We were staying at the Hythe and decided to check out the restaurant on a chill Sunday! It was off season and a Sunday which probably accounted for how dead it was so it was a bit baffling that the reservation required a credit card up front and would have charged $25pp fee for no shows - as when we saw we were about the only patrons we would have left of not for the fee. The atmosphere was dead but food was great! Lovely cheese plates featuring local cheeses, a water melon salad, an eggplant veggie dish and grilled artichoke! Service was kinda a miss! The completely forgot one dish then included it on the bill along with the entire order from the party behind us! I imagine it's better in season but food and drinks were good!

Ok. This place. It has some good qualities. The best one being our waitress which was an absolute sweetheart so I just wanted to say that first and foremost. But the food...oh where do I start. We ordered the filet medium and a burger and it took an hour for our food. Hubby got his filet 10 minutes before I got my burger as well. Bread rolls? Don't recommend. Looks like paper. No good. The burger was not that great but it was edible and I loved the fries. There's also the issue of differing menus so the filet plate hubby ordered, didn't match. Thought he was getting whipped potatoes and asparagus but got a green paste with colorful cauliflower instead. When we asked the waitress about the menus, she did mention that there was an issue and that someone really needed to proofread these menus lol. At the end of the day, we would say that our waitress should be running the place because she was the one actually paying attention. This hotel is super crowded and it seems like there's just some things that need to be fixed. Maybe they will fix these things and they will be amazing in the future, but right now I will not recommend this place.

The Food and Craft Cocktails at the Revel Lounge within the Hythe Hotel (Vail, Colorado) were amazing! I was there on business for 5 days and ate at the Revel Lounge at least once every day. Everything I ordered was top notch, especially the Grilled Cheese & Steak Sandwich! The lounge has a good vibe and the staff was welcoming & attentive. Cassandra, one of the bartenders, makes the best Old Fashioned - apparently she also works at a local Whiskey Bar so that math adds up! .

We stayed at the Hythe during our trip to vail so naturally, we found ourselves going to revel basically every day for some apres ski drinks and snacks. They usually had live music which was great, the ambiance was dim and cozy, and the drinks were all delicious. The service was friendly, but the drinks did sometimes take a while to arrive. We tried a few food items here and everything was delicious as well. Some cocktails and a charcuterie board is the perfect post-ski pre-dinner vibe. Highly recommend!

I spent a lovely evening at Revel with some friends who were staying at The Hythe. We ordered a charcuterie board and wine to start. My favorite part was the honeycomb. Then for my entree I ordered the Colorado Trout and whipped potatoes and it was very good. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and hotel. Our service was great and the manager of the restaurant made sure to check in with us and ensure we had a great dinner experience. I would love to come back!

Elegant modern hotel with very hip restaurant. They had a DJ at the restaurant playing great music that set the mood wonderfully. Yet he never made it about himself. The decor is spectacular and the service is very good and the menu has great selection and flavor. Highly recommended.

The drinks were so good and Revel is a great place for a night cap if you're staying at the hotel. The sandwich and salad were amazing and easy shareables.

Located in the Hythe hotel Revel Lounge is brand new and has a nice modern space. Really cool spot to have a drink and warm up after being out in the cold all day. We really enjoyed both our drinks, the Hot buttered rum was one of the better hot cocktails I've ever had! The burger and fries were cooked well and exactly what you would hope for. My favorite was the lamb patty melt a unique dish with a bunch of flavor! The lamb was cooked just right and wasn't too gamey. Overall one of the better options for dinner in Lions Head.

Best Burger in Vail! Perfect with a beer or old fashioned. Bartender was great. Awesome DJ for a relaxing Friday night.

We walked in and it appeared to be a quiet night, we could see the bar was pretty empty. The hostess asked if we were staying at the hotel and we said no, we were dropping by for cocktails and wished to sit outside. She told us we could sit inside at a couch area by the entrance. One of our friends walked through the bar and noticed the fire pit seating areas were available and asked a server if we could sit there instead. She looked at us and said she would have to ask the hostess if any were available. Clearly they were and they didn't want our group sitting there for some reason. The bar was practically empty so not sure what the issue would be, perhaps it was because we were not hotel guests. After not getting back to us we just sat ourselves outside. Our server was Nivas. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.

Such a relaxing but chic spot to enjoy a meal after being out in the mountains. Our waitress was not overbearing and gave us enough time between bites to take it all in. She also made sure we got the full experience with the hot chocolate to marvel at its glory! The food was excellent, but the butternut squash soup was truly outstanding. It had a beautiful natural sweetness with a subtle hint of apple that made the flavor feel layered and comforting, and the pepitas added the perfect little crunch. It was one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. We also ordered the hummus, which tasted incredibly fresh and crisp, light, bright, and perfectly refreshing alongside the richer dishes. But the real star of the experience was the hot chocolate. It was absolutely decadent and comforting, easily one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and the perfect treat in a snowy Vail setting. Overall, Remedy Bar delivers a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and a cozy mountain-luxury experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping in if you're visiting Vail.

As anticipated, the place was gorgeous...with a slightly formal air. Given that it was in the Vail Village (near the ski slope), my husband was able to enter the place in his rugged ski suit. Despite the ambiance, it was a bit dead. I was disappointed with the lack of French music overhead...though maybe it was on so low, I didn't hear it? There were plenty of breakfast-brunch options, but on the menu, some items were noted as taking 20 minutes (which we didn't have time for!), so I was a tad bummed about that. In any case, my husband chose this Huckleberry Bacon French Toast, and I ordered the Maryland Crab Benedict. For drinks, we both just ordered plain coffee. As expected, the foods were good. I was more impressed with my husband's choice, this super-fancy french toast. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted spectacular! Mine was good, but disappointing at the same time. I really liked the Crab Benedict, but I only half-liked the side salad (basically just Arugula with a few Walnuts and Figs). The total bill for these items ran over 100 bucks... which, was to be expected in Vail. However, for such a pricey breakfast, I felt that I should have absolutely loved it...but it felt short of that. Overall, I just expected a bit more from this breakfast experience. Again, the decor was gorgeous, but the ambiance wasn't fully there (because of the lack of music?). Service felt a bit short-skimpy as well. Foods were good, but mine especially (Crab Benedict) felt a bit lacking. Let's just say that I've had Crab Benedicts as just as good for half the price...and with better sides. Maybe lunch or dinner experience is better here? In any case, am glad we checked out the place...but I doubt I'll choose it for breakfast again.

From the artwork on the walls to various touches throughout, you have the feeling you are in Paris. The food, although good, was just that - good. The Steak Frites was, I'm sorry, not all that special. The Fries were very good but the steak was lack luster with the Béarnaise Sauce missing key flavors like shallots and especially tarragon. The Aubergine Roulade, roasted eggplant rolled with roasted red peppers, spinach, chèvre and herbs served over baby arugula, mimolette cheese, toasted pine nuts, pickled fresno pepper & aged balsamic reduction (!) was good. With all those ingredients it should have been spectacular. Nice evening but disappointing.

One of the owners greeted us and immediately made us feel at home. We asked if he could make something akin to a vodka sprite (I know, basic) while we looked at the menu. When he returned with the best vodka sprite ever. At Archetype, explained the owner, they make their vodka from grapes. During the distillation process, they infuse their vodka with different flavors. For the vodka sprite, he used a lemon/lime infused vodka, a lil simple syrup, and some spritz. And when I say he explained this process, trust that he explained it throughly. We decided to have a tasting. We ordered the lavender, the earl grey, and the Serrano. Taken neat, each was incredibly smooth. Our host explained, that made with grapes this vodka has much less of a bite than traditional vodkas. Also, you might think the Serrano would have been hot hot, but it was not. Because they introduce the flavoring elements (fruits, peppers, what not) during the distillation process only the essence of the flavors remain in the vodka, so no sugars or whatever it is that makes biting into a pepper burn. Do yourself a favor and visit this place on your next trip to Denver!

I decided to make a long past due visit to Archetype to check out their distilled spirits. In addition to their vodka and gin, they make a long list of small batch distilled spirits of various flavors. When you walk in there are a few high top tables and a long bar. My recommendation is to sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders. They are knowledgeable and will craft a cocktail based on what your favorite flavor profile is. As my friend C says, "if it's muddled N will drink it!" She's not wrong. She speaks the truth. I told the bartender that a cocktail with either the blackberry or strawberry spirits would be a great start. He mixed strawberry with their mint spirit, added soda, and ice in a tall glass. It was really refreshing. Because they have so many different flavored spirits they can craft almost anything. If you like a dirty martini, they have blue cheese and olive flavored spirits. I tasted the blue cheese spirit separately and it was hmmm...interesting by itself but mixed with the olive spirit and "ta-da!" - you've got your dirty martini. Their vodka and wine are made from wine grapes. I didn't get a chance to try either the vodka or gin this time but will definitely be back on my next ski trip to Vail. The distillery is located just a few doors down from Mountain Standard near the bridge over Gore Creek.
