable for its location over the last 30 years in Merion Village. My mom always talked this place up so today she took me through the drive through. Lady taking our order was rude and very short. Then we waited at the window of the drive through for 30mins...when they finally gave us our food the lady literally didn't say anything no "thank you" no "have a good day" just a rude glare. So because we waited a half an hour my mother obviously checked the order. She opened the top box which revealed the biscuits and gravy we ordered which I can only describe as a broken up biscuit with a teaspoon of gravy on it that was all stuck to the newspaper looking piece of plastic on the bottom of the container. We found this through Yelp and, once again, the yelpers were so right! We had the Mack Daddy, Philly Steak, and Greek Gyro. All excellent. They had several special menu items and we got the Greek fries (I think that's the name). Delicious fries topped with tzatziki and feta. The guy that took our order was so nice. I did the Too Good To Go app for this location. On the app you pay a discounted rate of $6 dollars for $18 dollars worth of food. You pick this up within the last hour of closing to receive food that is leftover from the day to help limit food waste. I received a wrap of $9 dollars and that was it. I know this was still a deal, but it is not what is advertised of $18 dollars worth of food. We asked the staff about this and there was poor customer service. She acted like she didn't know what we are talking about and did nothing about it. I for sure would not use this app at this place.They provided false advertising and shouldn't be allowed to use a feature like this and provide false hope. She was also complaining in the back about work and cleaning that needed to be done in front of customers. I hope this finds the right audience to correct these mistakes to improve customer service for future customers. read more
