Food very good. I have had bigger portions elsewhere. I would like the corn beef to have a stronger taste . The rye bread is perfect . There signature sandwhich need more sauce so just ask for it. Potato salad is refreshing. It's not a southern potato sauce but it is good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking is hard and getting a seat inside can be hard but worth it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend trying it a few times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is fast and the ambiance is all NYC deli.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't forget your pickles.

Waiting for 40 minutes for a sandwich was totally worth it!!! The line was out the door and went fast but this is a don't miss kind of place! The menu is huge and there are so many odd one so try not to get overwhelmed. Everyone working there was really friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. We ordered the club sandwich with no cheese or lettuce, pastrami, and matzah ball soup. All were top notch!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Always grab a pickle or two, and if you can see an open seat, claim it immediately[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Katzingers is my favorite Deli in the city. Although I keep hearing about long wait times, I've never waited longer than 30 minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and decor is super cool and they have a huge menu, so there's a sandwich for everyone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The best part of Katzingers though is their sides and free pickles. The potato salad is especially good.

Everything about this place was fantastic! The deli sandwich's were packed with toppings. And the pickles barrels were eat as many as you want. One of the most delicious delis I've ever been to and the staff was super friendly! My family tried their pastrami sandwich, salmon bagel, "Todd is my Copilot" blt and "misty and steff rule the world" blt. Everything was delicious! We liked it so much that we're planning to come back again tomorrow before our flight.

This is the best deli anywhere in Ohio! My recommendation is the #41 (Phil's Katzingers Club) it's to die for. I try to mix it up every now and again but that is just so good. The redskin potato salad is to die for. I've never had a bad sandwich here. You also gotta load up on the homemade pickles! The staff is always very nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibe of the Restaraunt is very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decorations are really fun and cute and match the vibe of the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, it's a great place and [[HIGHLIGHT]]when it's warmer they have outdoor seating which is a great place to sit and eat with a friend![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have Vegan, Vegetarian, and Pescatarian Options!

Stopped in for restaurant week since you really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu here. We tried the Greek salad, rhuben ,hot pastrami and the key lime pie. Everything was delicious and the sandwiches were hot and fresh. We always have a great experience on every visit.

Used to live in German Village, and we would come here once in awhile; it was kind of expensive for what it was and it was always crowded, so we generally didn't go unless someone was visiting from out of town and had heard about it. Hadn't been in 15-20 years. It's still here, so they're doing something right. It is a local landmark, in the village and in the city. I drive past it almost every day, so had to give it another shot. I went in the early afternoon, after the lunch rush, and there was a long, slow-moving line. The place was crowded and I thought about carrying my food out, but there are extra seats in the back, one of which I was able to snag. Huge menu, all kinds of options, all the classics and some interesting combos. I got a 31, the Belly Buster, which has corned beef and pastrami and slaw, etc. Regular size, which is still a decent sized sandwich, so in this day and age I guess it's not really overpriced. Except that, while it is good, it is not amazing. It is overpriced for the quality. I also snagged a Cajun knish, because of course I had to. It was a good knish; however, there was no Cajun about it at all, except for a hint of red dusted on top. No extra flavor. I passed on the latkes at $5 apiece. They're thick, but holy crap. Not really worth the price. And the pickles? Also good-not-great. Free, which is nice. Maybe I've just been to better delis in the 20 years or so since I was here. I wasn't impressed when I lived nearby, and I'm still not. Try it out, it's not bad, but it doesn't live up to the hype.

    Matzo Ball Soup
    Elizabeth Y.

First time here and it was pretty tasty! I got the shot fish sandwhich and matzah ball soup. The bread for both were excellent and so fresh! The sandwich was very tasty and hit the spot. The matzah ball soup was very bland so I wouldn't recommend. Worth the stop if you're in the area and tons of options to pick from!

Long wait, very long wait in line to order and then for your food to come out. Competition for tables is robust, so grab one as soon as it opens-up and enjoy a bag full of pickles while you wait. Garlic was the better of two, the other being regular dill. No balls for my matzo ball soup? At least I got to try the broth which was typical Jewish deli-style "dishwater." Good, not great and no balls!!! (They ran out). Got the 27 and 64 sandwiches (both large size) to try the corned beef and pastrami as presented. Corned beef was really smoky but good. Pastrami was excellent. Altogether with the items available to take home (breads, spreads, etc), the deli decor, and a very good overall experience, we may stop back if ever in downtown Columbus again. Certainly not a genuine New York deli, but darn good for the Midwest.

    70. Kahrl's Killer Club
    Demetrius B.

An overwhelming menu of sandwiches greet you upon walking into Katzinger's. My wife and I ordered the flagship Katzinger's Reuben and the Kahrl's Killer Club - both DELI-SIZE and both of which are designated as Top 5 sandwiches by the restaurant. Surprisingly, the Club was the better sandwich in the moment and in leftover form. It's a rather straightforward Club, but with the triad of meats piled as high they were, it didn't disappoint. The Reuben slightly disappointed. On paper, I should love this sandwich (especially after subbing sourdough for the usual rye), but I just 'liked' it. Maybe my expectations were too high. Each sandwich came with the ability to pick a pickle from the two barrels in the restaurant. No apologies in saying this, both the dill and the garlic pickle spears were awful. I wish I could un-eat them, but fortunately they were free. However, don't be scared of the true deli sides sold by the establishment. We ordered a potato salad, and it exceeded expectations. With so many other sandwich options to try, I'd go back to Katzinger's... with a better idea of what to expect.

    Is parking an issue?

If you're willing to walk a long block they have a lot on the street behind the deli. Street parking is difficult.

To start, we ordered at 6:27, our Door Dasher picked up the food at 6:36, but it wasn't delivered until 8:57... Completely unacceptable. Granted the extremely late delivery wasn't the restaurant's fault (necessarily)... However, because they use Door Dash for delivery, they're ultimately responsible by proxy. Add in that the delivery driver spoke no English, tried to kick our English Staffy who ran out whilst smiling to say "hi" (if you know anything about Staffy's, you know they love people and don't have a mean bone in their body), our food was cold because it was delivered 1.5 hours late, and I was about to lose my flipping mind. Now onto the food... These were quite honestly some of the worst subs we've ever had. Subway is miles ahead of this hot garbage, and it's not remotely close. The food was $50 for two puny half filled subs, inedible coleslaw (absolutely disgusting), a pickle, and a GF cookie (that was not delivered). Now onto the really bad part... Within 30 minutes of eating this trash, both my wife and I had to run for the toilet (I'll leave it at that). Bottom line... Screw this place. PS - If I ever run into Cosmic Dave, he's going to get a piece of my mind for charging people $ for this crap.

That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?"
