Wandered over from my hotel and saw this not so hidden gem. Got the chicken cutlet and the sandwich I received was probably the biggest chicken cutlet sub I've ever bought (was wondering the 17$ price tag but immediately answered. This sub could feed two very hungry people easily. Fry was perfect not overly greasy, the sauce and peppers were rich and delicious. This is one of those places that will have a line out the door on peak nights. I would go again but I don't think I'll get hungry ever again after that.

If you're a fan of cheese steak sandwiches, then this is a must try spot. I'm not a huge fan, but I do like them. It's more of a couple of years indulge for me. The portions and taste are spot on. So, if you start craving some cheesy meat and onions on a bun, this is a must try spot.

We got to town early for a Jackets game and gave Warios a try. They did not disappoint. I ordered the Warios way steak and my wife had the falafel. The guy at the counter was happy to help her get everything vegan and the food was amazing. I found this in my drafts and we have been back at least 5 times. Nothing changes top notch food and friendly people. Seating on the patio is nice in the warmer months but can be a challenge when it's cold.

Wow the sandwich was massive! I had the Philly Warios Way. Little did I know how big the sandwich would be, I also ordered the spuds as a side. Let's just say that I had leftovers for the next day!! My son recommended to me so now I will recommend to y'all if you are ever in Columbus. I opted to eat back at my hotel which was a 5 minute walk but they did have limited inside dining & a nice common area outside.

Oh my lord. It's so good! Tried the Caesar with crispy chicken. It's huge just how I like em. Convenient order and go location.

I've had this place on my list for a while. Excited to try it. First, the sandwiches are HUGE. You can share one for two people. Trust me. The Steak Wario's Way is decadent. The cheese and the bread hits the spot. We were all hungry and it was great. The pork was ok, but next to the steak, it's not as great. Potatoes are yummy. Again, you can share. Don't go crazy. Staff was very kind. Location is hard to find parking and seats are a hot commodity at the busy times but easily navigated.

If you love large subs stuffed well and served piping hot then you need to give this place a try. We ordered the Cheesesteak the wario way. The cheese wiz on it is had to explain beyond ooey gooey goodness! The grilled onions are perfection. The buns get high marks for the sesame seeds. I love those! We also ordered the Chicken Caesar with the crispy chicken. Everything about it was spot on. Plenty of romaine, dressing and fresh grated cheese wrapped around those crispy chicken strips. It was delicious. I think it may have even edged out the cheesesteak in my opinion which surprised me. For a place that you walk up to the counter and place your order we were served quickly. Waited less than 5 minutes for our order and we weren't the only ones there. You can sit inside or at tables outside. We sat long enough to share half of each sub and then wrapped them back up and headed to our next stop. As for the half of each sub that we took home, the chicken sub was great cold the next day. We heated the cheesesteak just enough to take the chill off and it may have been even better than day one. So leftovers are just as good as freshly served.

Fantastic!! Philly is cheesy, wholesome, & and unmatched classic. Loved the Classic Chicken Cutlet sandwich: unique veggies & perfectly breaded, fried chicken cutlet. Can't go wrong with potatoes, especially the House Spuds [parm & garlic on whole mini potatoes]. I would come back if in the area again.

Now I know what all the hype is, this place is FANTASTIC!!! Who needs to go to Philly to get a cheesesteak when there is Warios here in Columbus. Lets talk about how ginormous these cheesesteaks are. You could honestly share one with your spouse, kids, friends, coworkers....the person sitting next to you. Or just keep it for yourself for lunch/dinner later. . This place spent skip a beat. They were crank your food like their pants were on fire. The service was excellent, answered all my questions about the menu without being exasperated. The line to order moves super fast which was very surprising. It's a small space, but it somehow fits everyone inside.

I finally made it in to Wario's for lunch, and I thank the old gods and the new that I did. What flavor! What amazing character this place has. What aromas tantalized my nose as I waited. A camaraderie quickly formed among those of us in line, as regulars (experienced Warians) shared tips and recommendations with us newbies. I got the cheese steak and (crispy) chicken cutlet Caesar, plus an order of Warios spuds - crispy perfect potatoes with killer dipping sauce. Everything was ridonculously perfect. Like, out of this world good. Be sure to ask about off-menu daily specials! You order at the window, your food is made to order and then you feast - either at a few tables there or outside or in your car. The way everything smelled... sweet fancy Moses. I had to pull over and start tasting things, I couldn't make it home! I'll definitely be back. This place is worth all the hype - and then some!

I can't believe I haven't posted a review of my favorite sandwich spot in Columbus yet, but Wario's is a MUST visit! They have the biggest & baddest sandwiches in the city, and are serving up crazy cool sandwiches you won't be able to find anywhere else! Every single thing I've had from here has been incredible! The Sunday meatball is hands down my favorite, with the grilled Caesar being a close second! The cold cut is an amped up version of the classic deli sub, & the vodka sauce on the chicken cutlet is a game changer! Be sure to check their pages on the daily, to make sure you don't miss out on their amazing specials!

2ND Time going to Warios. THEY DON'T MISS. 1st time Clintonville Got "The Steak" warios way 2nd time downtown. Chicken Cutlet. I have a new local favorite. The owner was taking orders on the phone. Handing out in-stone and online/pickups. A customer asked about cleaning a table that was apparently dirty and the owner came out and wiped them both down. Washed his hands and Went back to frontline. Great food and service. I will be back

We really wanted Frenchi's, so we drove up to this OG location. No line which is great! A nice woman was working the counter. We got our sammies and brought them home. They were as solid as always, but there's some things I have to note: Frenchi himself always made our sandwiches to perfection. Toasted, hot, perfectly made. The two times we had another employee make them, they are just different. Same ingredients, but different ratios maybe? Today my husbands Eiffel came super toasty and meats/cheese heated up in a microwave (or toaster oven maybe?) My Buckeye always used to come warm, but only if Frenchi made it. Twice now, I got barely toasted and my meat wasn't warmed at all. Also, man I loveeee the house made chipotle mayo but today was just way too much sauce. Yes, I should have spoken up about what I specifically wanted, but part of my reviews need to include things like consistency. Today was fine, but not the 5 star I've come to expect. One star off for the other location being closed and not posted anywhere. One star off for inconsistent sandwiches.

Granted the extremely late delivery wasn't the restaurant's fault (necessarily)... However, because they use Door Dash for delivery, they're ultimately responsible by proxy. Add in that the delivery driver spoke no English, tried to kick our English Staffy who ran out whilst smiling to say "hi" (if you know anything about Staffy's, you know they love people and don't have a mean bone in their body), our food was cold because it was delivered 1.5 hours late, and I was about to lose my flipping mind. Now onto the food... These were quite honestly some of the worst subs we've ever had. Subway is miles ahead of this hot garbage, and it's not remotely close. The food was $50 for two puny half filled subs, inedible coleslaw (absolutely disgusting), a pickle, and a GF cookie (that was not delivered). Now onto the really bad part... Within 30 minutes of eating this trash, both my wife and I had to run for the toilet (I'll leave it at that). Bottom line... Screw this place. PS - If I ever run into Cosmic Dave, he's going to get a piece of my mind for charging people $ for this crap.

First time my wife and daughter stopped before our daughter headed overseas for two years in the Peace Corps. Scotty''s is super close and convenient to the airport. It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. Katzingers did not meet them. When I arrived to pick up my sandwich I was shocked the line wasn't out the door to place orders before they closed and the dining room had maybe 6 people in it. There were about 6 to go bags on the shelf along with mine. When I mentioned to the cashier that I was surprised it wasn't busier, she said it'll be busier tomorrow. I said the day after St Pat's? No answer. Another not good sign in my mind. When I got home, the wrapped sandwich was bigger than my hand but not very tall. The paper had areas of grease which is a good sign for this sandwich. The corned beef itself was tender but there wasn't as much of it, maybe an inch high and 1/3 of the bread had no corned beef. I also could not taste the thousand island dressing. The rye bread was toasted but pretty soggy. The crust was mostly crunchy. The bread slices were paired upside down putting a narrower side a larger side against each other. There is not enough sauerkraut and it is not very sour. I was given the choice of a dill or garlic pickle but I cannot tell you how it was because they didn't put it in the bag. I expected this sandwich to have so much meat in it, I could eat for multiple days for $18. Again, disappointed. Maybe I should've gotten the deli sized version but paying that much for a sandwich... The inside of the deli is fun and it's obvious it's been around a long time and has been well loved. I wanted to like Katzinger's but since the price and the quality don't match, I cannot.
