Food was pretty good. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Our eggs were a bit runny even for a wrap and omelette. But the price was great and taste was there!

Cute little restaurant. Friendly service. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Give it a try.

Can't order or see menu through drive-thru. No menus were posted online either. The food has been really good in the past. First time trying the new menu.

Philly Steak

Stopped by on a Saturday early evening with 2 others. It was empty at the time we arrived but people slowly trickled in as it got closer to dinner time. The service was great - the server/cashier was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Philly Steak and a Red Bull Slushie. The sandwich was solid. I especially loved each of the toppings (mushroom, onions, peppers). It wasn't the best Philly I've had but tasted pretty good. The drink was alright. I needed an energy kick and wanted to try it. Can't expect much. Half a can of Original Red Bull mixed with shaved ice. They gave me the other half of the Red Bull which was appreciated. I suggest they offer more flavors and sugar free options of Red Bull as my friend wanted to try it too, but she only drinks sugar-free. Overall, we had a good experience. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was good. I would recommend trying the Philly Steak. In the future, I'd love to try more menu items when I'm back in town. Prices are reasonable! Parking: Free parking lot at the restaurant!

Service was friendly and nice. Food was hot and fresh, not long of a wait. The inside was nice and warming. First time trying it and would definitely come back!

Gyro combo

Very friendly staff, gave us the rundown on menu options. They have breakfast & lunch available. We arrived around 2 so we opted for lunch. The recommendations for top sellers were #1 Chicken sandwich combo & #10 Gyro combo. The chicken was good size, breaded & fried with cheese sauce. I added pickle & lettuce with tater tots. The gyro was a perfect portion of lamb, feta, diced tomatoes, lettuce & tzatziki sauce. Fries & tots were amazing. My only suggestion is to change from Pepsi to Coke products lol

I used to get wraps like this in high school, so they're probably getting some points for nostalgia, but the two times I've been here the food has been good and appropriately fresh, and I appreciate the drive-up window option for COVID safety. I don't go this way that much, but it's an excellent option for a quick stop for lunch.

I am so glad I found this hidden and local treasure in Columbus! The food is delicious and freshly prepared!! The staff is super nice and kind! Their owner is friendly to the customers and the staff! You can tell they love what they do! You should definitely give it try!! They are now on my top 5 places in Columbus! *The pasta was another visit I made for dinner after work I told you am excited about them!

Chicken Little with fries
Laura F.

After driving to Circleville in hopes of finding some gem or a local restaurant and finding nothing that interested us, we returned to Columbus, starving and this was the first place we saw that we hadnt been to.... So we said yes to the experience of Star Kitchen. Let me start out: this place is well managed and the food is a very good value. You get a lot for your money. The staff has the energy that makes you feel they really care about the place, food and their service. It is clean: dining room, kitchen, bathroom. Staff was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. You order from an overhead menu at the counter (much like a McDonalds) but after you order they bring it out to you. We ordered a Marion Village and a Chicken Little w/fries. Omg. The fries are the star of the show. Yum. You want fries that have a little bit of crisp to them, but aren't over cooked or burnt.... Go here! They even have a drive thru. If you like salt you need to ask for it. They come without and honestly don't need it. That good!!!! The Marion Village is essentially their take on a gyro. It had grilled peppers/onions which trad gyros dont have. Lots of feta. The meat was generous, tender, not dry at all. The tomatoes were fresh. It had a sauce but it was not Taziki, not sure what it was but it was okay. Like I said, its their take on a gyro. I got the Chicken Little... solely because it was grilled chicken. That is a regular sized wrap with chicken, iceburg lettuce, cheese and dressing. The cheese was a liquid whiz type of cheese. I did not enjoy that element. I found the chicken not to be seasoned. For me the sandwich flavor didn't work. However every element was fresh it was merely personal preference that I didn't like the menu item. I saved half of it and when I get home will put franks wing sauce on it and I bet I love it. I should of ordered the Marion Village with chicken vs gyro meat. Imo, that would be the perfect sammy there.

This is a new restaurant in our area and I really wanted to try it. The food was really fresh and delicious. I enjoyed my salad a lot. My husband had the special of the day which was a roast beef sandwich. I had a bite of it and it had an amazing flavor and the bun had a delightful crunch. His meal was probably the better choice. The restaurant was very neat and clean. Order at the counter and then your food is brought out to the table. Pretty quick service overall. I will definitely go back as I would like to try their breakfast.

A good selection of seating options: at the bar, some small two tops, and some four tops along the side. Bet it gets packed at peak. I was here at 6:30 on a weekday, and it was half full. Ordered at the bar. The bartender was great. Laid-back, helpful. They had birria tacos as a special, which sounded really good, but I went with the bacon jam burger that everybody talks about. And it is an excellent burger. Great bun; great burger, thick and meaty. Gouda cheese, lettuce, and onions and tomato. And the bacon jam, which was more subtle than I expected. A nice layer on there, adding some sweetness and saltiness, but not overwhelming. Blended well with everything else. There are several other appealing burgers on the menu, and I am interested in what their specials are since this one looked good, so I'm sure I'll be back.

These meatballs were incredibly tender, sitting in a rich pomodoro sauce that brought a beautiful balance of brightness and depth. Finished with a sprinkle of pecorino Romano, each bite had that savory, slightly salty kick that elevates the entire dish. It was definitely not the same place. However, this place warmed up to me pretty quickly. It looked a lot different when it first opened, has theough a few changes with one being a Hallway to the sushi restaurant next door - Great sushi by the way!! My friend and I were equally impressed. We got the giant meatballs from South Village and 3 different types of sushi from next door. Quite the spread but all of it was good!! I come a lot here - for months I used to come every Sunday night get the wings and hummus. Whatever the old wing sauce was - it was sooo good. They have now switched to buffalo and to be honest other places make it better. Still try the hummus. It's delicious. So is the incredible meatball. Drinks here have always been really good. Quality. Pizza really goood - get the Hot Honey pepperoni. They also used to have one of the best calamari plates in the city - and I have Italian parents who ALWAYS order Calamari. So if you ever see it - get it. Small tv in the corner by the bar - enough to be seen, small enough not to kill the vibe but definitely don't come if your goal is to watch a game. This past time I went I had the Braised short rib, with a Martini and the cookie with ice cream for dessert. I hardly ever get dessert but some broad yelled at me for getting stuck in the great snowmageddon snow on the way here so cookie it was!

The servers, despite being less than an hour from close, were super friendly, and they made me feel like I was part of everything. No clique-y vibes or disgruntled employees. Lots of joking and laughing from the staff when they weren't serving. -Food was delivered freakishly fast. We had barely got our beer when we had apps, and we had only managed to get the chili cooled enough for a few bites before entrees came out. The kitchen was really on top of things. -Really large selection of salad options. Their ranch was really delicious, but most importantly, all the salads felt like relatively "healthy" salads unlike many places that try to make them restaurant "quality" by stuffing them with cheese and other treat-y options. This could definitely be a place you could take someone who had to watch what they were eating for various reasons. -Prices were very, very reasonable, and we came away with a good meal without spending too much. -It was raining when we left, and staff was offering to walk people to their cars with their restaurant umbrella. Seriously, it was amazing. CONS: -No dedicated parking lot. There were decent available spots on a Thursday night at dinner, though. Fairly large menu for a bar. I thought about burgers and other things, but I ended up with the southern dog. A good dog, good bun, with excellent pulled pork on top, good sauce, greens, relish. And I of course had to get cheese curds because I love them. They were very good too. Small, crispy, nice and melted inside. Came with a good, creamy sauce with a tiny bit of heat. Those added up to enough food for me, because I wasn't very hungry. Definitely on a normal day for me I probably would've also gotten a burger, or some other side. For a lunch, or a late evening meal, curds and a dog were perfect. And tasted excellent. Not busy on a Thursday at 6, just steady. Service was good, upstairs and down. Drinks are at the bar, or they have some canned pop upstairs. I really enjoyed my experience. The only negatives? The soothing sounds of axes, thunking against the walls right beside your table. And the stools are weird. They are too short or the tables are too high or something. And I am 5' 10", so not small, they just were not quite where I needed them. But, if you're eating drippy food, or your motor functions are impaired, a high table might reduce spillage. Speaking of motor functions, the stairs up to the food joint are steep, steep steep. I have bad knees, and it was a little rough for me. Prices are good. The music is good. The atmosphere is good. The food is good. I'll be back.

It made it way easier to eat. The cheese was nice and gooey. Just perfect. The onion straws were good too. I shared those with my husband. My wife and I started dinner at 5:45 and didn't leave until 8:45 and it was a lovely evening. We chatted for hours, sampled some absolutely delicious food, and just generally relaxed. We had a lovely server, but to say it was just a single person would do the staff injustice. I feel like every single employee in the place waited on us. All of the staff were knowledgable and gave off pretty cool, chill vibes. Three hours is a long meal, but the pacing was superb. Courses didn't come out like beats on a metronome. Rather, the pacing was changed to meet the waxing and waning excitement for the next plate of an absolutely enormous amount of food. The appetizers came in at a measured pace, the mains slowed, and then deserts were served rapid fire. Between courses, staff might stop by for a quit chat before moving on to the next pressing matter. Lots of staff offered their thoughts on their favorite dishes or suggestions on how a plate my be best enjoyed. The whole experience lacked any pressure or pretense. There were fine dining touches such as replacement of my wife's napkin after she stepped away for a break, but it felt more like eating at a cool friends house than it did eating in the ballroom of a palace. Do you know what I mean? You aren't going to Agni for opulence. You are going for a cool exciting food adventure that you aren't going to get many places and certainly very few in Columbus. We had the Midwest Tasting Menu. 11 courses? Something like that. It was expensive, but I don't even mind it. We loved the "Health Sodas" that were curated by the bartenders. My wife had a coconut, lime, and guava concoction and I had some else that was sweet and fruity and tart. The first few bites of pani puri with spiced ginger and then the "happy meal" and salad course really set the tone of a kitchen that puts out excellent dishes with balanced flavors. For me, the best bite of the night was the Thai noodle salad. It was just a perfect amount of spicy with lots of textures. Mine was served with tofu since I'm not a seafood lover and it was the best tofu preparation I've ever had. My wife's favorite was the "soup and salad" course which is hard to describe, but I agree that it was delicious. The low point of the evening's food for me was in the seafood course. My wife loved her actual seafood, but my vegetarian replacement was a miss. They served it with a piece of baby eggplant that was nearly raw; crunchy and practically inedible. I will forgive them, but I think that one needs to be rethought. The end of the meal had lots of little fun touches. The bill comes in a giant lego minifigure head. The restaurant provides a souvenir menu that lists all the dishes that were tried. There were some curated, store-bought candies for take away. All-in-all, it was just an excellent experience. Do yourself a favor and try it, but go hungry and maybe don't try to eat every bite of every dish so that you aren't hurting by the end of the night.

We've been to Agni before, but the current menu is so worldly with a few flavors new to us, yet familiar with the Midwestern vernacular built into each of the 12 courses!
