Vintage is the perfect brunch spot to kick off any morning in Vail. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the quaint decor and friendly, smiling faces. I was warmly greeted by Donny who promptly sat me and made sure I had everything I needed before the incredibly friendly bartender Adaiah crafted me the perfect caramel oat milk latte and took care of me until it was time to go. I was recommended the daily special, the "Monte Cristo" and decided to give it a shot -- and was amazed by the flavor of the food. It was the perfect mix of savory and sweet and very filling. Everything that I've tried on the menu at Vintage has been well thought out and crafted with care -- I've not been even remotely disappointed on any of my visits. If you're in the area and wondering where to go for food, look no further! Vintage is definitely the spot to be. I've not had the pleasure of trying their dinner menu, but everyone I've talked to has raved about dinner at Vintage just as much as brunch! read more

Wow! What a cute little restaurant with Victorian decor, friendly service, and excellent food. Worth the stop in Vail. The veggie smashdown Benedict was so delicious, and the caramel apple Belgian waffle served as a delectable complement to the savory. 10/10 would recommend! read more

We came here for brunch and had a wonderful meal. The location is on the west edge of Vail Village up by the main road. The exterior is adorable and makes you feel as though you are entering a European cafe. We tried their pear cocktail and the French 75 which were served without delay. For entrees we split the chicken club which which was out of this world. Seriously, the chef deserves a handshake for the perfection that was this sandwich. For lighter fare we split the tuna sashimi salad which had excellent flavor and was not overdressed. Can't wait to return and looking forward to trying their dinner. read more

We reserved a table for our last day morning breakfast in Vail. Love the decorations and the atmosphere inside the restaurant. You can park at the public parking and then walk 5-10 minutes to Vintage. Love the daily special french toast with smoked ham inside. Lobster Gallette is a little bit soft but overall tastes good. The portion is good enough to make you full but not too much. A little bit pricy for breakfast. read more

What a lovely restaurant! We made reservations here for our post-elopement dinner and were blown away with the service, ambiance, and food! We were given the best table in the house and greeted with champagne. The baked brie and escargots were great starters but the half duck was the star of the entire meal- absolutely incredible! Next time we're in town, we will definitely be back for dinner and would love to try their brunch as well. Thank you so much to the entire staff for making our experience so special! We loved it. read more

They offered an $80 dollar "buffet" brunch that did not include any beverage (not even tea or coffee) , limited you to 1 menu order (that again I do not believe is a buffet) and only had pastries in the buffet. when we tried to talk to the manager because we wanted to cancel because we did not believe it was a fair price the staff (they wouldn't calla manager) was not only REALLY unpleasant and with a terrible attitude, but they charged us a no show fee of $140 dollars. I had the WORST experience, would not recommend ever. There are no scrambled eggs worth that experience. read more

We always have such a great experience here. Great food, served fast and hot. Service pleasant.

What a cute place! Definitely recommend this place for breakfast/ brunch! So many delicious breakfast cocktails and a large menu. They take reservations and have outdoor seating though the inside is super cute and it was way too cold for us to sit outside. read more

Vintage is one of the most highly rated brunch spots in Vail so I thought I'll give it a try since I was only experiencing two brunches in Vail and wanted them to be really good. It's a French place and I recommend making a reservation any day of the week if you want to sit outside. I chose to sit inside because sometimes the elements scare me, or at least I don't like them when I'm eating. They have lots of choices for brunch (for my vegetarian diet) which is served until 3 PM every day. I got the Swiss Forest Galete which is a puff pastry with mushrooms and egg. It takes 20 minutes to make as they make it from scratch and bake it for you which is cool. That having been said, it was fairly heavy on the pastry, without as much of the mushrooms and onions on the inside as I would've liked. Also it was slightly overcooked with the pastry a little too dense and not in the ingredients on the inside not as soft as they should've been. That's a shame for a dish that takes 20 minutes to make for it not to be right. A little more attention to the time it was in the oven had it come out perfect and I'm sure tasting much better. The Galete comes with a salad good but I really want to try their taters so I got hashbrowns or the veggie smash browns on the side. (again readers my default answer to everything is potatoes...) It had good flavor...it really tasted like potatoes, but this was also slightly over cooked. There was plenty of crisp, but not as much soft potato on the inside. This ended up being a fairly heavy meal. and I can see why they do the galete with a salad usually. (foiled again by my potato leanings...) The coffee was good and strong, served in LavAzza mugs. No complaints about that! I tried them again if I was in Vail, the light choose more carefully what I ordered so my experience would be so heavy. I might also consider specifying to not over cook the items so that way I can be sure to enjoy them more. read more

Great meal. This was a top notch restaurant. The appetizers are great. Go for the escargot. That was absolutely unbelievable. So so much flavor. Wine - solid. Plenty of options. The steak was very tasty and well cooked. Potatoes delicious. Truffle fries are definitely the play. Overall great meal and would definitely do again. Covid protocols - tables distances and plenty of tables outside. Servers wearing masks read more

So we have discovered a secret gem in Vail. The restaurant is called vintage. It's located in the heart of vail village. The decor is very old French. With beautiful paintings lining all the walls. However, while the restaurant is beautiful, the food is amazing. We've tried the eggs Benedict and their vintage breakfast they add a hash brown called a smash brown. It's more like an amazing baked potato that they smashed with incredible ingredients inside just very tasty. They have a full bar, and a cappuccino bar. So feel free to ask whatever you need to accompany your meal. Their brunch menu goes from 830 to 2; then they have an "Apres" from 2 to 5, and then dinner from five to close. If you're in Vail Village, you must give this restaurant a try. The wait service is impeccable as well. Dariya was constantly checking on us to make sure everything was OK and refilling both our water and our coffee glasses.I give it five stars and highly recommend it. read more

First night in Vail at 8,000 ft from sea level. Perfect, a delicious steak, fries (oh well) and a salad, paired with a modest red. Great vibe and a lovely server who actually knew her wines and could pronounce them correctly! Not our first time there and we will be back. read more

Vintage is a unique restaurant to try out while in Vail. I ordered the Southwest Benedict and was not disappointed. It is an interesting twist on Eggs Benedict that I wasn't expecting. The fresh squeezed orange juice and the coffee were also delicious. There was quite a long wait for a table for two but the hostess was able to seat us at a high top pretty quickly. The wait staff was kind and helpful. I also really loved the decor and the aesthetic of this restaurant. Overall, a delicious and fun experience. read more

Weekend getaway to Vail and this place came highly recommended for too brunch. With the busy season coming, reservations are recommended. It cute and cozy. Our server was amazing and very attentive. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The toast it came on was light and fluffy which is what made the Benedict better in my opinion. It came with a side of mixed greens and nuts which was good. But I like the bacon smash browns for a side better. I wished they had more hot sauce options beside just franks red hot. They used the same bread for the Swiss forest galette, which is probably why I liked this entree as well. This item takes a little longer to cook, which is stated on the menu- but it was worth the wait. The salmon toast had a nice presentation but I think some type of sauce was needed. The vintage American breakfast is basic and you really can't mess up eggs. I would definitely come back again for the Benedict! read more

Very great brunch walking distance from Vail town center. I recommend making a reservation, especially for the busy brunch times. All the staff wore masks and were very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. MUST ORDER: - bacon wrapped figs: amazing, not too sweet. - Swiss gallete: amazing! Truffle, onion and mushroom so good. And a fig and walnut salad really make the fish. - crab Benedict and southwest Benedict: classic, especially if you like those flavors SKIP: - beignets: just a little on the hard side -- not soft enough. More like a donut than a classic beignet. DRINKS: - the popsicle stand: a sparkling wine drink with a pink popsicle in it!! Enough said. Additionally, it is a very cute restaurant (not too expensive) and our server Colin was really great and attentive. read more

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. The food was absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I shared the Escargots, Steak Tartare, and Foie Gras Torchon, which was the perfect amount of food for two. All were amazing, but the fois gras was my favorite. Every component worked in harmony to create a perfectly balanced dish. For the top quality of the entire experience, it was reasonably priced. The three dishes and glass of wine for each of us plus tax and tip came to $100. If I ever make it back to Vail, I will certainly return. read more

The hostesses here are so incredibly rude. I went to put my name in and they told me it would be over one hour for an indoor table. I said, that's fine and put my name/number on the list. I won't get into details but it was clear from the interaction that they were trying to get us to leave 5 minutes later I got a text saying my table was ready. I came back and the hostesses were speaking to each other in Spanish clearly talking about us. They then lead us to a table outside. I kindly reminded them that we had requested an indoor table (there were many open). She led us back to the entry and said it would be another 15 minutes and she would text us when it was ready. No text ever came. Very confused by this interaction. But word to the wise, skip this place. read more

One of my favorite brunch spots in Colorado! Plenty of outdoor seating as well as indooor seating. The staff is friendly and the menu is fantastic. I wore hiking clothes, but everyone else was pretty dressed up for a classy brunch. Croque Madame Galette - The Croque Madame Galette was FANTASTIC. It takes a while to come out, but it's worth it. The puff on it is soft and flakey all at the same time. The egg was perfectly runny. Ham and cheese were delicious. It just all went well together. The salad was also great! Not too much dressing. Walnuts were a nice addition. Huckleberry Bacon French Toast - The french toasts was delicious. Tons of huckleberry on it. At times could be a little too sweet, but still a great dish. French toast was the perfect texture and absorbed the huckleberry well. Bacon and bourbon whipped cream were a nice little addition as well. Mimosa - Great flavor options! We got the strawberry and apple cider and they were both perfect. 100% would come back to this place every time I'm in Vail. read more

This may have been the worst dining experience I've ever had. We were a party of 6 celebrating two birthdays. Called twice beforehand and reminded hostess of this but no one ever acknowledged. Service was extremely slow. Server never asked if we wanted another round of drinks. Asked for more bread twice, and finally delivered 15 minutes later. They ran out of mussels. Brought out a salad that was meant as a main... a full hour AFTER ordering. I asked the serve to expedite the rest of the order and it was another 30 minutes before the rest of the food arrived. Filet was so small it became the joke of the evening. Bistro steak was incredibly tough. Chicken was meh. French onion soup was cold. Fries were cold. Brussel sprouts had strong vinegar taste. Two and a half hours for service and that was what we got, with auto-gratuity and not even an apology after expressing our frustration. What an embarrassing joke. read more

Service was good from the minute we were greeted. We am outside reservation but opted to eat at the bar- due to allergies! Andrew was awesome! The food was delicious. Fois Gras was outstanding. Brunch here will blow your mind. The outside tables were perfect on a sunny Sept morning. Our server recommended our dishes and they did not disappoint at all. The huckleberry bacon French toast was the next French toast I have had at a restaurant. Our server Chris recommended the Steak and potatoes Benedict substituting in the chipotle hollandaise sauce. It was crazy amazingly delicious. Would come back here again for sure. Oddly they close tues-thurs so plan accordingly. read more

Hate to report my view of Vintage has dropped. Returned for dinner with friends the other night. Service was the first concern. Our waiter seemed new and untrained. Took forever to get to the table to take dinner drink orders. Then took forever to deliver them. Understandable if the place was swamped but it wasn't. The drinks came out piecemeal and we had to remind him about the order. Then, he made no effort to discuss menu or ask if we wanted appetizers- which we did. He disappeared for a long while before we waved him down. Again, understandable if the place is full but this was not the case. We were seated next to only one other couple who were already eating and had several empty tables around us. The menu seems smaller than when I wrote my first review. Gone were the fish dishes that my wife enjoyed. The tables ordered mussels, hanger steak, filet and a rice and shrimp dish. I had the mussels and cannot recommend them. Some were lukewarm and the broth was unimpressive. The filet came out with truffle fries. We had to laugh about the huge amount of fries dumped on the plate. It was more than enough for three people. I had, by contrast, a smaller cup of fries. They were ok but the truffle is nothing special. My wife had the rice and shrimp dish. The shrimp were over cooked to the point of being solid. Cannot recommend. The waiter also knocked over glasses at a neighboring table then made only a minimal effort to clean the pieces. A problem because the woman sitting next to us almost stepped on a huge piece of glass as she went to leave. We called it to the waiters attention and he just walked away. I put the shards on the neighboring table to help someone else avoid it later. They only cleaned it when they later bussed the table. The same waiter dropped several plates while clearing another table. Guess he was just having a bad night. But the service and quality of the food here seems to have gone down. Disappointing since this was one of my favorite stops in town. read more

Love love loved brunch here! Bottomless mimosas (pineapple and grapefruit flavors also available) come in sparkling, Prosecco, and champagne options. Quiet little outdoor tables in the shade outside are lovely. And the food is just fabulous. Different than anything I've had for brunch, but reminiscent of the classics. I highly recommend the Galette (especially the one with their amazing bacon) and their take on the Monte Cristo (ham and cheese melted between waffles). Both were so freakin good! read more

I'm not a brunch fan, but this place deepened my distaste for the most over rated restaurant meal. We arrived at the opening bell and our server arrived in an absolutely filthy shirt. Put me off my brunch. Coffee arrived without milk or cream and it took 5 minutes to track that down. (Please, coffee first.) Poached egg over a deep fried, frozen crab cake with a bland hollandaise at $29. No salt and pepper on the table. Real amateur stuff. Vail deserves better, even if it's just brunch. read more

Cute French place. We went for dinner. There are way too many breakfast and brunch posts but hardly any dinner, so thought I would post one. This place is a very cute French place, decorated with art. Overall the food was great. We started off with the baked brie. We were happy with everything except for my dish, the duck. The duck lacked flavor and didn't have that crisp skin, you find at other French restaurants. I was very disappointed but chose not to say anything. I didn't eat most of it. Tbh I hate saying anything at nice restaurants. My son ordered the hanger steak and truffle fries which was great. Husband ordered the beef bourguignon, which cooked perfectly tender and with lots of flavor. I'd recommend going, but maybe for brunch. Only reason we didn't go to brunch was bc we stayed at the Arabella, which came with free breakfast buffet. read more

We came for brunch during a bachelorette trip. The bride had a known nut allergy that the staff was made aware of with the reservation. First off, they sat us 30 min late despite us having made the reservation 2 months in advance. A positive: the food was pretty good. However, when ordering a dessert we specified again that there is a nut allergy and the waiter said they would omit the almond flakes from the dish. When the dish came with what appeared to be an almond powder, we expressed our concern again but the waiter was adamant that it was not almond flakes. When the bride tried the dish she immediately had an anaphylactic reaction and required an epi pen or else her throat would have closed and she could have died. After this incident, not only was the waiter unapologetic, the manager was as well after making us wait for 10 min for her to come over. The waiter laughed and said "it's not on me, I'm not trying to kill you all". Then the day manager Tanya came over and kept saying "what do you want us to do about it?". There was no remorse, they would not let us speak to a senior manager or the owner and simply offered a free drink (the bride doesn't drink) or a dessert (the dish that triggered an anaphylactic reaction). Honestly, the food was pretty good up to that point but they were so unapologetically terrible when they made a life threatening mistake that was pure negligence on their part. This was probably the most traumatizing restaurant experience of our lives. read more

Very cute place, but absolutely terrible service. It took 1 hour & 20 minutes to get our food. They spilled a mimosa over the table & didn't apologize. Check the bill because they will absolutely try to charge you for things you didn't order. Had to correct the waitress twice & still got the bill wrong. And although we were polite regarding the bill being wrong, Ashley (our waitress) would storm off with the bill & not acknowledge us or apologize. Truly the worst service I've ever experienced. Our waitress was unprofessional & terrible. As people that have worked in the food service industry, we understand being busy. But there's no reason to be rude & reflect so poorly on such a cute establishment. Incredibly disappointed for a reservation we had 30 days out read more

Vintage when it sizzles! There's been a somewhat contemporary fad of these brunch places that have the look and feel of an old Parisian brasserie, and this is no exception aside from the English red telephone box located at the entrance. It's easy to miss Vintage, as it's located on a side street, but once you notice the outdoor French café-styled seating you'll know you're at the right place. The ambience is all top-notch in its attention to detail and everything is very European, especially in the sense of how compact everything is (i.e., small tables, small chairs, small portions, etc.) which is a nice breath of fresh air from the "bigger is better" mentality we're so accustomed to seeing. The server went above and beyond as I requested a Shirley Temple (one of the lamest drinks you could order as an adult) putting his own spin on it with fresh raspberries. He was also super patient and had a pleasant radiance about him. The food items on the menu were filled with references and puns, which I'm always a sucker for, and the eggs benedictine I ordered was served on a fluffy piece of toast which made it a total pleasure to eat. The only downside to Vintage is its location next to Vail Road with its constant traffic whizzing by, but that's hardly a groan. Vintage is certainly a hidden gem waiting to be unearthed by those with an appetite for a savory and satisfying petit déjeuner. read more
