Tavernetta popped on my radar because their co-founder and Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey visited Ann Arbor, Michigan recently. Then, we so happened to be in Vail where Tavernetta opened less than a year ago (Dec 2024!) Located inside the Four Seasons in Vail, this space is as you'd expect - absolutely gorgeous. We came for Après-Tivo (a fun play on words with Après Ski & Aperitivo) but basically their daily Happy Hour (3-5pm). It's not a GREAT value but it's great pre-dinner nosh: *Focaccia (Olive Oil, Red Wine Vinegar, Grana Padano) - made in house! delicious and soft. *Piatti di Cicchetti (Marinated Olives, Pickled Vegetables, Marcona Almonds) - Okay so the marcona almonds were pretty stunning - they were seasoned with maldon as well as lavender/thyme (?). It was also a generous portion. *Milano-Torino (Campari, Cinzano Vermouth) - to note that Cinzano Vermouth is a little thicker than my usual Cocchi Vermouth so just FYI but great beverage overall! *San Polo Spritz (Select Aperitivo, Elderflower Liqueur, Grapefruit Soda) - this was lovely!! Would get again. *Venetian Spritz (Aperol, Prosecco, Orange) - very classic and no complaints. but the San Polo was better. They have a fun lil' window that cues the wine windows in Italy. However, unfortunately, I heard the bartender call it "overflow for when it's busy" which is totally NOT the point and not the culture. But, whatever. I still got 1 spritz from the spritz window!

Tavernetta Vail delivered an amazing dining experience. Service was friendly, attentive, and made the night feel special. I started with the Cassini cocktail (rum, passionfruit, lemon), bright and refreshing. We shared: Focaccia Burrata For mains, we tried: Cavatelli Nero Rigatoni Risotto Ippoglosso in Saor (halibut) Finished with espresso and Torta di Carote. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. Great food, great service, definitely a must-visit in Vail.

Food was excellent- even my nephew was praising the chef! It was so delicious that he ate everything off his plate. Every dish we ordered was absolutely finger licking good. Definitely should try the burrata that is freshly made in Italy and shipped within 48 hours to the restaurant. I recommend ordering family style so you get to enjoy appetizers, followed by pasta, and then a protein like the tomahawk. The ambiance is as expected of a restaurant in the Four Seasons. If you're in Vail , you should definitely try this restaurant. It was the most memorable dinner we had all week while visiting Vail.

Absolutely loved dining at Tavernetta! We had heard that they just opened in the Four Seasons last month (December 2024) and we had to try it. The staff did not disappoint. Denni made sure to literally take care of every single thing we needed and made sure to tell us the specials. You can just tell all the staff has their stuff together because they all had their strut down. I love how their menu works. We had the focaccia and burrata together. Yum. Then we had the insalata which has the perfect amount of dressing and Parmesan. After that, we shared the Linguini and it was one of my favorite parts of the meal. The lobster and noodles together had the best flavors. And then for the steak we had New York Strip, dry-aged. We usually don't have a lot of luck with dry-aged but I ate every bite of my portion. It was apart of the A5 Wagyu special and that Wagyu melted in our mouths. And I don't even have to mention how gorgeous the interior is! Chef's kiss to this place all the way. You must go here AT LEAST once during your stay in Vail!

Went for happy hour so can't judge the food but we did have focaccia and burata, which was flown in fresh from Italy! Ambience was very nice ( inside the four seasons hotel) and lovely cocktails!

Food and service were excellent and on par with the Union Station location. We had the salmone affumicato, rigatoni, spaghetti, sorbetti, and a flight of amari (St Hubertus, Nonino, and dell Etna). Recommend arriving early and grabbing a pre-dinner cocktail upstairs at Remedy and stopping by another day for a San Polo spritz.

Wow. Tavernetta was AMAZING! We came for the trendy Hot Cocoa at the Four Seasons bar (upstairs), were disappointed by the forever wait time... only to find something MUCH better by accident!! Tavernetta's architecture and vibe is incredible. When you walk through the sliding pocket doors, you feel almost like you've entered a French alp secret society with 40 ft vaulted ceilings. Then you are greeted by their incredible staff. Shout out to Chantel and Raoul, our most excellent stewards. Chantel was charming and personable. And Raoul never let a water glass get empty. Then there was Marshall, who took us on a brief, but in depth tour of the wine room. I now have an appreciation for Italian, French and Spanish wines I didn't have before. Incredible! Thank you, Tavernetta! This will be a definite must-stop from now on!

We walked in and it appeared to be a quiet night, we could see the bar was pretty empty. The hostess asked if we were staying at the hotel and we said no, we were dropping by for cocktails and wished to sit outside. She told us we could sit inside at a couch area by the entrance. One of our friends walked through the bar and noticed the fire pit seating areas were available and asked a server if we could sit there instead. She looked at us and said she would have to ask the hostess if any were available. Clearly they were and they didn't want our group sitting there for some reason. The bar was practically empty so not sure what the issue would be, perhaps it was because we were not hotel guests. After not getting back to us we just sat ourselves outside. Our server was Nivas. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.

Such a relaxing but chic spot to enjoy a meal after being out in the mountains. Our waitress was not overbearing and gave us enough time between bites to take it all in. She also made sure we got the full experience with the hot chocolate to marvel at its glory! The food was excellent, but the butternut squash soup was truly outstanding. It had a beautiful natural sweetness with a subtle hint of apple that made the flavor feel layered and comforting, and the pepitas added the perfect little crunch. It was one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. We also ordered the hummus, which tasted incredibly fresh and crisp, light, bright, and perfectly refreshing alongside the richer dishes. But the real star of the experience was the hot chocolate. It was absolutely decadent and comforting, easily one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and the perfect treat in a snowy Vail setting. Overall, Remedy Bar delivers a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and a cozy mountain-luxury experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping in if you're visiting Vail.

A really lovely experience in Vail. The Austrian ambiance is over the top on just the right way,…read moreand it fits in with Vail's faux-Alp atmosphere quite well. The food was also delicious. I tried the porcini mushroom soup with truffle dumplings and all of it was delicious and savory and warm, and even served with a delightful carnation on the side! For the main course I tried the pork shank (Schweinsaxon?) and the meat was fall off the bone good. The mashed potatoes were tasty but the sauerkraut was truly phenomenal. It's not a bargain meal, but it's not nearly as expensive as it could be, being tucked into Vail and visited by a very wealthy cadre of visitors. The service was also great. I commented on one of the waitstaff's steampunk goggles and he asked if I wanted to try them on for a photo op. I declined, but laughed at the invitation. All our questions were answered with politeness and ease, and I was quickly taken care of when I asked to buy a slice of cake on the way out. Would love to make this an annual December visit tradition.

The amount of fondue was absolutely paltry, especially given it was supposed to serve two people and cost $80. We had a nearly full basket of bread remaining after eating all the cheese. They also provided boiled potatoes and blanched vegetables to dip in the cheese along with dried fruit but that only made the meager cheese situation worse. It was more appetizer sized and even the fondue itself was bland and lackluster with no flavors of kirsch, wine, or other seasonings. We had to go somewhere else to actually get dinner. I appreciate the waiter discounting our meal to try and make up for it. The portions of the other entrees looked good so maybe go here for those and skip the fondue.
