Best Italian Beef for miles and miles! Loved the boneless chucks of chicken, excellent house made blue cheese and ranch dressings and one of a kind in a good way fried pickles! I really liked their haystack approach to house made tater tots and after seeing their nachos will definitely have to try! This pop up kitchen is in Town Center Pub, which is a fun spot with Karaoke on Tuesday night.

Picked up some wings and ravioli. Double fried garlic, wiseguy and smoked Georgia peach. All were really good and flavorful. I will be going back soon to try other sauces.

I stopped at 2pm on a Wednesday and there were only a few customers and myself there. I order The Classic wit Wiz, fries and a Truth IPA. My food came out quickly in a to go bag. I was eating in but no biggie. The positives: the chopped steak, Wiz and onion combo is South St Philly worthy for real. The fries were a unique shape and were delicious. The music!! I heard Guy- I like, The System- Don't disturb this Groove, Christopher Williams-Don't wake Me... I was transported back to my days growing up in Pittsburgh. My only negative: That bun! Dry as Camel heels. To be fair, I ate it as soon as it came out and when I unwrapped it, a lot of the filling spilled out. If I had got it to go, the bun would've absorbed some of the cheese, steak and onion goodness and I'm sure it would've been juicier after 10 min. I'll take it to go next time. So all in all, I think I prefer Marlow's over the other Cheese steak giant in Columbus (as far as the authentic Philly cheesesteak). The other is great as a gourmet version of a classic. It all depends on what you are in the mood for. Great job Marlow's bringing Philly to CBus!!

Sandwich was delivered double wrapped, but when I opened, it was upside down. My bad I guess. Only comment, they do not use a classic dark seeded bun. Wario's does. Is this a bar with cheesesteak or a cheesesteak with a bar? Plenty of tables and parking.

It is our type of bar... Small and just a nice little place to hang out. Bartender was super friendly and service was great. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was so fresh and delicious. Little did I know, when I finally checked out their website, they have a TON of Philly cheesesteaks! I love a good Philly, so I knew I had to give it a try. Our service was pretty slow, but honestly, that's kind of on par with a bar, so I wasn't too surprised. Still, this could be worked on. We were on the patio and our server admitted he didn't know who was helping us. It turned out to be him - but after 15 minutes of waiting lol. The space is super cool and really unique. It has a fun atmosphere that makes it feel like more than just your typical neighborhood bar. The food was great! They have lots of different ways to build your own Philly, which I loved. There were also a bunch of different sauces to choose from, and I especially enjoyed getting to try those. The fries were thin, crispy, and came with a CRAP ton. They were really good and definitely not skimpy on the portion! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Flatiron Tavern. Definitely not just a bar with bar food like I originally thought. I'll be back for another Philly!

I arrived in the evening to grab some take out and the place was empty . They have an open kitchen concept and staff were super friendly. However, we waited quite a long time for our food. I got a small Hawaiian pizza and it took well over 25 minutes for it to be done, especially when there were no other patrons in the restaurant. After getting the pizza the staff were so nice to also give us some ice water. I think I'd give the pizza itself a 3/5 mostly because it was very salty and greasy. However, I did enjoy that there were lots of pineapples on the pizza along with the crispy crust. Having the pizza the next day cold was also okay. Would be interested to know how their other food items are as their menu was pretty big. Staff overall was super nice and friendly. Could use less salt on their pizzas in my opinion though.

When I arrived around 10pm on a Sunday night, the place looked like it was in transition to closing (chairs flipped over on tables, no patrons, staff members watching TV in empty booths). However, I was welcomed in to order by the friendly woman at the counter. She answered a few of my questions and when I asked what her favorite was, she immediately said, "Buckeye Garlic Pizza." I took her advice and was also able to add up to three toppings at no additional charge (mushroom, olive and sausage). I took a seat and waited about 10 minutes for my personal 10" pie, which came out hot and with a friendly, "Thank You, Sweetie." I ran the pie back to my hotel and opened up the box. The pie looked amazing. Perfectly crispy outer crust, six cheeses and garlic, along with my toppings. The pie was pretty damn good, with steam coming off the top. The six-cheese blend was interesting, with the dominant flavors being American and Cheddar. The sausage, olives and mushrooms were all fresh and plentiful. Definitely a good option to satisfy my hunger for a late night pizza in Downtown Columbus.
