Went here around 5pm on a Friday after hitting the slopes, and it was busy. It was electric and lively. Note, this bar is very very small, maybe can fit 20-30 people comfortably. We got lucky arriving as part of a table was leaving. There isn't a menu, you just tell the bar tender what you want and they'll make. It's a little more sophisticated than a late night bar, where you can order more than just a vodka soda. We asked for something pear related, and another drink that tasted tropical. The drinks overall were good. The pear drink, they alerted us they don't have pear but can try to make something close to it, came out tasting like apple cider which was tasty. The second drink was a pineapple forward spiked pina colada, which was not overly sweet either, a plus. read more

So small and crowded. Took forever to get drinks. They were fine but everything was sticky and hot and it was just kind of uncomfortable.

Small place, but if you go during the slower hours the place is amazing. We went when it first opened for the day around 4pm and the bar tenders interacted with us and made us drinks based on the flavors we said we liked. Great atmosphere and great service. Not sure how it is when it is busy, but if crowded isn't your thing, just be smart about when you go. 10/10 read more

Absolutely loved this place on one of our trips to Vail. Amazing cocktails, friendly servers, and lots of locals. They don't serve food (as far as I could tell), so come before or after dinner. Hard to spot walking by - they are the basement place with the amazing liquor wall. They may have an "at capacity" sign, but it doesn't hurt to wave through the front door as they may have had a party recently leave and forgot to take it down. I stumbled across this place when I visited Vail last year and i loved it! The staff was extremely nice and it seemed like they loved making different drink concoctions. For someone who is new to going to bars and enjoys a fruity cocktail it was really nice and made me feel invited to go next time I visited Vail. My most recent experience there was not very good. I ordered a fruity girl drink because if I'm at a cocktail bar I'm gonna get a cocktail, and the bartender scoffed and was said verbatim "who the fuck orders this drink?" While I assume he was just giving me a hard time, it felt extremely hostile and made me feel like I was a nuisance to him. I almost wanted to tell him to disregard and wanted to leave because it just made me uncomfortable being there after. The drink was fine but not worth the $14 after I was treated condescendingly for my drink order. Restroom is a 10/10 tho read more

I would never recommend this place to anyone based on their customer service. I don't know what kind of employee would not let a group of 12 girls in just based on the fact that we were a bachelorette party. The 2 bouncers and the other women at the door were incredibly rude. They seemed like they were drinking or taking drugs while manning the door. They yelled at us because we didn't realize they were bouncers and we apologized and then they said we couldn't come in as we pulled out our IDs. Excellent little underground bar with quite possibly the cleanest bathroom you will find in Vail. Drink selection is top-notch including lots of allocated spirits that you will not find anywhere else. The only reason I cannot give it five stars is due to the smallness of the space. Because it is such a small area at the end of the day after everyone has been on the slopes the main area of the bar can get cramped very quickly and begins to smell like a locker. That being said, it is still more than worth stopping in for a drink especially for a late nightcap. read more
