The food was great, and the service was good too. The lady at the register was so sweet.

In the area do decided to try something I haven't had in a while. There's a large parking lot with plenty of space. Just a few seats inside if you want to sit in. No public bathrooms? That's a strike. I ordered the Jerk Chicken meal with cabbage and Mac n cheese. Beef patty on the side. It seemed to take 25 minutes for my food to come out. There were 2 other customers also waiting to pick up. Seemed a little long. I decided to take mine to go. The flavor of the Jerk Chicken was good and the portion was nice. Not too hot like some places. But what's missing is that grill flavor. The chicken was tender but jerk needs that kick that you get only from a grill. Also, not chicken pieces but what seemed like diced chicken thighs, no bones, swimming in sauce. The cabbage was about as expected. The Mac n cheese was the star of the plate. Gooey and cheesy but buried under the mound of chicken. I could still enjoy the cheesiness. Buried under the heap of chicken and sauce was a burned portion of cheese which put a smile on my face. The best. Honestly I polished off the Mac n cheese and left about 1/3 of the chicken and 1/2 the cabbage. I was a little over the flavors. The Beef Patty was good, no complaints. My total was $21 with tip, no drink. Not the best bang for the buck IMO. There are authentic options in Columbus with the same portions, grilled and bone in, for slightly less money. I've never left a crumb at those places. So I give this one a solid 3 stars. read more

If you want to dine in, don't do it unless you wanna wait 45 minutes for your food. If you are craving some jerk chicken, please just call them place your order to pick up later because they don't care if you wait for 30 minutes or an hour for your food. They have several signs on the walls stating that they take time to finish the order, but they are taking it way too far. The food is not bad, the service is awful. Even though if you pick up your food and decide to eat at the restaurant, I do not recommend it. The tables are really uncomfortable and the ambience is a little bit neglected if you will. read more

A new Jamaican restaurant on the east side of Columbus is so refreshing! As you enter the building the aroma hits your nose in the right spot. Based off the design of the inside you instantly know your about to get some Jamaican food. The look is simple but its perfect. The vibrant colors pop, and theres palm trees on one side to remind you where you're at. Now what we all came for, the food. I lived in south Florida for a long time. I've had my share of oxtail and I must say these oxtails are easily in my top 3. It's a complete flavor bomb in your mouth! In my experience oxtails are usually on the sweeter side or the spicier side. They figured out how to throw both at you. I will say though the sweetness is just right but the heat does have a little kick. I can't speak for the other dishes yet but I will be returning to try the entire menu! Yes, I am that impressed! This was a door dash order so I was pleased with what I received. My food was hot and the chicken was tender and plenty of it the cabbage was tasty the cornbread was delicious. I wanted jerk wings but they were out so they sent me jerk egg rolls first time I've had these they were huge and tasty. I had enough to have for later . I would have rather had a second side instead since they charged more for the egg rolls but since they weren't bad it was ok . I would order again to try other items on the menu. read more

Seen a few times in passing and finally stopped in. My 10 year old took one bite of the macaroni and fell on the floor (pretended to faint). It was delicious! We rarely get to taste these flavors out here and when we did it felt so good for the soul. The price was worth OK if you ask me. I think for being a small business and cooking with heart like that - the prices are valid. Pricey yeah but people pay that for a pre-heated Drive thru meal and don't blink. Daughter had Rasta Pasta. Spicy but savory. It was good but she preferred my meal. I hope people continue to visit and hope they continue to grow as a business. It's a nice place. I was on LinkedIn when I came across a sign business showing a portfolio of their recent work. One of the signs they designed and installed was for this establishment. Aside from the sign they posted, they also showed some of the dishes they made here. It was then I decided I was going to visit. When I walked into the restaurant, they had Caribbean music blasting. I was hesitant because it was pretty empty inside, but I soon realized that I went at a time when most people were at work. The two individuals greeted me at the counter, and they helped aid me in making my decision(s). I ended up getting the salmon Rasta pasta and jerk Chicken with cabbage and rice and peas. My selections had a decent spicy kick but had a good amount of sweetness to them. I love my meals to be savory for the most part and am not a fan of sweet meals, especially pizza, but these dishes changed my view on that. I can't wait for my next visit to this place; as a matter of fact, that may be tomorrow. read more

I just noticed this opened a few weeks ago and had to stop in, since I love jerk chicken! The inside is pretty spacious, but there's only a few tables and a lot of empty room. They could make a pretty nice dining area over time. The menu is pretty streamlined with jerk options of a few different meats, but they also have a special each week. On top of that, they're serving tasty Jamaican beef patties as well. I figured I'd get a baseline and go with the jerk chicken with beans and rice, and they recommended the cornbread. The chicken was great, and it could definitely be a bit spicier, but I'm told you can ask for it that way if you like. The rice was a little dry but tasty once I mixed it in with the jerk sauce. I was a big fan of the cornbread. It was a bit sweet and moist, and I haven't found a lot of good cornbread around Columbus. I went with a spicy beef patty as well, and that was delicious and nice and flaky! It wasn't super spicy, and I wish there was a little more filling, but it was packed with flavor. I'll definitely come back to see how this place evolves. It's a good spot, and even though it's set a little far back, you can see the colorful sign from the road. I believe this started out as a food truck, so it'll be interesting to see if the menu continues to expand, and I think they could make the dining room really colorful and a nice place to eat in. read more

Excellent food with excellent customer service! We stopped here between site visits and tried some seriously good Jamaican food! Didn't know what to get so I went with that days special! It didn't disappoint one bit! That sweet corn bread jerk chicken is some next level stuff! I hope I get a chance to go back here before we leave Columbus. read more

This place was recommended to me and I thought I'd check it out. Upon entering, place was clean, spacious with a few tables along the left and right walls. There's a small refrigerator with various drinks available (water and soda) next to the counter in the back. I was promptly greeted by a friendly lady and ordered the jerk chicken meal with Mac n cheese, cabbage and added corn bread and a spicy beef patty. I also ordered my fiancé the chicken Rasta pasta. I was given an order number and waited less than 10 mins. When my order was ready, the friendly lady called me up and showed me each order before bagging it (nice touch). It was hot, fresh and made to order. Now for the taste test. The jerk chicken. The was a nice portion and wasn't too spicy as some jerk chicken can be. It was delicious. It had just enough heat and just a hint of sweetness. The Mac n cheese was a healthy portion and was better than I expected. It's a baked mac n cheese style. The cabbage was not my fav as it was a little too sweet with a hint of spice. I prefer my cabbage a little more savory. I'll try another side next time (there will be a next time). The chicken Rasta pasta was excellent. Honestly reminded me of a Cajun chicken pasta if you're looking for an example. It was spicy but with a hint of sweetness. The cornbread was just ok. Tasted better after I warmed it up. Beef patty was really good. Options were mild or spicy. Wish it would've had more beef stuffing. Overall, really enjoyed the food. I was just driving down 256 waiting for something new to jump out at me and I saw this place! It's in a strip mall and I hadn't noticed it before, so I parked and went inside. The interior is decorated with bright yellow paint and Jamaican-looking painted artwork on the walls. It's pretty minimal and almost seems like it's not quite fully set up yet, otherwise it's a large space for what seems like a mainly carryout type of spot. I placed my order at the counter, and left for a few minutes to check out another store in the mall while I waited. I was looking for a snack so I ordered their stir fry with 1 side, the mac n cheese. The stir fry was really tasty, with freshly cooked vegetables, tender chicken, and an absolutely delicious sauce! It was seasoned to perfection. The mac and cheese was good, but needed a little creaminess to it for me. It did have yummy baked edges though, and I still ate it all. The portion of the overall meal seemed a little small to me for $13, but I think I would definitely still return for the flavor of that stir fry-- yum. read more

If you are looking for authentic Jamaican or Caribbean food this is NOT the place! The food is a scoop and serve with Jamaican spices. It lacks authenticity, flavor, and value. The portion are small and overpriced. There is a weird sweetness that is in every dish. The jerk chicken did not have grill flavor. I spent around $50 and had to get food from elsewhere to eat for the evening. However the customer service was wonderful, but it was not enough to warrant a second trip. The wait to order wasn't long and it took about 10 minutes to get the food so you know it's cooked to order. We tried the Jerk Chicken Stir Fry w/ Rice and Peas ($14), Plantains($3) a Mild Beef Patty ($3) Jerk Chicken and Shrimp Rasta Pasta ($20). Everything was sooo good! I don't know if I came at a bad time but this place was not at all what I expected. The jerk oxtails were tough, the rice and peas had no flavor, the cabbage was great, the honey cornbread was okay (nice and moist, but still just a basic cornbread) although I do appreciate that they gave me 2 pieces, and the spicy beef patties were stale-ish. They were also out of Mac and cheese which I was super bummed about. The customer service was okay. I give the overall rating a 5/10 read more

I ordered Uber Eats pickup because the site said order will be ready in 10 minutes. I called the restaurant to check on something, was asked to hold. After 12 minutes I hung up. I checked in at the counter on arrival and was told the order was not ready yet. This was at 20 minutes. After 30 more minutes I checked the counter again and got the same answer. At 1 hour and 20 minutes after placing the order I told them if it isn't ready they can keep it. She pulled it off the pickup shelf never having called my name to pick it up. The food was cold when I got home. Although the food was tasty, the service is unacceptable. read more
